Hello everybody! As I already told you, I was planning a new, BIG game for your fun! And now I am ready! Are you ready for THE GREATEST MINIFIGURES GAME ? Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 1, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. Only one minifigure goes to the next stage. All 384 collectibles released so far are present. 384 / 6 = 64, only 64 will survive the first round. I will tell the winner when going with round 2 and so on. And now vote!

TLG has been recently awarded #2 in most considered company in the world. They won't do any WW2, and that's good, or they would drop down in this standings.

Of course here nobody is judging wheter one was or not entitled to love a theme. I just said that such themes didn't sell well.Galaxy Squad and Simpsons on top. These two, alongside with others, sold very less than the expectations. Furthermore I can add that in my selling experience if a kid wanted a space stuff, he woiuld always end up asking a Star Wars, even if it costed more than an Alien Conquest or a Galaxy Squad.

I haven't informations on Kingdoms but this I can say: while TLG was literally THROWIN' away some sets (Galaxy Squad, Ultra Agents' last wave, Chima's speedorz, Simpsons CMF2, Lone Ranger, PoTC, Prince of Persia, Scooby Doo) nothing related to kingdoms was in this list. So that's all I can say.

I have my sources. I cannot spread them, but the best I can say is TLG gave me two sets FOR FREE of Galaxy Squad. Which never happened for other themes. Space Police III was 6/10, Alien Conquest 4/10 and Galaxy Squad 2/10 out of my sources. I can understand that you are both basing that on personal anecdotal experience, not the case for me. But I can't step more on this terrain as I'd break promises I made to TLG. I can of course speak of those privately. EDIT: PS: I don't want to start a debate. If someone of you wants to think that Galaxy Squad wasn't a flop you're very welcomed to think whatever you want to think. I myself have reasons to state the very opposite, but if this leads in a forum-fight, that's not my cup of tea. If you can cope with the fact that TLG asked me personally NOT to give some piece of information about this very topic, I thank you. If you think that I am inventing all from scratch, you don't know me, as if you did, you wouldn't doubt about me.

In the sense they were a super flop. Where I am, you can easily find still Galaxy Squad on the shelves... it's a theme from 4 years ago, it's the only theme you will find easily on the shelves as NO ONE wants it. I bought some of these sets only for the minifigures because they had 80% discount. 80% man! How bad can this have sold if I find it at 80% discount! The only thing I've seen in the recent past that sold less than it was Simpsons CMF N.2

And Alien Conquest, Space Police III and Galaxy Squad were a big flop. Because children weren't interested in those.

Wow I read so much debating about this topic. The very fact itself that even here on eurobricks NK is considered ACTION THEME and fits not this section of the forum (white TLG thinks differently as I stated before, for them this is a CASTLE THEME!!!) is very interesting. I myself see nothing in this theme that is castle-ish, it's just a random fantasy theme. It has very nice minifigures (the evil guys) to me that can fit a rpg-fantasy themed castle subline, but nothing more. They are full with big bulkish unuseful pieces, I understand they can appeal the youngsters, but to me there is nothing like Fantasy Era. That's the best theme TLG has produced so far IMHO. That's only my opinion, I respect the ones who love this theme, but to their disgrace I hope so much it ends as soon as possible because I strongly believe there will be no space for the castle themes I like for the time this remains on the shelves. On the other hand, I see a point. NK has the power shields that connects to that videogame, the ongoing cartoon... I have very high doubts about this working on a normal castle line. So, I understand why TLG focuses on stuff like that. Ninjago reached out to have even its personal movie. I bought some of the villains too because they can fit a fantasy themed castle line even there, but I honestly understand when people like x105black come here and say "yeah, there are plenty of interesting pieces scattered amongst the NK, Elves, and Ninjago subthemes, but I'd gladly buy a set containing all stuff that I need instead of spending money and being full of a lot of pieces I can't find an use for." That's a point. So, in the end, I see the reasons why TLG doesn't focus on historic themes any more (like pirates, western or classic castle)... it's because nowadays kids aren't interested in these. They want their named character, not their unknown-knight character. They want to see on a monitor (videogame/cartoon) that character. I think TLG also has an eye for AFOL by scattering interesting pieces here and there, but you can buy them only on bricklink. My fellow AFOLs are losing way interests in the sets as they are. That's a very common refrain in my community. But again LEGO is for kids, they are TLG's major customers, so it's pretty normal, though disappointing, that they look always at them when designing a new line.

