  1. It looks really good, nice job! You should think about joining Kaliphlin in GoH since this is basically like the style of Kaliphlin.
  2. I love it! It's very small but it definitely suits Ord Mantell a lot (in my opinion) and it's funny!
  3. It looks pretty good actionman, especially the cockpit!
  4. Looks good goatman! And there is so much orange minifig parts!
  5. Oh okay! I feel really dumb because I misread it, whoops! Also, since I'll be posting the story of Niro, should I do it in more than one topic or just one? And should it be called "The Story of Niro" (if one topic) or "The Story of Niro: The Beginning" (it it'll be in more than one topic) and will it count towards the free build?
  6. Love the makeover, DM! Out of curiosity, is your new sig-fig going to be more like a Gladiator, Roman, or Spartan? Your new sig-fig's name is making me think this!
  7. Awesome work and the roofs on both houses look good.
  8. Great MOC Venkefedo! With those story though, you should show what the characters are saying (like this: Character's Name: What should I say?) so it doesn't confuse the reader. Also with parts where it describes the setting or something, a part where no one is saying anything, put them in them in these [] brackets and italicize the words, and no bold in them too. Hope this helps.
  9. Okay, and as for my microscaled builds, they will be coming later. So far I'm starting from the beginning of the story, back when Niro was a child.
  10. Very nice but shouldn't the cockpit fully conceal him? And when did Benny get plastic surgery?
  11. I love Aliens and other supernatural phenomena but I think a wiser approach would have been with Grey's and using more light grey and silver. But there have been other reports of different Alien species from what people have reported, like a insect-type but more like a Praying Mantis, but this could work without a doubt. Great job!
  12. It's pretty cool but I'd imagine it should have a more Post-Apocalyptic look considering how the future looked like from one of the Terminator movies, all run down and almost like Resident Evil: Extinction without infected but terminators.
  13. Fantastic mother Xenomorph!
  14. I love Post-Apocalyptic MOC's and they hardly come around, good job mccoyed! Try adding more sand or foliage within the roads next time though, depending the type of area. This looks more desert-y so more sand and less dirt would have been more ideal. Vines are also good too use, especially the brown ones. Overall though it's not bad and I always love seeing Post-Apocalyptic MOC's no matter what since lots of them are hardly made it seem like.
  15. Thanks robuko! I've always loved telling fantasy stories but can never illustrate them as much. That's why I'm usually all post, no MOC. But I'll be trying to change that. Okay, but it's unfortunate that it's been raining all day by me and it's been dark and cloudy. I'll give that a good but last time I tried it, I didn't have too much luck with it.
  16. Thank you for the welcome, it seems odd since I've been here for almost a month though. The story of Niro won't be very long so prepare for another intro next month or so! As of lighting, I'll look at tutorials and try to make use of some of the lights I have.
  17. Nice finale, Nightstalker! And are those BrickForge parts I see?
  18. Alright. Well when the time comes, Niro's story and my future sig-fig's story will someone be connected and make for something... "interesting" then. That way it doesn't seem odd and make you guys confused. Niro's story will begin sometime this week as soon as I figure out how to take nice and crisp close-up pictures.
  19. Thanks guys, it only took a few minutes to think of him. Overall, he came out awesome and I like him a lot. But, like I said, he won't be my future sig-fig. Depending on how much you guys like him, he'll have a different fate. It's he's like a boring character, he'll just die. If he's an interesting character, something "odd" will happen to him. I'll try to add better lighting but my MOC's and vignettes but my Kodak EasyShare C140 is a pain to focus in with when I try to take close pictures.
  20. Yup, that's the set where the cloth came from!
  21. Looks great, Gunman, I like the frame around the door in the first picture and that staircase.
  22. Alright, I'll do that. I made my sig-fig but he's just going to be temporary. most likely, so once I have all the stuff I get from BrickLink, I'll be posting even longer and more detailed stories and MOC's. I'll still be doing some ones with Niro, but not as much.
  23. Not a bad idea to build 8x8 vignettes. It seems very tiny but I'm a bit more use to building smaller vignettes if it's focused on one certain thing.
  24. [Niro Goldwine, born in Kaliphlin, raised in The Siccus Badlands by a family of desert marauders whom killed traveling merchants and adventurers. He still lives there, but not as a marauder anymore. By the age of 9, soldiers and angry merchants from Barqa came down to The Siccus Badlands and slaughtered all adults and elders. Niro, and many other children, where taken back as slaves and sold to wealthy merchants or were recruited to local armies. Niro was one of the few to be recruited as a soldier because he was one of the sickly children that no merchant would buy. By the age of 18, he became of Lieutenant of Barqa's military for being taller than most other soldiers and his excellent fighting abilities with a sword. He was gifted a special battleaxe made from bronze called "Mercy" because the edges were sharper than any sword in Barqa and lighter than any battleaxe. One slash with the thing has been known to dismember the legs off of a Giant. Now at the age of 30, present day, he is still part of Barqa's military but as a Commander. He's defended the city from Bandits to Orcs and to Giants with his trusty battleaxe, Mercy.]
  25. Okay, apology accepted. I'll try to limit my posts that are questions to about maybe 5 a day, maybe less. I'll go take a look at Book I and read what happened.
