  1. Oh now I see why you would assume that. Your source is from fan-fiction wiki page, meaning that all that information is not entirely true, or not confirmed canon. Like I said Before, I do not think they were part of the Muunilist 10 as they were already comanders by the start of the Clone Wars. Try using wookiepedia as your main source of info
  2. True. Oh yes, I forgot they were called the Muunilist 10. And I did not find any information on those names pertaining to these clones. Those were all names of commanders in the clone wars, and they all survived well unto order 66. What was your source of this? I feel they were already commanders when the war started, and that would conflict with them being part of the Muunilist 10.
  3. Great job yet again. you rule the LEGO world with UCS sets
  4. I always loved this logo, as well as the one that came out for epidsode I.(as you can see iI made one myself v) Either it's nostalgia that makes me love it, or its really that good. Too bad they never kept it on the boxes(other than the 30th anniversery), they started using the same logo the whole Star Wars franchise is using. Is it me, or is the older box art better too? I always liked the back of the box featuring the model in some type of hangar halfway disassembled.
  5. Awesome video! I do not think I have the patience for stop motion. That was very entertaining
  6. That's what I thought it was! but that's something I wouldn't want in my room
  7. This is really great, Again! one thing though, What the hell is that freaky thing in the background!?
  8. Thanks! Though I cannot take all the credit, as I have based mine on another MOC by Mike Psaiki I am happy to make you happy Hallonsylt! Glad you like it. I have not filled this up with troops yet, only the 7 clones I have made for Fordo's squad. But I think it could hold atleast 12 troopers the way the plates are set up now. It would be difficult to get any studs where I had SNOTed. Thank you. These are actually arc troopers from Captain Fordo's squad (red one). Other than that, I have not given names to them, that would be kind of wierd
  9. Thanks everyone for the kind comments! I have it on DVD! PLus I am pretty sure you can find it on youtube. I edited the post with pictures of Arc Troopers in it. Glad I can stir up some old memories! Tartakovski's work is Brilliant! Thanks Anio! I am not to crazy about the bubbles either. Even though the real ship has bubbles, LEGOs are just not perfectly round, but they do a fair representation. I could do brick built similar to Mike's, but then I would be using more ideas from his MOC... The nice thing about this Gunship is that your eyes will always look at something else before the bubbles I would love to see your attempt at a gunship!
  10. Hello Eurobricks! I present to you, my newest, possible UCS, MOC. I would like to point out that the republic gunship is one of my favorite vehicles in the Star Wars Universe, especially the most iconic one during the Clone Wars. Though one variant of the ship sticks out, and that is the Arc Gunship. This ship features blue wings and stripes along the body of the ship, but the most striking feature is the fearsome Rancor face on the front. MOCPages Gallery: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/416854 The Build: First off, let me say how awesome Mike Psiaki's rendition of the ship was. I drew a lot of inspiration and design from his Gunship. I initially is . After awhile I then realized I could not put the rancor's face on the way it should, so I modified the front. As well as changing other various parts of the ship to make it more of my own. changes including: the cockpit/canopy, troop deck, side doors, rear ramp, and the wings. With some of these mods, I was forced to add some transparent technic beams for support and rigidity. Unfortunately this cuts into the build, but was needed. Features: The Gunship sports the customized Arc variant color scheme, based off the same Arc Gunship from Genndy Tartakovsky's 'Clone Wars' cartoon . The face of the ship, striping along the side and the wings, are custom decals, made by me. There is a full sized rear folding ramp, which can fit two speeder bikes. Rotating missile loader. Liftable handle, for take off. and Last but not least, Side sliding doors, which can be opened simultaneously (When one opens, the other opens with it). Arc Troopers
  11. Not sure if anyone had seen this yet, But here is a Purist Voolvif Monn I had made a few years ago.
  12. Even though most of its an inspired MOD, it is still really good. Did you change the legs to make them more spaced out, to fit that extra toe? or are they just bent further apart?
  13. This is looking great. The AT-ST is the hardest Star Wars "vehicle" to capture, as there are different source material, and hard to saw what one should really look like. My AT-ST is slightly less bulkier than yours, and I am using ball joints on the knees and on the hips. These actually hold pretty well. What I find with Two-legged walkers (or atleast mine), is that they are limited in posing. Here is my WIP of my AT-ST. Here are the ball joints I used The AT-ST has a lot of articulation, but it is also very top heavy, making it difficult to balnce. What would seem like endless possibilites of posing turning into only limited stances. This is why LEGO makes their models so stiff. For the AT-ST to be perfect, LEGO needs to make smaller high-friction hinges. But I guess that is the challenge we face, and can only make our models look greater when we overcome these challenges.
