Hello folks. I received the Classic Castle set from LEGO and as it has been pointed before, Nexo Knights are listed among the castle themes. Plus, at Legoland Deutschland, the Nexo Knights shop is in the castle area, where usually castle sets are sold. Is this enough for fearing that though Nexo Knights can be indeed liked as a theme, we won't get any historic castle theme as long as its production continues? I'd really enjoy understanding different points of view. Thanks

Hi guys! Although it's quite early, people asked me to start my usual topic about guessing the entries for Series 17, which should come after Batman Movie's CMF in May 2017 as far as we know. Series 17, 2017. Nice numbers, huh? So I've run so many times this game, and people liked it, so then here it is. Please, it's a fun game but mind those simple rules so we enjoy it the most: Try to be specific. "A headless horseman is preferered to some kind of man" You can copy. If someone else's idea is good, no problem, put his idea in your list. Sex doesn't count. Policewoman entry is valid for a policeman ​I'll assign 1 point for correct answer and 0,5 point for nearly-correct answer. This is my list and at the present moment, this time I am sorry but I have absolutely no clues for what lies ahead, so I'll be a neat player as you all are. 1) A firefighter. Yeah, pretty common in LEGO but never appeared in CMF 2) A shepard. We ALL want a shepardh 3) A centaur. Ok, this is quite more a dream than a guess, but I want to believe 4) An invisible man. I call for this since ages, so eventually it has to come. 5) A Terra Cotta Warrior. See point 4 6) A Teacher. Somewhat 7) A Shaolin Monk, like in Burdon's design 8) A Chaos Fighter, like in Warhammer, reusing the new helmet from Nexo Knights Lava Monsters, in Flat Silver, or the like 9) A Basketball player. And 12 sets of NK are "ultimate" at the cheapest level. So if you remove 17 sets from 37 20 are left. If you remove 12 from 29, 17 are left. Which however means that still Chima produced more sets than NK

Perhaps this is true, but they didn't show us yet. At the present moment, less sets are released on Nexo Knights' first year (including the ones TBA) than Chima's first year. Perhaps in 2017 we will have the table turned.

I peacefully disagree. In 2013 were released, excluding polybags and battlepacks 37 sets for Legends of Chima. They were a lot. In 2016 we will have, excluding polybags and battlepacks 29 sets for Nexo Knights. 17 have been realeased, 12 will show up in june and following. No third wave is planned for NK. So, Chima was a Big Bang theme far more than what Nexo Knights is. In fact, it was supposed to replace ninjago. It was a large letdown compared to the efforts placed in, but there is no evidence that TLG is putting more effort in NK than in Chima, if not of the opposite.

To those who are saying that the year isn't over yet: there will be no new themes from now on, at least this is what I learnt from the retailer catalogue who goes until December. Or at least, no themes for my country since sometimes they showed up only in certain countries. While Disney having a D2C planned could be enlisted, I don't see a lot of sets that fill the gaps left by Pirates, Scooby Doo, Ultra Agents, etc... I don't want to sound rude, really, but you didn't read my argument so you can't call it unvalid. I listed themes that appeared last year and not this year, then the opposite. I didn't mention 2014. And the Ecto-1 is not part of the Ghostbusters theme. It's part of the former Cuusoo now Ideas theme.

I mean, these are themes that were produced in 2015 and not in 2016: Ultra Agents Legends of Chima Jurassic World Scooby Doo Pirates The Lego Movie The Simpsons and these are the themes that were produced in 2016 and not in 2015: Angry Birds Nexo Knights Ghostbusters Correct me if I'm wrong but I see 7 themes discontinued and only 3 new replaced them. Do you have any guess why this happened?

Let's speculate about this CM4Sci's post. What do you think he's try to suggest? Perhaps... relax... is there an holiday minifigure planned for series 17 that we yet don't know?

No and yes. No, there isn't a place set for such. Yes, you can look for people inside the park and ask them if they want to swap, but I think it's quite difficult.

I may be a voice out of the choir, but I think this build needs some improvement. The building is a bit too blocky in my humble opinion. Why don't you try varying the blocks, using the masonry profiles, or bricks with studs on side so that you can attach grass on it? It works! And the landscape is a bit poor, always in my humble opinion. Why don't you try some little slopes (brick #54200 on bricklink). Those trees, also, are a bit bulky. You can find on the net instructions to build some nice trees from bricks. The idea is excellent now use it as a good start for making something awesome

Nope, I will Army Build Maleficent for the elmets and using them with Nexo Knights monsters, and the Genie.

Well my source said so, but it went wrong. Instead many other things went right. Actually, after all that Nexo Knights story, in which I seemed to be the only one to have pictures, and though I didn't post anything I was scolded and suspended by the modetrators here, I admit I am a little gun-shy. I can't tell what I can say or not about what I know, I don't want eurobricks to be damaged out of my actions. I discovered what an RLug is and I understood what eurobricks could lose in terms of sets for the raffles and contests if they are scolded by TLG for actions of their users... I don't feel like sharing a lot anymore. Simply this can do more harm than good. I'm enjoying the forum a lot less than before. I hope it's just a period.

This. The Genie is my main disappointment too. That headpiece looks very very odd.
