Darth Vader And Stormtrooper In Real 3D Lego Mosaic
BrickCurve replied to legosamigos's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice one! I have always liked 3D mosaics. Though I think some extra hight would really improve both sides of the mosaic, probably about two slopes worth would do the trick.- 5 replies

What great MOCs! I particularly like the first and last ones. -
Great job, I really like the path in the Mitgardian one. You should join Kaliphlin for book III...

Welcome! Your username is great! -
Out of curiosity, what are you using the data from the survey for?

Unless someone volunteers to pay for it, it would be best if there were a free option I think.

Great job, some vines on the stone wall section would really help to make it look a bit more natural. The tiled are for the pigs works really well in this setting, I am really surprised at that!

I agree, the colour scheme works really well. It would help to show the MOC to its full potential if you worked a bit more on the lighting in your MOC photography, have a play around and see what works.

Such a map would be excellent to have! Though you are right, it would be really hard to actually create. At this point the best thing to do is to see if anyone in GoH has any knowhow with the google maps API, which would be a big first step so they could guide whats possible and not possible in attempting to create something like this. I think using an English based site is the only realistic way as GoH members are predominately English speakers.

Looks good, I particularly like the one on the left.

Thanks, its interesting, the deer has actually been the most popular part of the whole model!

The University of Petraea's Doctorate of Historica Program
BrickCurve replied to NiceMarmot's topic in Guilds of Historica
Gideon actually suggested my adding the animal credit so there is a +1 already from him, I will wait and see for the other two, if I can't get the credit for that MOC, I intend to use the deer design in another MOC anyway.- 343 replies

I forgot to add a Brick built animal credit to my coming of spring build ( http://www.eurobrick...26#entry2597451 ) Is that credit OK to add now?- 343 replies

Thanks! I should have remembered to include the deer! I will post something in the UoP thread.

The link are working for me. I recommend signing up for Flickr, it is much simpler for people to view your images on there. Looks good, thats a a lot of mini figures! Adding a solid colour background would really improve the photos though, and make the background less distracting.

retrotaco's Taco Trading Stand
BrickCurve replied to retrotaco's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hmm, I am interested in the 2 cyclops figures and may have some of the ones you are after. Which country are you in? -
In my opinion a lot of the themes are disappointing (from a castle MOCers perspective) though the sets like big ben make up for it in a big way.
-
Looks great! I second the query about the interior.

Nice touch with the torches. Adding a cleaner, more uniform background would greatly improve the photo quality.

Help finding an old Lego booklet? Please
BrickCurve replied to Lego_Minon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have had quick look through Brick set with no luck. There is a 'Lego collectors guide' book that covers a large array of the older sets, it might have it in it. Try Amazon for that book.Good luck in your search! -

Thanks, thats really nice to see. -
If a model that size is not glued or not built with a steel frame, it sort of is asking for trouble.
