I wish I could get my hands one a lot of those sets but I live no where near Arizona.

What are some good minifig combinations using Uruk Hai parts?
Yzalirk replied to Yzalirk's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks MK! I may use both the Uruk Hai legs and the plain dark brown legs for GoH, since my original intention is to have them be wearing leather armor. Of course, with some BrickWarriors' armor too! -
Nice little scene.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
No, I'm from the United States. Some parts I'm looking to buy aren't in great bulks in the United States and some parts are mostly in Germany. I'd love to buy everything within the States but a lot of the stores aren't that great when it comes to a lot of pieces. It seems most United States stores on BrickLink have variety over quantity of pieces. Unless you know of some good stores that would make me think otherwise..! -
I agree that we should get those minifigs but don't forget Dorbon! I'd really like to have him as a minifig too!

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
I'll ask there then.... But that's the problem, I'll be ordering 30 minifigs and I'd like to see if they'd look better or now with the plain dark brown legs or not so I don't waste money that could have easily been put towards actual parts. And like I've said weeks ago, I'm on a budget of about $400 and I'll be ordering from the US to Germany, so it'll get quite expensive, sheesh. -

Nice little MOC, I'm just not liking the yellow grill there though. -

I understand what you mean, but I'm asking to see what it would look like. I'm deciding whether I just want the full Uruk Hai minifig or use them but with plain dark brown legs. That way, I'll get a better understanding as to how I'll make my future Kaliphlin sig-fig and troops. -
Those are some excellent pictures! Mind if you post some links for the things you use?

Alright, thanks MK. And can you do one more with plain dark brown legs compared with the regular one? -
Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sweet, it's always great to see people who want to join Kaliphlin! Just get your sig-fig up along with a description and you'll be an official member, at least that's what happened with me. Also, anyone know any good armor combinations for a "white" Elf race? I was thinking the BrickWarriors' Muscled Cuirass and the Spartan Helmet. Any other thoughts though? -

It's an interesting idea but it would be better if it had the colors of it's natural habitat. So a swamp with irregular colors could work. I mean, you don't want to have your mount looking like Barney now, would you? -

Alright, thanks. With plain brown legs and hip, right? -
Not bad, I really like the Orcs but you should work with minifig posing a bit more. It's hard to get the right poses for certain things, like the archer for example. Overall, it's quite nice!

Awesome banners and army.

Great work as usual, Gunman! I love the house and the fencing just looks awesome. You must really like this new technique I suppose.

Thank you guys, I'm glad you all liked the Part One of the story. It's not going to be very long, just the main points in Niro's life that stand out the most. About the parts in the build, I don't have lots of young looking faces but I found a replacement that could work for the next part. Also, the build isn't that big (UtilityBelt), the base is I believe either 16x16 or 17x17, so it's pretty small. But I assume you meant a picture of the build itself without minifigs? If so, I can't easily upload one in a little bit. I'm also glad everyone's liking the story! I know I can make it longer and a bit better but sometimes I just lose my thoughts when I add tons of details in my stories so I water it down just a bit so I can contain main thoughts I want in it. I've also been known to write some pretty gruesome stories but with an interesting kick, I just hope I can show it.

Just Starting to Use BrickLink - Question
Yzalirk replied to rockethead26's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I also have a few questions about BruckLink, if you don't mind me asking. 1.) Do you have to register an account? 2.) Is there are way that you can checkout your orders at once if you've ordered from multiple stores? -
