  1. I hate it when your right... As long as a battleaxe could kill it, then I won't go absolutely insane.
  2. I can't find the topic for the "Mount Up!" challenge, I need to know when it ends! I may be able to get a creature up next month if I still have time. Do any of you guys have one entered or are going to make one?
  3. Easy fix - shoot it in the eye or nose! Also, you jest!
  4. I know this because I do archery myself but it depends on the poundage of the bow, if you will, along with arrows. If you have say a bow with a drawback of 30 pounds, you might as well be using a peashooter against a Bison. Assuming most of of GoH use Recurve Bows and/or Longbows, you need really strong wood if you want them to be more effective. As for Crossbows, I have no experience with them but I'm assuming the stronger the "string" is along with the nut, it'll be deadlier because it's holding more tension. Bolts also matter too. A rifle can obviously kill a Bison no problem but there are no guns in GoH. And that leads me to say that Native Americans killed Bison using Longbows and spears. But they also led them to cliffs where they fell to there death. Anyways, I'm getting too carried away but I just hope this Bison isn't considered "Godly" in the sense arrows can't kill it...
  5. Alright thank you guys for the information! I just don't want to get ahead of myself and seem like a fool when I actually do get my builds up in the upcoming few months. I want a strong and prosperous civilization but maintain the "scary" aspect since mine will only be comprised of Orcs.
  6. Yes, but they can't take arrows. But if you shoot an arrow at things face, will it die? There's not way it can really thick hide on it's face.
  7. Awesome mount but I think you're getting a bit carried away when you said that it's protected from arrows because of it's thick fur and rough hide. It is about two studs wide, maybe put some armor of the thing?
  8. So you are a royal painter? Awesome idea and it can make you very wealthy in GoH! I have a question myself. I'm assuming all cities revolve around a particular skill set, can my city maybe be mastered in smithing (especially)? I also do like architecture, stone-working, woodworking, military, and wealth. So perhaps can mine be maybe good at all the skills, like a little empire? I like metalworking a lot for my concept in GoH but I'd love to choose all I listed.
  9. Awesome Steampunk MOC, I love it!
  10. About time! I look forward to see what you'll build for the challenge while the Rebels play footsie with each other...
  11. Welcome Siedna Ruadh, it's always great to have new members in Kaliphlin! I hope you enjoy being here and I can't wait to see what you can make! If you need help on building particular things, we'll gladly help out and share links to topics that have lots of examples to choose from.
  12. Awesome speedbike and it's clever you used parts from your AT-AT to build a few of them!
  13. It looks awesome, it's too bad you say it's fragile.
  14. That's a lot of pieces for a good deal! If I only I got that lucky... Alright, so could I still use Crossbows and Flamethrowers? Only at the cost of there being a few because having an entire army using them would seem unfair and granted, they aren't easy to make because of materials, time, and money. As for constructs, like "Robots", using magic would be ideal to bring them to life but the larger the construct is, the harder it is to grant it life. But I will be doing a storyline of how my sig-fig goes on a conquest to obtain a powerful relic when Gods roamed Historica and can grant life to anything when the "beam" hits it's target but has to be recharged over a certain ammount of time. And hopefully it'll somehow tie in with a future event for Kaliphlin or the entire GoH! It will be an interesting story and I guarantee that you guys will like it!
  15. It's looking great so far, narbilu, but try to not make that one island look rectangular. Make it seem more natural with a non-distinct shape.
  16. Wow, I feel honored! That's awesome, just try to fix it if you can.
  17. Steampunk is definitely in my top 3 favorite genres and these are just amazing minifigs, to say the least! And do those "brands" help for free, with those decals?
  18. Perhaps someone killed Boba Fett's messenger? But I did make mine have all dark blue except for the helmet and jet pack.
