  1. It's supposed to be, but it's easy to miss ships for this list. If there is a ship you think is missing from the list, or that shouldn't be on it, let me know.
  2. Both versions of the build are nice. I like the theme for a merrynight build. Posing the horses' heads down is very realistic; I can just imaging this scene in motion in my mind. Well done. And in the MOC's former life, the posing of the samurai is very good. Great use of disjointing the one arm for the pose.
  3. Fascinating! I had no idea such a thing as a shot tower existed. Good job with the architectural details of your tower, especially the shutters. Nice build!
  4. Incredible design and build! Very impressive! So much to like. It has a very polished feel, with the color scheme and ornate touches. Good write-up to go with it, too! And thanks for sharing some of the inner workings of the hull build.
  5. Thanks to everyone for the comments and feedback! Thanks! Wanting to try out this roof technique was the main reason for the build. Ah, so embarrassing! I could say that there's a short chimney on the back side of the roof, and you just can't see it, or I could say I was trying to decide between a couple of different approaches for it and somehow forgot about it entirely as I finished the roof! Thanks for noticing the irregular base! And getting the interior lighting for the photo was tough. Thanks! I think you are all correct -- too many colors in the roof. I'm already planning a more sedate version for a future build. But experimenting with this roof was the goal, so I learned a lot. Thanks! I was very happy with the feel of the build for a smithy. I'm curious -- is it apparent I used a light brick to illuminate the forge? I think it can be seen in the first photo, but isn't all that clear in the second photo. I was happy with how that turned out in person, but I'm not sure it came through in the photos. Thanks again for all the comments! This was an enjoyable little build, and I pan on using the roof technique again.
  6. A native swordsmith for Salida Este.
  7. Not all the development in Salida Este is happening in "New Town" -- the increased activity is having an effect all over town. Outside the new city gate, Suharto, a native craftsman, has set up shop. Soldiers stationed on Ferro Azure for the past couple of years have discovered the skills of some of the locals smiths. Suharto has had a steady flow of Eslandolan soldiers to his smithy seeking his sword-making skills. Now Suharto has set up shop near the new city gate to be closer to his customers. Here we see another happy customer admiring his new sword. Suharto's pet, Tiger, also appears to be admiring his handiwork (or maybe he's just dreaming of what he'd do if he were a "big" cat ). --- A small artisan for Salida Este. All C&C welcome.
  8. I really love the look of this build. Great use of those balloon pieces for the onion domes, and wonderful use of light yellow. I really wish I had more bricks in these pastel colors. Salida Este's "New Town" section definitely has a flair.
  9. Stunning work. Beautiful. I don't know what else I can add to the other comments.
  10. I missed this earlier. Lovely seasonal scene, great bushes! Thanks for sharing the technique.
  11. Hmm… That might come in useful! Yes, definitely! Microships are cool! I thought you were just asking about licensing.
  12. You can't license a microbuild ship unless you win the right to do so in a challenge or such.
  13. Fun builds! Merry Christmas everyone!
  14. Actually, that's not true. ESL does not abdicate its foreign relations to the TCs, it just has to take them into consideration in all diplomatic relations. The actions of a rogue TC would require a faction response.
  15. Great concept, and the bright colors look great. I love those trees. And I'm fascinated with the partial frame with the terrain spilling out on the left. A cool touch!
  16. FYI, they won't be automatically attacked. Ships choosing the option to attack SR ships in those zones will attempt to attack the Narwhal. An intercept is not guaranteed. but you are correct that there is risk associated with moving ships in the MRCA for any purpose. Personally, I'd like to see the ships moved via the MRCA, with outside interference possible, but if the training raid happens, then results would be administered accordingly (paint instead of cannonballs) in the course of normal MRCA resolution.
  17. Great concept. I love it! Very piratey.
  18. Bluebeard escaped on a small sloop while his larger ships and much of his crew were captured. Now, the pirate Montroy was captured by Corries who made port in Calisto, but we've received no word on what has happened there...
  19. Wonderful build. I really like the texture you've created on the ground, and the SNOT bricks along the edges of the base to help with the elevation. Also, great job with the round bricks of the roof meeting at an angle!
  20. Wonderful courthouse! A very period feel! With lots of detail and texture (the brickbuilt doors, the relief sculptures above the judges, the use of the narrow columns in a couple of different places, and nice use of the crate piece for the main desk). And glad to see that you're dealing with the pirate crews even though you didn't catch Bluebeard himself.
  21. Very nice! Good shaping of the hull, and you've done a nice job of detailing while working only in black, white, and gray. She looks like a swift little vessel well-suited to piracy.
  22. I appreciate your reasoning and request. That said, the KPA was published a week ago, AMRCA results were out long before that, and I had others who were telling me the deadline wasn't soon enough. It'll be four weeks between the December KPA and the January deadline, and we've tried to make it no more than 3 weeks in the past. And we generally have always wanted the MRCAs to have early monthly deadlines. So, I'm sticking with January 8.
  23. Another excellent build from you, both with the structure/landscape and the posing of figs! Two details I like: the studs on the side of the stone foundation, and the round quarter-circle tiles used in the framing of the walls. The pineapple plants are also well done.
