  1. I was wondering if there could be an extension for the deadline? I plan to order some things after Christmas and I'm not confident they'll come before January 4th. So can it be pushed back to maybe the 10th or 15th?
  2. Nice build, vitreolum, your builds never cease to amaze me! But my only peeve with this build is that, assuming if it were to be in a complete room, it would be dark, yet there are no light sources so how would they see?
  3. You could say I have quite a strong ego but I refuse to vote myself as speaker as well. I'd like to hear from some people who believe they are best suited as the speaker here. So, Siegfried Dixon, Peter Rutherford, and Carol Nottingham, would you kindly?
  4. "You are betraying Isaac by lying to him. He must understand the truth and learn to deal with it. Vindsval, we must help him out and let him rest in peace. I know Jonathan hired us but the only way to figure out what happened to Isaac is to be honest to him. I don't want to deal with more conjured beasts as much as you do." "Now, Isaac, what exactly did your father sacrifice and why?"
  5. Present! I am Gerald Hatley and I'm a representative from Silver City, it's nice to meet you all. I wouldn't mind a drink, perhaps maybe some wine?
  6. "Was your father possessed by magic or his mind corrupted by demons? Either way, we'll see that there is justice for you even in the afterlife. No one should be deprived of life, even at a young age."
  7. "Be on the lookout, who knows what we'll find in here. And don't touch anything, I don't know much about diseases other than we could die. As long as we have each others' back, we should get through there no problem." Salt-Upon-Wounds follows Vindsval into The Rosalia Quarantine Room.
  8. Nice little build and the lowered snow part to show footprints was a nice touch.
  9. Nice build and it feels very creepy!
  10. As foolish as this may sound but I'm not sure whether you mean that in a good way or a bad way. I don't want people to get mad at me, but I'm sure it's happening anyway. I'll be reusing the armor for Science Fiction builds as well so that's part of the reason why I'm asking. I also plan to have it tie into what I'll be doing in the challenge as well. I also sent you a PM prior to reading your post as well and I did explain I'll be using a different helmet instead of the one in the picture as well as telling you I changed some plans for what I want to do with my new sig-fig for when I can get him up.
  11. There's one going to start soon, you could sign-up here. Hope this helps.
  12. "All I can think of is that mold spreads in areas like this - warm, damp, and humid. From what I've seen and read, mold typically grows near greenhouses, farms, and construction sights. Believe me, I can go on about locations but those are a few. But I'm curious to find out where the pipes lead since we know that because of the broken pipe and temperature of the room, that's what's causing the mold to grow."
  13. Very nice build, it's spectacular! And there's something about those windows I like a lot for some reason.
  14. I understand your point but when you say it's "a medieval world", there wouldn't be Elves, Dwarves, magic, creature, etc. It would just be men versus men. GoH is a fantasy realm mainly based on the medieval times, but it's a looser interpretation. But there still are boundaries and I understand that. I just want to have some really cool armor for my guys but not have it seem very extreme. What if I said that the city guard where to wear the armor? And the city guard is no more than about 100 soldiers [imaginatively]? I can't get separate armors because of a tight budget, unfortunately.
  15. In this picture, what color would you say the legs and arms are in? My guess is Dark Gray but it might be Dark Bluish Gray.
  16. I initially planned to do that but from what I've found on Bricklink, those minifigs are quite expensive. I think it was the Spartan minifig with the printed on armor that looks like abs is cool but they are kind of expensive too. I just feel like they seem "naked" without an actual armor piece because there's no bulk to match the helmet. I'll look again and try and find those torsos at a reasonable price. Also, I'll be using fleshy minifigs so certain parts just won't work, like the Roman legs from the CMF series.
  17. Nice build! I really like the shingles you did for the roof but the colors are a bit wacky, to be honest.
  18. Awesome creature! It looks awesome but I'm not really sure what a Myconid is.
  19. Trust me, I'll be thinking of ways to support the armors looks but present it in a reason way that it doesn't break the rules or lore for GoH. The reason I'm asking if this is appropriate is because of budget limitations and I like how the armor looks. But I want to present the use of it in a way that makes sense to GoH. Also, Dwarves are known to be great tinkerers so I really want to know how far I can bring their technologies without crossing in a Science Fiction border. When I said "Core", I meant by enchanted ice but I didn't really explain what I meant so that's my fault for the confusion. The only type of enchantment I'd like on the armor would be it cools of the wearer. But I would like to take it further so that it can also warm the wearer by switching out the enchanted items in the armor so going into a cold region, like Mitgardia, wouldn't be much of a problem. But a Dwarven rune sounds interesting, so if you don't mind, could you explain it a bit better to me over a PM? If it comes down to hiding the back of the armor, that's fine. One way that came to mind would be adding a flag on the back kind of like this. I'll also ask ZCerberus and Rogue Angel for some advice for what I could do as well. And thanks for the feedback guys.
  20. I managed to find a picture of the back of the armor on Google Images, you can see it here. For those two parts bulging out of the back towards the top center, would you think that, imaginatively, little fans or a type of liquid or coolant could work?
  21. Is it fine if I use this armor for my faction? I'll be "recycling" this armor for Sci-Fi builds but the helmet I plan to use if the BrickForge Hoplite Helmet with the armor. The armor just looks a bit futuristic but I plan to have a story line go with the origins of that armor tied to the current challenge going on. Long story short, Dwarves created the armor and have implemented a type of core to the back that cools down the person's temperature if they're wearing the armor so the wearer remains cool and comfortable in the scorching sun of Kaliphlin. Can you guys give me some opinions on this? I want to change my initial concept a little to a looser concept of a Roman Empire because of budget issues at the moment as well as certain items being out of stock.
  22. "What an interesting room..." Salt-Upon-Wounds examines the fungus and broken water pipes.
  23. I would love to be in it! 1.) I'm a bit of an amateur, I guess you could say since I've only participated in one game so far. Aside from EB, I've played a game with a very similar concept called "Town of Salem", if you've heard of it. If not, it's got the basic rules with night time actions from a Doctor, SK, Mafia or even a Vigilante. There's also a lookout who really just defends himself at night three times as well. I've played a lot of the game so I understand how a lot of it works. 2.) It's hard to determine my strengths and weaknesses based off one game but a strength from me, I'd say, is to embrace and endure. No matter what accusations go against me, I try to find ways to point it on someone else who appears to look more scummier than me. Some weaknesses would be that I'm not very convincing at times and giving up. I'd like to improve of my weakness as well. 3.) I'm not sure whether or not I'd be classified as a Mafia Game Graduate but I do understand the rules and how they work. I always abide by the hosts rule so don't expect any defiance out of me. 4.) For the most part, I can participate daily and have more than a few posts. Very rarely, I may not be available for half a day. And by that I mean I may just get in a few posts and am only available for maybe a hour or two. 5.) I like a few LEGO themes but the one that has appealed to me, most recently, has been The Lone Ranger. I'm a sucker for wild west-themed sets and I do like fleshy minifigs. Like I said, I do like other themes like The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings sets. Please let me know if you have any questions about my application and if I'm accepted or not.
  24. Beautiful build! I like the fact it seems full with all the plants but with the tower, I think you could have either added a soldier at the top, make it looks destoryed or overgrown with vegetation. Overall, I love the atmosphere of the build and how you presented it.
