  1. I like the design of the table and chairs! Nice build I like the design of the table and chairs! Nice build I like the design of the table and chairs! Nice build
  2. This is great!! Sionnach seems to be quite well defensed. I'd like to see attackers try to get past those fortifications!
  3. I just bought several legend beasts and mixels at local stores and then mixed them with pieces from my collection. That's a good way to start and is reasonably cheap, and it provided a good chunk of the parts of my entry
  4. Nice!! I like its head and overall body shape. The studded sides make me thing of thick, tangled, gnarly fur. I can easily imaging it being helpful against arrows( the way I imagine it is a really thick layer of tough skin and then inches of tough dense fur, more like those a pad of thick ropes all tangled together with skin like tough leather behind it) Also is its spiked tail like a weapon( and hard/ pointy) or is it just shaped like a spike?
  5. It's still 20 days. That's not that short a building period, especially for something that's relatively small unless you are really busy or something. I'm sure if you really want to enter this mini challenge you will able to find a little bit of time.
  6. Over a terabyte!!! That's crazy!!!! I already have 80 photos and I have only used up 0.012% of my terabyte! That means( if I did my math right, which I'm pretty sure was right) it would take about 660,000 pictures to fill up a terabyte. You only have 1000ish photos. Your pictures can't take up That much more space than mine, can they?( even if they are HD or something) Ends August 31 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97262&st=0
  7. Looks great!!! The architecture of the wall looks very nice and the gatehouse/ entryway+ door look great as well. The elephant is also really cool, although the drape on its sides looks pretty static, especially when the elephant is rearing. Maybe make it slightly shorter so it looks less akward( like only going down as far as its stomach, not its legs too), but I do like the way it is frayed at the bottem. Also do the doors open and does the build have a back? And also I think it would be nice to have a shot of the top of the walls where the guards are standing
  8. This looks very nice and smooth and it is cool how it is incorporated right into the wall. I was slightly confused by the mural thingy on that one side of the wall ( is it the inside of the wall?). Also I think I looks slightly strange how everything is light gray except for te dark gray textured bricks. Maybe add a few dark grey regular bricks too into the walls so the textured bricks arnt the only dark grey things
  9. Nice work! The build look very good, and I especially like the shot from behind the spearfisher. One small recommendation is to use http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=8&itemID=17756 piece or something similar to make the shoreline more natural , if u have on of those type of pieces. Also the water looks slightly static, which could benifit from some more clear or clear light blue round 1times 1 plates( if u have the extra pieces to use).
  10. Wow that roof design really caught my eye! It looks great! One thing though, there is no entrance for someone climbing the ladder. The minifig would have to slide in over the wall.
  11. Nice mole! I really like the color scheme!
  12. Nice sand technique. The architecture of the chamber on the bottom is very cool. I especially like how the Ceiling is tiled.
  13. mmmmm that food looks delicious! and that cake design is awesome! A very nice lively scene
  14. I really like the use of the basketball flooring to create the stained glass window. It looks great! I also like how there is activity going on at the too and the back, not just the main room
  15. Shortly after crossing into his territory Lord Dan received a letter, sent by magical means, from his friend Mage. Inside were directions to a meeting location... At the location specified in the letter they found an ancient ruined tower, which the quickly proceeded to explore. Dan walked through the first room, noting that scavengers and time had robbed the room of nearly all decoration, leaving only piles of rubble. He climbed the staircase to the second floor, where Mage was waiting to greet his old friend. 16. Yeah it took ages to figure out where each thing should go so it could all fit and close up all the way and then rearranging it so i could fit more . And then after i was done i looked at it and found ways to add a few more things You bet its packed as with as much stuff as i could squeeze in. I even stuck a few black round 1 times 1 plates in the far back on the bottom( almost out of sight) to give the sense of even more stuff farther back Thanks! I build the base to fit the wagon, but once i was done i realized the path wasn't wide enough for the figs to stand in front of the wagon when it was open. They would have been in the foilage on the side!
  17. Thanks Yep you definitely don't want to get on the wrong side of this frost Wolf. Ohh i see what you mean with the sinking into its back. The curve in its back looks fine from the side without the minifig due to the saddle but from the top i can see what you mean. I guess having no fur there really shows you how much farther down its actual body is compared to how big it looks when its fur stands out, kind of like my cat after it gets wet . And in addition to that those evil orcs cut out part of its flesh( nothing too essential) and carved out a dip so the rider would be mostly protected and covered it with metal so it wouldn't grow back. Adding a plate would probably improve it and also make it more secure. You have to fit the minifig in somehow, right? Its kind of like a standard horse piece. Its in Avalonia by the time this painting was made. No snow there in the summer and its icy powers only freezes the ground around it when it want too.
  18. Yetis!! Nice soldiers, although i must say they look a cold...
  19. Thanks LordDan! Yeah, i was going for the war camp feel, glad you like it. I've not read any CS Lewis, sadly, but it's nice to hear that the moc is so evocative for you. While I have read the books, I was actually referring to a scene in the movie, where there is a large war camp, with tents like these and tons of different creatures, including a centaur general
  20. Wandering Merchant 1 by lorddan413, on Flickr Lord Dan and his company are still traveling through Avalonia, towards the land he has claimed as his territory and after a long journey, they are getting close. A few miles before the proposed border of the territory of Legoaywr they spot a lone wagon. The owner of the wagon is at first tense and slightly hostile, but once he realizes that Lord Dan means him no harm he relaxes and becomes quite friendly. He reveals that he is a wandering merchant, traveling from place to place to sell his wares. Lord Dan has his men bring out the gold and they start shopping... C&C appreciated
  21. Nice! That tent is awesome, I really like it! I also like the way you set up the whole thing, it works great as a war camp. this scene kind of reminds me of Narnia
  22. Nice build! I like the wall technique, it looks good. also the little bits of detail added in the latter pic really adds a lot to the build! I think the pics were yellow because someone was very tired and in a rush at 1:30 in the morning
  23. Wait so the gate moc is seperate from all that additional mountainside? Besides from that slightly confusing bit, it is a great moc. Love the way the wooden structures are temporary looking yet still formidable and the gate fits beautifully into the mountain , which has great rock work. Although if that wooden gate is where you plan to hold out against 10000 soldiers, good luck. I'm sure someone will bring a torch and those lower sections of the rock face look very climbable, like stairs...
  24. Yeah those wings work great. I love the way it looks from the front, it looks as if it is launching itself out of the swamp into the air. One thing though... Do it have to stay In the air constantly due to its lack of legs? also I think there is a 3 picture limit
  25. Amazing!!! I like how the siding on the house is angled and the curved rock thingy( chimney?) is very detailed. and now historica has access to a time machine!! It might be best to keep that away from certain individuals
