  1. No one's shutting down anything - if you have thoughts, share 'em. But don't expect that people won't dissect 'em.
  2. Vasquez, I believe - possibly one or two others.
  3. ...Then why force someone to do it?
  4. Wait, Ender died? I thought he went off, to live on a farm with other nice space Buggoid monstrosities! :cry_sad: :cry_sad: :cry_sad: :cry_sad: Told by the host. There's the difference. Clarification - the clothes switching was just a visual joke, and isn't a role, or it is a role, but it's a joke role? Mommy! The mean man is saying bad words! [Citation Needed]Unless you mean: Defended: 1, verb., to, after a long debate, eventually grudgingly admit that someone "probably isn't scum," while still maintaining the opinion of their "being totally incompetent" at their revealing their Mafia role.
  5. Rule 12, man, there are no clues in the pictures.
  6. Hey - clothes swapping is a very influential role. What if scum got a picture of you wearing my unmentionables? Or worse...if they caught me wearing your T-shirt!!!!!!! *oh2* *huh*
  7. I think he's talking about the chap that swapped your clothes with The Confusing Chicken. Or possibly the disgraceful, misogynistic soul that positively drenched me in copious amounts of...fruit bits.
  8. It may be a nice RP habit, depending on interpretation, but it's automatically assumed that expended throwing weapons are recovered after a battle.
  9. I vote based on who I suspect to be scum. And I don't let myself be bullied into changing my vote simply because "Yay! We get another lynch, and...oopsie! Another townie! Our bad!But hey, you know that guy that changed his vote at the last minute? We should totally lynch him today, 'cause changing your vote at the last minute is scummy!". I decide whom most pings me as likely being scum. And then I vote for them.
  10. I vote based solely on gut feeling, not because people want to hurry a bandwagon through.
  11. I'm voting for Laura because Claw, to me, seems too disorganized to be a scum - it feels like a second Wen wagon. If she was privy to the mythical scum writeboard, you'd think they'd at least help her somewhat with her story.WIFOM, but that's what it feels like. I specifically put I first in the noun order because of the fact that the vote was based off of my gut feeling, and followed it with Seamus because the feeling had been given additional support by his post, but it was still my internal feelings that were fueling it. Grammar rules and order are to be followed, however a break from them specifically to add emphasis is acceptable, provided breaks are only used for emphasis.
  12. Vote: for Laura Starbucks (Tariq j) For reasons I and Hinckley have already stated.
  13. Your posts have trended towards fluff, repeats, and stating obvious facts everyone already knows*, and your post hinted that we 'have no idea just how big the scum-team might be**,' subtly suggesting a large scum crowd - something that, could have been posted to nudge us towards a state of paranoia/concern over the topic/concept, keeping us from focusing on important matters***.*Or should have learned before Day One was over. **Not a direct quote, wording has been slightly changed to make the point more obvious. ***Fill in your own blank as to what would be "more important matters."
  14. And you have a funny habit of "rambling on quite a bit, but then she you never hasve anything to say".
  15. It clearly means that the young Barbarian wishes the party to indulge in Potions of Rapid Aging. And they are very delicious things, too, but with the unfortunate downside of rendering one's face somewhat furrowed. Apparently you missed the part where Annie's 19. With lady elves, you take the number, and multiply by a hundred.
  16. I suppose could see myself seconding a vote on Bock. From what I've seen, being quiet is sort of his playing style - but like 4 of 2 said, that doesn't aid town at all. I think though, Hinckley made a very good point earlier that we should all take a second look at: "...there isn't much analysis here..."/"...there's much to analyse..."To me, that just screams copying from a Whiteboard and changing it to seem original.
  17. ^This. And he can sell them on credit, to poor but zealous young heroes.
  18. *ping* "Hey, everyone! Let's try and subtly imply there are a lot of scum out there, and make town nervous!" *ping* It's nothing I haven't revealed already. Also, I'm not positive if we're allowed to quote Mafiascum.wiki, but read the second sentence of the description for Universal Backup. The fact that back-ups inherit automatically isn't some big secret... EDIT:
  19. No, I inherit whoever dies first. When/where did I suggest/imply/think anything else?
  20. I need to take care of some things in real life before I can respond to everything else, but: Actually, this is "best-case" scenario if I was scum. If I was scum, and I was faking protector, I have no control over any possible SKs. If they attacked, I couldn't fake protection, or prevent them from killing. (Same for vig.)(I suppose, in such a case, I could try and claim that there had been a scum re-director, but it would be a flimsy defense at best.
  21. Yes...If we knew who they are, which we don't. Read the post, soldier. If I was a Godfather, there's no good way for me to be a barometer long-term - there's at least one role I can inherit that I couldn't fake - and that goes quadruple for having everyone watching me suspiciously. If I was claiming back-up vig, it would be a good way for me to hide as a Godfather, but I'm not. Because if the barometer thing was going to work, it was easier to share it now, in public, than to try and convince people through PMs. If the investigator investigated me, and got a Loyal reading, the immediate first suspicions would have been that I was a Godfather, and I'd have had to explain my way through that mess. It was just better to reveal it to the whole town early on, then to try and wade through that sort of mess. ^
  22. Because I specifically asked if I'd inherited any Roles. And I haven't.
  23. Yes, claim to the person I have feared and suspect/ed to be a Godfather. Brilliant suggestion. Yeah, and if I don't have anyone to claim to, it doesn't matter if I can catch liars or not, because I have no way of calling them out.
  24. I would like to thank you, though, Rip, for such a strong attack on me. If you hadn't done that, I wouldn't have gone over your posts. And I wouldn't have noticed that they are about 99% fluff. Fluff first post, means very little. Obvious statements are obvious. "Can I get a fluffy obvious, y'all?" A bit of fluffy humor, and making sure not to tie himself down to anything. Fluff.
