  1. Thanks for mentioning this. I hadn't seen it yet. It could fit into the modulars nicely.
  2. There is an unofficial mac port: http://megapov.ineta...unofficial_mac/ If you don't enjoy and feel comfortable researching, installing and tweaking other files with less support than the Windows version, you might want to pass on trying to get it to work on a Mac. But it can be done and once it is set up it is fairly smooth.
  3. MODulars. :) You could take any of them and build a secret door that leads to an underground lab. This probably only works for the chemist, though. :D
  4. Amazing work! I want one!
  5. The kickstarter looks cool. It looks that the tops of the drive cases are Kragled to the clear acrylic. Having an actual LEGO plate over it would be cool. It's been done. I'd prefer a LEGO Mac mini, though. (There are instructions online.)
  6. It shows up when I search for "tumbler" in S@H even if I'm not logged in. It says VIPs can buy it if they sign in, so I signed in and I could add it to my bag.
  7. I'm not one for tacking on more rules in a competition, but I hope there are two categories: one for built and one for digital. I think the work being done in LDD is great and it is frustrating to participate without having an Exo Suit, but those of us that only own a few sets and managed to get an Exo Suit can't compete with a free and unlimited supply of parts.
  8. I think it is requiring a URL to be entered for one of the websites. I forget what exactly I did to get it to work, but I think I had to enter a bogus URL for one of the websites if I wanted to save it, then I edited it to remove it.
  9. Maybe it was different in your market but I didn't see any hype at all from LEGO, even on Shop at Home. Also, I don't think LEGO ever said it was a limited one-time run, officially or unofficially. The only place I heard that was from one of The Brick Show videos, and it obviously turned out to not be true since there will be more.
  10. I have a few architecture sets in my build queue. I like the theme and even the prices are ok if I'm really interested in something. However, like the mini-modular set, the sets I really like are no more. I bought the architecture sets I have now on sale with the intention of building them once before using them for parts.
  11. This sounds like a job for Tom Cruise.
  12. Here is a lot of information about trademark Grammar: http://itre.cis.upen...ves/000943.html It even contains LEGO examples. Here is an excerpt: If someone is interested in the proper use of trademarks, the whole page is worth reading. The conclusion is especially interesting but don't skip to the end. ;)
  13. Somebody noticed.
  14. Great news! Thanks for posting, Klaus.
  15. I read it the first time when you posted it in a different thread. But seriously, I was confused by the trailer because of the multiple personalities.
  16. I write LEGO because I don't work for professional news organizations like CNN and the Washington Post.
  17. Hmm... I found this thread because it showed up in new content / not read. Not looking for a title at the moment, slowly backing up... LOL
  18. The sets were damaged when they removed the anti-theft thingy*. * technical term
  19. I like your title, lego3364. :)
  20. If indicators refers to turn signals and brake lights, they have to have them in the US if you want to drive it on a road legally.
  21. I thought so but I didn't want to speculate. I also really like cheeses, especially in that color. This is a great build. Every element has a purpose and tells part of the story.
  22. Great project! Any ideas about what you want to study? ;)
  23. What do the olive green cheeses in the curb represent? I started reading this thread by looking at the first picture. I had a bunch of threads queued in tabs and hadn't noticed the title. The first thing that I noticed was a cheese in the curb. I started to look at the rest of it for an explanation. The front of building's ground level is done very, very well. I noticed that next and it started to clue me in. The needle in the arm made it all click. But I am still wondering about those curb cheeses (in a good way).
  24. I agree it is ridiculous. It was probably created in response to a lawsuit because someone bought a set and it didn't magically build itself. I'm not joking. Ever read any of the negative reviews on Amazon? Pick anything, not just LEGO products.
