  1. that is gigantic!! so much to see! Great job!
  2. it looks so powerful! those black spire troops don't have a chance!
  3. I bet it never even has to fight! One look at it and everyone would be fleeing in the other direction. This is amazing and truly terrifying, let's hope it stays well within Nocturnus.
  4. Nice! the frozen wings were a great choice. I can easily envision this thing soaring through the air!
  5. This is awesome! besides from the whole thing( which I love) i really liked the weathered feel on the sides of the tower, like chunks of the outer layer had worn away. I also like the inclusion of defenses such as the ballista and the dual crossbow.
  6. I love the fireplace and the tree, with the little bird on it. it really finishes off the outdoor feel. great job!
  7. wagon burning by lorddan413, on Flickr lord Dan's wagon was suddenly attacked by raiders, who planned to steal the materials they needed but encountered some resistance and in the fight the wagon was roasted. the raiders numbers far outnumbered the small number of guards lord Dan had, but they retreated once they saw that the wagon was destroyed and of no use to them, so lord Dan's guards managed to survive. luckily for them , they were already inside lord Dan's claimed land and didn't have far to go...
  8. nice build! that vegetation and landscape is really nice. Hahaha I build a really similar hammer about a week ago when I was trying to build a thor styled hammer hammer by lorddan413, on Flickr
  9. texturing by lorddan413, on Flickr could someone give me advice/ feedback on my texturing so far?
  10. buy the 120 dollar castle ( or lotr/ hobbit)set and a few smaller things things ( lotr or castle or hobbit)and that would probably get you pretty well set up to build. also how many days does it take to order off of bricklink? I'm curious because I've never used it
  11. this is very well done and looks great. I really like how you didn't just build the main room of the church, which is what most people think about when they think church, but also the back room and the outer grounds. I am impressed with the detail in both those places. however in most churches I have seen, the podium( table or whatever) that is in the front is elevated. the floor is higher in the front where the table is than the rest of the church( the bench area). I think it would look less plain on the inside if there was a sight increase in elevation( like one or two tiles)
  12. this is extraordinary. I love that building, that half timbered design looks awesome!
  13. that's a gorgeous scene. I love those bent trees :) you should add a story to it though..
  14. Thanks! I was messing around with the torso from the king in knights kingdom II and I noticed the coat of arms was similar to the current castle theme. I was thinking along the same lines. I was thinking maybe former cedrian soldiers who had retired. ( because of the crown logo and stuff) And moved into a small village in avalonia and are now the town guard, or maybe honorable mercenaries hired to help a village, etc. I've already started building a moc
  15. guards by lorddan413, on Flickr what do you guys think of these militia. I was thinking of how to use them, possibly as a small guard for a vilage or something, but I still haven't decided what. they looked slightly professional for a small village. anyway maybe someone could think of a good use for them
  16. a flying machine!?! what sort of evil witchcraft is that!! imaging the evil magic behind that. " shudders" the flying " machine" ( I'm telling u, it's gotta be witchcraft!) is ok, although I'm not really an expert in flying machines. the ground is slightly plain and that tree could use a tiny bit more detail. just things to consider in the future. ( sorry, my character became slightly paranoid about witchcraft
  17. Hmmm, any building with foundations like that just won't last. I guess that explains why kaphalin architecture always ends up crumbling back into the sand. Hmmm, any building with foundations like that just won't last. I guess that explains why kaphalin architecture always ends up crumbling back into the sand. why do my posts keep doing that!!!!! why do my posts keep doing that!!!!!
  18. Well I'm not extremely new but I guess I will answer that anyway. I was looking up lego stuff on google and made my way to flickr, where I somehow made my way to derfel Cadarn's photostream. and I was interested by how all his dark isle stories were part of goh, so I went to eurobricks and figured out what goh was
  19. nice build! I like the idea of an axe throwing tournimate. also I like the targets!
  20. what a sinister and elegant throne room. it looks great! Nice idea to keep all your treasure up in the attic
  21. I like the jagged rocks jutting out of the lava. how can you let evil win?! sorry to hear that your leaving :(
  22. nice build, the house is so perfectly incorporated into the landscape
  23. I like the door of the palisade, the hinges make it look very realistic. also the rock work is great and the sheep are awesome!!
  24. looks great, exactly the way I imagined an ax range would looks. one things though, it looks slightly unnatural how all the axes that missed landed at the same angle in the snow. I've thrown hatchets before and if they've missed they tend to bounce off the ground as often as they get stuck in it. also the axe holder is a clever idea.
  25. this is great!! I love the detail on the inside, it feels very personalized. I also like how you did the clothsline, it looks good.
