Actually nobody cares about we have no male scientist, but already THREE mad scientist being male. On the other hand I can say 2014 was also the first year in which TLG made also female thieves for the city theme, before that all thieves and convicts were simply male. This was clearly offensive and TLG was good in repairing. It's reverse sexism. If you exxagerate on being too concerned on sexism problems, you may end having a sexism problem on the other side. Pick female pirates. Ok, Lego puts female pirates in sets, but except for some very rare and cherry picking cases, female and pirates were just carnival costumes.

Hello, i recently took the job to develop our LUG/Community. I am italian, and I am from Rome. My LUG is RomaBrick and we also have a twitter account as well as a facebook page and an internet site. I took the charge to write at least one article per day to increase our site's view and scope, but I don't really see it growing. Our goal is to became a standard for the Italian community, because we are really understated as a community. Here in Italy we don't even have a Lego Store and this is really a pain. We aim to make TLC understand that the italian community is alive and big, and that italians are a lot in Lego too. The problem is that AFOL are scattered all over the country, and most of the time they don't even know there are LUGs and Legofests, while we organize at least one every two months. Most of our visitors are totally amazed, they didn't even expect our MOCs, we currently have the biggest Castle asset in all Europe and we are very proud of that. But, this said, I really have to admit I am pretty new to this part of the job. So, I welcome every suggestment, I am open to any kind of advice, after all it's all about developing our passion! Thanks!

It's my pleasure to announce that this year we will renew our yearly appointment in Porto San Giorgio for our December's Legofest. We are currently working hardly for it and we can announce we will host a large City asset, our trademark diorama about GRR Martin's "Game of thrones" and many more (pirates, super heroes, etc). We will host a big mosaic building, every visitor can take a part in it and contribute in order to create... surprise! We will host our "Pick and Build", another Romabrick's trademark, an asset that allows people to play endlessy with Legos and then deciding wheter to bring them away for a little price or not. We will have our marketplace, where AFOLs can buy, a small refreshment point and info points about Romabrick and all its activities. Most important we have some limited free accomodations for foreign AFOLs who want to take a part in the exhibition. This means that if you want to join us and exhibit your MOCs we will provide a room and free meals. This is a special offer so please get in touch with the organizators at info@romabrick.it to learn better about this offer. Porto San Giorgio is a classic turistic town in Italy's adriatic coast. It is close to famous Fashion Outlets and offers unique views. Romabrick Porto San Giorgio 2014's will be held starting from 6th to 8th, December 2014. Infos at info@romabrick.it Please visit www.romabrick.it for every info about our LUG

However, reading the names, this series promises to be the best one. If Goblin is a real deal, I'll buy an hundred of that. King and Evil Wizard are very promising minifigures. Also Egyptian Warrior is very appealing. Galaxy Trooper and Alien trooper are very interesting provided they don't mess with them putting a female character. (And alas it can be, since they already made a Galaxy Patrol and an Alien Avenger.... let's hope they don't. ) Sheriff is nice too, even if I am not into western. The others I'm not really interested too much in, but let's see!
