  1. Hey there blitz, these wheel covers are sprockets designed for tracked vehicles. You can pick some up here: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=57519&idColor=11#T=C&C=11
  2. Yeah there are certain places that could have been done better but it does look like they modelled the front fairly accurately.
  3. Is anyone planning on doing the elevator module? If I have the time I might see what I can do on LDD
  4. Saw this on Flickr this morning, those geometries are sick! Awesome stuff
  5. The quite recent bucket wheel excavator would serve as an awesome GBC!
  6. With all these advancements in the gear selector mechanism it makes me doubt that this is rc. But then again you never know
  7. Yeah that's what I thought as well but it wouldn't be inconceivable
  8. Just having a stab in the dark here, but do you think it is possible that there is like a 'brain' to this car similar to the rc unit but with motors built in? Just a thought as it looks like the steering is routed through to the back and that would explain the stiffened suspension in the rear
  9. Not sure if it's been mentioned but check out those rims, it doesn't look perfect but the hubs look as though they are sitting much further in. Making the steering pivot a lot better! I shall have to start saving
  10. What an awesome weekend! I displayed the spirograph at the annual Brickvention in Melbourne, Australia. It completed over 200 prints for the kids (and adults) to take home. Someone though gave me a new idea for an attachment and I whipped it up this morning. What I have done is added another turntable (to the boards one) that is offset and rotates independently. This causes the boards central point to continuously change. It is now capable of some much more complicated drawings. Anyway here are some photos:
  11. Awesome! I love those mosaics that use the cheeseblock pieces
  12. G'day ex welcome to Eurobricks! To add 4x4 capabilities to this great set, the front end needs to be reworked. The parts that you need are CV joints (the grey parts in the rear suspension) and another differential. If you want to do serious off roading though a much heavier duty solition would be needed. Have fun and ask more questions if needed! Jeppo
  13. Glad you liked it! These a perfect for the festive season, especially to make cards. The next step is to make instructions for the additional attachments and larger board
  14. Wow that is stunning! I like this front much better than the previous version. Good job!
  15. One thing I do is make sure none of the little dots show on liftarms where they have broken off of the mold from.
  16. The LDD file is now finished and is now pending approval on Rebrickable. The only part that is required that isn't listed is your choice of battery box, pen and paper. What I do is fold on A4 sheet into quarters then just place that on the bed, that way it provides a nice cushion for the pen. I use a staedtler triplus fineliner which in my opinion creates excellent results. Anyway enjoy! Spirograph.lxf
  17. Well done and awesome presentation! Loving the colour combo and how cool the xls look in the back. I have to get back into the trial truck groove!
  18. Thank you! I do love all of your mechanism as well! Anyway after a night of work here is the progress on the LDD file:
  19. Definitely, the day I shot the teaser it was perfect! Not this one! I'll need to divert my attention from this and build some more modules! Yeah ! noticed that as well. However an easier way to overcome this is to just fold an A4 sheet of paper into quarters, that way it is nice and thick and provides a cushion to the top most 'canvas' I realised after I shot the video that I didn't include the all important belly shot! Will get around to it Thanks! I'll start work on the LDD later today maybe
  20. How about we all get back on topic here ay?
  21. Cheers! I was suprised myself at how easily it worked Thanks! I might have to make some for Eurobrickers Yes I am, but only an LDD file for now. Might get me into CAD. Thanks and yes, I had a lot of fun making the teaser video. If you look closely to the left above the spirograph you can see a large sea snail/ sea star moving along at its slow pace!
  22. After seeing PG5200's spirographs a couple of years ago and being completely blown away I knew I had to make my own. It was not until some months ago where I realised how it worked and set about making my own. Mine has 6 speed gearboxes on each arm to increase the variations in patterns. Whilst the exterior looks similar internally mine is very different. You could say that it is 'upside down' compared to Pg's as his outputs for the gearboxes are where my inputs are if that makes sense. I did two videos for it, one describing the functions and the other with it looking cool! As seen in the video I have made various attachments for it, one to turn it into A5 size, and the other to create significantly different patterns. Thanks for watching!
  23. I really just love the bottom view of this!
  24. Wow completely missed this thread Really cool creation, and quite fast for its size Will have to build my own!