Lol... your dislikes are the main reasons I instead love this series. The Dwarf is in fact excellent, and if the elf didn't have the elf ears, that would be a common medieval maiden, you have plenty of different hair from which to chose, instead with that hair I can make both male and female elves.

2018 can be the last year for NK, if their sales are not spectacular.... we'll see.

Hi guys! Although it's quite early, people asked me to start my usual topic about guessing the entries for Series 18, which should come in 2018 as far as I know. So I've run so many times this game, and people liked it, so then here it is. Please, it's a fun game but mind those simple rules so we enjoy it the most: Try to be specific. "A headless horseman is preferered to some kind of man" You can copy. If someone else's idea is good, no problem, put his idea in your list. Sex doesn't count. Policewoman entry is valid for a policeman I'll assign 1 point for correct answer and 0,5 point for nearly-correct answer. This is my list and at the present moment, this time I am sorry but I have absolutely no clues for what lies ahead, so I'll be a neat player as you all are. 1) A firefighter. Again? Yes again. They'll end making one. 2) A shepard. They go on putting animal moulds in CMF line, so why not a nice sheep? 3) An harpy. I see this coming 4) A greek goddess /greek god or some like. Think like Aphrodite or Zeus 5) A cossack. Or some russian guy with a russian hat. 6) A guy with a venetian mask. 7) A Shaolin Monk, like in Burdon's design 8) A minstrel. 9) A Basketball player. Hello, as usual, here I am posting the results for the guessing game. I'm preparing two new games so stay tuned! First of all I want to thank all the guys who guessed. 27 people tried to get it right, but who won in the end? This time, it was really harder and most people didn't get anything right. In fact me, telaruhn, amazing bricks, actor builder, ed3n, mellow, petric_g, nerd-with-a-pencil, silverwolf 38, brickhat, fatsomania, cagast, astronutz, kenny1 and the lego fan scored 0. Which means that out of 27 competitors, 15 didn't guess any right! Robert8 and jjr_2009 nearly got one right, so that's 0,5 for them. Instead, Darrell Bricker, Gedren_Y, Sorrelon, Tech Artist, Williejm, Rodiziorobs and notpennysboat were able to score at least 1, which today is a great result. Now on to the podium 3rd place for BLAKSTONE who scored 2: the Chef and the Female Elf. 2nd place for AMPERZAND who scored 2,5: he guessed right the Chef and the Highwayman (which was very difficult) and nearly got the Female Elf. The winner is: LIFEINPLASTIC who scored 3 getting Circus Strongman, Veterinarian and Chef. Some figures were easier than others. 5 people got correctly the chef, 3 the circus strongman, 3 the female elf, 2 the vet. Also the Highwayman, Retro Astronaut, and partially the Dance Instructor got guessed 1 time. NO people guessed any costumed character, nor the Dwarf, the Hot Dog Vendor, the roman gladiator, the surfer, the connoisseur nor the yuppie. I agree, they were very difficult guesses. Thanks you all guy. Who wanna play with series 18?

Everything you say seems pretty correct to me. But, as an usual reliable source of rumours, I have to admit they are only insights, I can't confirm nor deny anything.

Series 18 will happen in 2018 and it will be the only regular. They probably plan to do one regular per year. The other two seem to be always themed. 2019 also has TLM2 in schedule, you bet they'll make a themed series on it. If there will be a Disney 2 (and you bet there will be) and it sells well, in 2019 I believe we'll see TLM2 - S19 - Disney3 in whichever order.