  14. I am not As familiar with the Old Republic game, So I am biased to pick the other two. I have the AT-AT, and it is a fantastic model, LEGOs best version of it. I do not own the Star Destroyer, but that ship has a lot of great features, compared to the Jedi Defender. Ask yourself some questions. Do you want a ground vehicle, or you want a flying ship? Which is more memorable to you? in other words, which will make you happy in the long run? how much can you really afford? Everyones got different tastes. If you really like the jedi Defender, then go for it, because I am sure LEGO will never have another incarnation of it, the other two are already on the 2nd and 4th incarnation of it, and in a few years or more will be more than likely released again...and again. (Though there is a great MOC by khatmorg, you can build, which I believe looks way better than LEGOs http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=82668)
  15. Very good. From what I remember from the ride, it looks spot on. Also, I would like to add, how disapointed I am with Disney for coming up with what I believe to be an ugly design for a ship, to be present in our beloved Star Wars universe. But I guess It is a ride first, before a spaceship..
  16. Wow this is amazing, one of the best Snow speeders I have seen, if not THE Best! Able to capture the shape, by using a completely different technique. This has come a long, long way. From where you started, I was not to sure of it. But this really turned out great. Though i know some credit goes to Larry Lars' for his front sloping, but mashing it with your own technique, is more impressive, as well as the heat sinks. I also like how you built the canopy using the newer windscreens, much better than your initial one. Very smooth model. Just like the real one. One question. How durable is it?
  17. Are they coming out with a new one?
  18. Wow, This has come a long way and it looks great compared to your initial start. I Like it much better with 4x1 slopes. I also prefer the clean white look. Atleast on the edges of the model, Maybe change some inner pieces gray instead? I just don't think the slopes look right in gray.
  19. Could you please atleast share with us what you have already had done, Not something you have plans on doing. Sharing projects that have been started are a lot easier for us to give you feedback. That way we can understand your approach and give you proper input. ..Because the only advice I can provide is to make sure it looks like this... There are plenty of sources to help you get a start, even the UCS Grievous Lego made a few years ago might help. I look forward to what you have coming, as Grievous Is one of my favorite Villians!
  20. I always see this topic popping back up to the top and I haven't commented on this yet. You really improved this model by using SNOT and filing in all the holes! It's just so smooth, I can't decide what I like most about it because it is all Great. Detail and All! I did similar Mods to mine as well, like widening the the front and back 2 studs, as well as adding interior and able to fit 3 people in the cockpit! The Visor/viewport is also Brilliant. I believe your head MOC has to be the most fantastic rendtion in system scale on the internet! It's such an odd shape, with even more odd proportions. Great Job!
  21. I feel like a lot of the older sets could get cut some slack. Original Sith Infiltrator was very blocky, but for 1999, that was usual, as a lot of curved bricks did not exist. I very much did not care for the original podracer, because its boring when you don't have another podracer to race against , and where does one fit in with the rest of the battle vehicles??? This does not make it the worst set, maybe the most boring. Atleast the Infiltrator had some guns and a lightsaber. Second Infiltrator was just plain bad for 2006 model. The one I think is the worst though is the 7260 Wookie Catarmaran. Way too big, barely similar to the actual model, also had like 5 seconds of screen time, and is one of the least recognizable ship in the entire movie, worst of all, it was overpriced. The only good thing in the set was the swamp speeder, cloner troopers, and Luminara (give or take) This set could have been smaller, I guess the only reason they made it was to complete a battle of kashykk with the other sets..
  22. Even though I think the 6 stud plate is more proportional compared to 8. I do not totally hate the way this looks
  23. Even though this isn't all lego, This still looks nice. The cardboard texture seems to match the buildings, and the blue sky contrasts the tan/brown, makes it appealing. Great Photograph! Also great alternative instead of bricks
  24. These are great improvements over its predessesor's, both by look and playability. Here are some major differences between the two models that I look at. The new AT-AT looks way better compared to the old one, more sturdy, and the troop hatch operates better compared to the old one. The gunship offers a better shape, as well as different play features (side turrets, loss of the secendary doors, no bacta), but comes with a handle! Of course the new ones will be better in some if not all areas. If you have the money, I would recomend getting them. I don't think the new ones could replace the old ones for spare parts, because they still stack up well to the new ones, plus allows your army to grow. IF NOT, Save it for a set you don't have, and maybe update your ships, since you have 75% of the pieces already there. I don't have the new Gunship, but I updated mine to be similar to the new one, keeping some of the features of the old one, while giving me the option to revert between Clone Wars style and Standard. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/387743
  25. These may be the correct sizes already, but incase not. Copy and paste these images into a vector program (illustrator, gimp, paint(paint will decrease quality of these)) otherwise, I THINK Microsoft Word is an alternative method. Meanwhile, Take a tape measure and measure the Height( 4 studs) or Width (6 studs) of any brick plates for referance. I do not know the exact sizes of these off the top of my head. Then adjust sizes accordingly, All I can say is trial and error for prinitng and good luck.
