  1. I think he meant the Psicrown. Lind's worst nightmare (possibly) becoming reality.
  2. Oh, Paul? Seeing as how you're getting a lot of free Mafia Schooling, without it even being in session, here's one more helpful little tidbit. Did you know the tracker can still see a killer target someone, even when the target is protected?
  3. Vote: The One Person That Successfully Avoided Notice Until Being Caught By The Alien Arm of The Law Diamond Dodd (CallMePie)
  4. You know - you're right. You did get "us" - e.g., the scum - 'back on track', by voting for a Townie.
  5. Actually, I kind of suspected him. His posts felt just in that area, although I never had any good reason to call him on it.
  6. A short time after the Marauder visited, a second figure slowly strode into the great chamber, and bowed before the great assembly. "..." "..." "...Do Ah know you?" "...Lind Whisperer? I...protected your wine?" "..." "...It was a while ago." "I assume from your visit - and those dragon wings - you have decided to join the Crescent Union?" "Yes, m'lady." "Then feel welcomed. I assume you are going to cast your vote, as to whom shall be king?" "Yes, m'lady." "For whom then, do you vote? Umbra, Jun, Altair - your fellow Hero Guts?" The Munchkin took a deep breathe. "No, m'lady." "Then who?" Lind then said one of the hardest things he'd ever have to say. "I...nominate myself." The entire court laughed. The Lady wiped tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry - Lind, I believe you said? - but even you should see why that would never work out. You're a...well..." "Ah running joke. Wi' a ba' acccent." "And even the few heroes that you haven't inexorably ticked off wouldn't think of voting for you - they'd vote for someone else, just for the brief humor of telling you that to your face. Why...why would you think - and I must apologize for my bluntness - why would you think this could ever work?" The Munchkin squared his shoulders. "...Because I'm the only one here, or that will come here, that specifically doesn't want to be a king. Everyone else - they want to be a king, they want to be the leader. All I want to do is lead, and clean this...battered world up. Every tyrant, every dictator ever - they wanted to be king. They wanted the power, the lux. I don't." The court was silent for a moment. "Even so, you've still made so many enemies, so many mistakes, that I must wonder..." The Munchkin dipped his head, then raised it again. "We've all made mistakes, M'lady. All one can do, is to keep trying to fight the good fight. If you lay down, you've lost. You'll never loose if you keep standing. You may not win...but you shan't loose." "Very well, then. Let it be recorded that Lind Whisperer nominates Lind Whisperer for the Crescent Union's nomination for King of Eubric."
  7. Rather tiredly, Lind wandered back into the silent Hall, only pausing to tack up a piece of paper on the board before slumping into a seat at the bar.
  8. They know the town, they don't know the PR roles. Seriously - this is basic stuff.
  9. Yeah, I get the feeling that Sungold got the Polishes(easily argued to be the more useful item) since they have the fewer members... Which makes sense, but the members that do join Sungold, are going to make a killing on those Polishes...
  10. ...Except that the TB - or members of it, at least - already knows the claims. The only thing a mass claim would do, is give the Scum an easier chance at killing the more important PRs. "Would you please tell us who the confirmed townies are, so scum doesn't even have to do the work of guessing who they are? Thanks, that'd be awesome. Ooh, and can you bring us all some lattes, too?"
  11. Why should we mass claim? That's basically giving the PRs to the scum with no perceivable benefits to the town. *ping**ping**ping**ping**ping**ping**ping**ping*
  12. Crescent Union, Shadeaux, Dragons, and Immortalis, Forever!...Man, my cheers are getting long...

  13. This is kind of interesting. On the one hand, Lind's very much a "technology is bad" sort of person, because he's afraid of a Class 2 extinction, brought on by too rapid technological advancement. But he's joining up with the side that promotes rapid technological advancement*. *Although this is justified by the fact that he's merely against technology out-pacing the people that create it, causing power shifts, mass destruction because of lack of preparedness, etc. He's just fine with normal technological advancement.
  14.
  15. Sorry - that knowledge is TB only.
  16. Near-Universal, people, Near-Universal...
  17. Everything is Epiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic! :cry_happy: Okay, that is just too cool. Too freakin' cool. :sweet:
  18. Too beautiful, on the sparks...
  19. Dr. Jordin Kare, Fire in the Sky, from the album To Touch the Stars.Lyrics, Link to Prometheus Music, where the song is downloadable as a free MP3
  20. "Prometheus they say brought god's fire down to man And we've caught it, tamed it, trained it since our history began Now we're going back to Heaven just to look Him in the eye And there's a thunder 'cross the land and a fire in the sky..."
  21. It's okay - having hosted...well, one quest, in Heroica, I get what it's like. *memories of a computer refusing to import models that should have imported just fine, forcing me to hand-make landscapes in LDD dance through my head* You've been doing awesome so far - seriously, give yourself a pat on the back.
  22. Awesome non-sucky Mafia player H i n c k l ey as in the Eurobricks Root Admin.#135 is...interesting.
