  1. It's a whole lot better, yes. Also, don't be afraid to add cracks in the street (if you can) along with bricks falling out of the building. Also, rebar effects in the building can be quite nice as well. And for next time, hide the brown plate for both floors. Overall, it's not bad. I plan on making some Post-Apocalyptic style MOC's some time next month based of Fallout and some of my own Post-Apocalyptic theme as well.
  2. Okay, thanks, I'll look through there.
  3. I was looking through Flickr and I saw these minifigs. They look awesome and I fell the need to ask - Which seller has those cloth jackets? These would come in handy for my future Post-Apocalypse MOC's but I can't seem to find those cloth jackets/capes anywhere online. Anyone know where I can get some like those?
  4. Markus should consider joining a guild, especially Kaliphlin because we're awesome! I should also mention, the pose for the Orc with the Crossbow is awesome! What set did you get the torso and legs for him?
  5. Awesome MOC, vitreolum! I love the door design!
  6. Considering I still have much to learn, I thought I should ask - Will there ever be a signature generator for GoH like how there is one for the Star Wars section? That way we can keep our sig-figs organized with users? Of course you can put your sig-fig's picture for it, maybe add your guild's flag, give it a border, and maybe a little description for your sig-fig or name spot?
  7. I'm not sure what to call this but it looks awesome and I love the base concept of it!
  8. Hey, I'm a Fallout fan myself! As for the MOC, it could definitely be better. The building should be one single color, mostly the dark gray, to give it an old and run-down feel. Also, don't be afraid to use cheese slopes of the same building color to make parts where parts of the building fell out. A perfect example of a Fallout MOC I can show you is this. Notice how the buildings, street, and environment are? Lots of gray, brown, and tan are good with Fallout MOC's. You're on the right track but look at other references for particular details in you need to.
  9. I agree. If you have a limited collection, you should consider buying more sets or buying parts from BrickLink.
  10. I can definitely make your sig-fig and add him to some of my future builds, with your permission of course. But like I've said a few weeks ago - I only like using the fleshied minifigs. So, would this head do? Or this one? Anyone else?
  11. I think the Lord of the Rings should get a reboot. There are plenty of important events and minifigs that need to be made. And more Uruk Hai and Orc stuff!
  12. Awesome little MOC, I love the trees!
  13. I have the same problem when it comes to MOC'ing as well. It might be because I don't have a large LEGO collection and I hardly have good ideas that I can build that I invision.
  14. Awesome creature and MOC!
  15. I can definitely help with builds next month seeing as how I'll be getting parts by the end of this month. But it'll depend on what I'll have to make. Which reminds me, if you guys can PM me the links to the parts for your sig-figs, I can incorporate them into the builds if I can get them from BrickLink. So if you use a yellow head, let me know what head you'd want to use that's fleshy skinned.
  16. The only times I feel like building is when I'm just bored or get some new parts to use, then I'll begin to build things. Considering I have quite the small collection, I hardly want to build. But when I get my BrickLink orders in and get my hands on new parts, I'll try to do my best to get two builds up each week, depending on whether I'm busy or not.
  17. When can we expect the next challenge for Book II, out of curiosity?
  18. Awesome little MOC! In what sets did you get those torsos and the legs for the one knight in the back?
  19. Nice MOC and the shattered window and jet-pack effects are really cool!
  20. Nice MOC! The minifigs are great, the scenes are great, and I really do like the micro ships!
  21. Awesome first MOC, I love the foliage a lot because it makes the place seem more "uninhabited" and the water looks nice too!
  22. Welcome BrickCurve, it's great to have new members in the mighty Kaliphlin! Just be sure to give your sig-fig a name.
  23. Wow markus, this is just pure awesome! I love the minifigs, the "cockpit", the little gunner on the side, and especially the smokestacks that run on the coal there, that is a really good addition!
  24. Thanks for the store but now it seems like everyone will buy those parts now so I can't get my hands on them! Or am I just being too paranoid? EDIT: Also, for those of you whom are using yellow fleshed heads, what head would you use that is light fleshed? So I may incorporate you in some of my future builds!
