Excellent microscale model. It has a really nice autumn feel to it. Excellent microscale model. It has a really nice autumn feel to it.

Great job with the trees. In the first photo it is a bit hard to see the details though.

A Great Camera for Macro Images
BrickCurve replied to JackJonespaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If you want a camera that takes decent macro images (a macro lens is not entirely necessary). If you are comfortable with buying a used camera than this-http://www.ebay.com/itm/Olympus-PEN-E-PL5-16-1-MP-SLR-Camera-Silver-Kit-w-M-Zuiko-Digital-II-/301804967344?hash=item4644fa55b0:g:TAMAAOSwI-BWL4EJ seems like a good deal to me. The interchangeable lens compacts, with the ability to upgrade your lens as your needs increase e.g. in a few years you could buy specialised macro lens but still keep the body and other lens. As for megapixels, I personally wouldn't go below 10 although more megapixels = larger file size. -
[The Frozen Beyond] Cat A: Teridyan Beacon
BrickCurve replied to BrickCurve's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks everyone! Thanks. The tan arches were the best I could find at short notice. I used most of my smaller arches in another build which I haven't taken apart yet. I really need to do some sorting . -
Contest! The Frozen Beyond, Results are in!
BrickCurve replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
My category A entry: Teridyan Beacon http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=117524 -
The Teridyan Beacon is situated near the bay of storms in eastern Mitgardia. Originally only a small signal beacon for the villages near the Bay of Storms, It was never really designed as a fort though a fort it has become. With the Algus wolf riders closing in on the area, it is one of the few even slightly fortified structures near the bay. Hopefully this doesn't encroach on anything anyone has already built. I will also enter this in the CCC XIII.

The building is excellent although some of the landscaping could use a bit more detail, particularly the green patch. Overall, good job.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
BrickCurve replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Has anyone built anything significant near the city of Teridyan? I am hoping my entry to the Frozen Beyond contest ( not on eurobricks yet- ) doesn't encroach on anything anyone has already built. -

Which Australian LEGO conventions have big train layouts?
BrickCurve replied to SteveB's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I would recommend Brickvention on in Melbourne in early January. ( http://www.brickventures.org.au ) M>LTC usually have a large display there ( http://mltc.org.au/?page_id=2 ).- 2 replies

Entry in the miscellaneous small creation category of CCC XIII This may end up being part of a series were I make a small MOC featuring a part of each of the four Guilds.

That would do it! No, the set was sealed. So it isn't a brick link seller having a joke.
-
I wonder how that happened in the factory.

Either a misprint or the arms are on backwards. Anyone else had this?

Wow, one of the most impressive mosaics I have ever seen.
