Blacktron Mafia: Day 3, Spaceship Soldiers
Lind Whisperer replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The other investigations could have been scum, and the investigator hasn't shared that with Minga, or they could have been killed.- 331 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 3, Spaceship Soldiers
Lind Whisperer replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That's not what I said. It's what you're not saying, or rather, the question you're avoiding. You said that it would be possible to 'verify me through actions'. I pointed out that that isn't possible - vig kills look like all others, an attempted conversion would look like a doctoring/investigating to a Tracker/Watcher. Suggesting that I could be verified that way, is bad logic. And you are too good of a player to not realize that, which makes your suggesting it look highly scummy.- 331 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 3, Spaceship Soldiers

For obvious reasons, I'm going to leave it ambiguous as to whether I I became Thanos a PR last night, or if I'm still just a boring back-up, but I can assure you that yes, our Investigator is still among us, alive and well. Nope. I took a Third Option. I like those. Well, let's see. "Below," as in below normal performance, "game-grade," as in normal Mafia skills, so I mean you're performing below your normal Mafia skills. Almost as if you're trying to quickly wrap up the game... No, I think that your using bad logic and refusing to respond to my pointing out the problems with your suggestion is your playing below your game-grade.- 331 replies

Didn't say she was, I said she made a n00b post. Big difference. Effectively, you are. As a rule, people trust you. Whether or not they should is another question, but unfortunately, they do. No, you take the time to read. If I pulled vig, there would be no difference in what I did. And if I pull any other role, then we get into the endless "ooh, what about if he's a Mafia __fill in the blank____?".- 331 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 3, Spaceship Soldiers
Lind Whisperer replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
As am I. No, you're not over-reacting, you're gently nudging the bandwagon along. What happened was that Minga made a n00b mistake, and I'm fairly certain you, in the role of the 'calm, wise, benevolent town leader,' are going to lead everyone into lynching her for it. Take the time to actually read posts, before you try and get a lynch mob going. -t. ...Verify it how, exactly? There's no difference between a vig kill, scum kill, and a serial kill. *ping* *ping* *ping* (Vig being given as an example, the principle of it holds true for all other roles that I can think of at the moment.)- 331 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 3, Spaceship Soldiers
Lind Whisperer replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Okay, this prank role business is getting off track. They are separate from the game, people. Minga, it sounds like DLL was trying to be amenable to your wishes and enhance the fun, it's turning into something it wasn't meant to be. It doesn't prove or disprove anything about alignment.- 331 replies

Because I was trying to emphasize my point. And said quotes were typically from right above the post, and were changed to the point where it was clearly obvious they'd been changed. Waaaaa-? I haven't talked about the godfather role because the topic hasn't come up. I talked like that because I try and lay all possible outcomes out on the table. The way you're attacking me in this post suggests that you're feeling more confident...- 331 replies

I will cease, apologies. I didn't say I didn't, I've had a large portion of RL things to deal with, and I was focusing primarily on Laura. No argument. I was merely noting that the similarities about the analysis line apparently were just that - meaningless similarities.- 331 replies

*ping*I need to go over yesterday to see what else he posted, but at least a portion of Paul's scummy-ness came from a suspiciously similar message - and the person with the other portion of the message turned up Loyal, suggesting Paul may be as well. Also, someone analyze the last two bandwagons, and who were the primary drivers - that post of Seamus's feels a lot like scum trying to lead the town. Seamus's a good enough player that you'd think he wouldn't do something like that...but he knows we know he's such a good player that he wouldn't likely try that, so he might still try it. WIFOM, WIFOM, someone go over it, please.- 331 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 3, Spaceship Soldiers
Lind Whisperer replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Where the heck did that come from? Laura certainly wouldn't have been protected, multiple people assumed she was scum. Major Dave was barely posting, and Vasquez was barely contributing as much as Major Dave was. Like I said, and I can dig up the quote, Claw was acting too stupidly to be scum. If he'd been scum, they'd have talked him through his conversation with Seamus at least a little. He was floundering too much to be scum.- 331 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 2, Space Oddity
Lind Whisperer replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry, I got confused. Okay, going over everything*, here's what I think Zip's trying to say: A person, claiming to be the tracker, contacted Zip, and said that he wanted to share the result on the person he'd tracked the night before, who in recounting Zip dubbed "the make-up artist". The confusion about two roles came from Zip's unique style of posting causing people to confuse the ambiguously referenced "tracker" with the "make-up artist," and unintentionally mentally create a third person. *Including a PM conversation I had earlier with Zip on a tangentially related subject.- 256 replies

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the only person that could target two people be a re-director?(Possibly also Shape-Shifter, depending on how that role works...)- 256 replies
