  1. Great job!
  2. Has anyone tried the Altbricks custom leaves? (http://www.altbricks...y/trees-leaves/) I am considering them for my next Moc.
  3. Nice Moc, some things to watch out for next time; the main (and only) photo of the Moc is cutting off the edge near the statue, either more photos taken from different angles or a more zoomed out main photo would fix that. Another thing to watch out for is the cape on the statue. The brown cape looks a little odd considering that the statue is stone. I would suggest either an extra piece of armour or a different coloured cape to improve it.
  4. Thanks! Thanks, I'm thinking about joining AG and if I do Kawashita will be the one I join! Hopefully thats a good thing! Thanks, glad you like it.
  5. My first space MOC! Inspired by Tim Schwalfenberg's Hurricane Battlecruiser https://www.flickr.c...in/dateposted/" More photos in the flickr album- https://www.flickr.c...157655940078071
  6. Nice Moc, one thing I would suggest for the photography would be a more zoomed out 3/4 view as the main photo. The current one makes the water look more uniform than if viewed from a different angle.
  7. For most models/sets leaving them out should be fine. In some cases (particularly with older sets/parts) some of the pieces can and do crack, one example would be the light grey and dark grey 1 x 1 slopes from about 6 years ago. Most of mine that I had on built up sets developed a crack along the top, they are still usable though. So, in the end it depends on what set it is and your personal preferences.
  8. Nice, I particularly like the technique used for the snow.
  9. Good job, I particularly like the stairs.
  10. Great landscaping, the path looks really good as well.
  11. Great technique used for the tree and great idea for the frozen grass.
  12. Good idea with the tower under construction. One thing though, the landscaping in all three stages of the build (but especially the last stage) is a bit sparse. One suggestion to improve that, would be to invest in some grass stalks (http://brickset.com/parts/374128) to add into the overall landscaping and build up a more layered, wild landscape. e.g.
  13. Great presentation, really nice mosaic on the floor as well.
  14. Glad you liked it!
  15. Looks great! Some of my personal favourite parts of the build are the roof, telescope and the chimney/smoke.
  16. The cottage fits in well with the scene in the first build, I particularly like the roof. The waterfall and rock work look good on the second model as well.
  17. Great job, I really like the waterfall.
  18. Glad you guys liked it.
  19. Thanks! The rock works was probably the most time consuming aspect of the build, followed closely by the technic pin roof.
  20. I originally tried to extend the blue background out further- I then ran out of bricks. Thanks!
  21. Thanks! Yes I will probably use it again. The sun was originally setting but I couldn't get the colours quite right for it to look convincing.
