I just finished building the Hypno Cruiser, after having drooled over it for years...only to realize that it was one of my silliest purchases ever. It's not that it's a bad set, it's quite a nice set, really, it just...really requires a full collection of '92 to '97 LEGO sets to truly enjoy it. I honestly think, looking at it, that the Time Cruisers really should have their own video game - whether through fan-made efforts or the ridiculously unlikely chance of LEGO making one. It's the sort of set that's not terribly strong on its own, but yet would make the prefect centerpoint to a game...and the time traveling theme of the Time Cruisers lends itself perfectly to game creation.

I don't know how Bluerender is for nights, but I think that if I were doing individual frames, Blender might be the better choice. Once you have the scene made, it's the easiest thing to add as many different colored lights as are needed, wherever they're needed - and #122 takes place primarily at night. Delete the world sun, and you have perfect night.

It's all hypothetical at this point - I have such a ridiculous amount of all sorts of work(plus trying to run a mini Heroica-style-rules-system-RPG on another site ), but sure! I wonder if it'd be easier to just animate such a project in Blender...it'd certainly be cheaper than trying to collect all of those parts MISB - although not quite as "real"...Hmm...

Exactly what I was thinking. Someone should really try animating a whole length quest. Hmm... I don't have the time for it now, but would any of the players on it - and especially the QM - mind if I tried animating #122?* ** Seriously? *Or, rather, #122 with a few tiny changes in places...(mostly Lind's lines. ) **Also, might any of the players/QM be interested in theory in providing voice-overs for their characters? Give it that extra bit of authenticity?

Back in my days, we used to burn witches. Now, every third person's a witch, and you can't have a TV* show without a token one... *(What's the Heroica equivalent of TV? Have the Jei Pi invented that yet? Or are we still using palantír?)

250 Gold per Polish isn't cheap. It's not as expensive as it might be, but to anyone under 30, that's a pretty nice chunk of coin...

I'm debating hosting another one, and was seeing if anyone else was planning on it as well - also, the board's been dreadfully empty for quite some time now.

I was the Protector, as has already been posted. And protecting myself was an option, but I used it on our Investigator.
