  2. Thanks! Don't worry, he's not dead, but he's going to be stuck at the healers for a while
  3. Two of the Desert King traders are walking through a Far Eastern section the city when the are suddenly ambushed and surrounded by Ulandian supporters... The trader appears oddly confident despite the seemingly overwhelming odds... Suddenly the Ulandian ranka dissolve into chaos as warriors suddenly turn on their comrades... With the bodies of their former comrades lying at their feet the Desert King infiltrators shout "Hail the Desert King!" Figless: Notes: The Far Easterners were turning on each other because the Desert King had infiltrated their ranks with sleeper agents ( Think Hydra inside SHIELD). Somehow a mummy legionare also managed to sneak in ;) C and C appreciated
  4. My Entry http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109324&st=0#entry2213964
  5. After his long day Lat've returned home exhausted. As he tiredly stumbled around trying to find his bed he learned why his unique furniture was so uncommon... With no Ulandians to contest with the Desert King suitor easily won the heart of the lady Phlici Figless EDIT: Better Pictures added The two builds were inspired by two previous builds( Kai's and Captain B's) C and C appreciated
  6. Cat A #2 #4 #11 Cat B #4 #6 #9 Cat C #6 #7 #1
  7. Great work LJ! Katoren is quickly expanding! :)
  8. I wonder, do you think the zombies limbs would start falling off from the cold? What you need is to fight ice with fire. If you want Lord Dan could call a few favors with the fire Mages of Kaliphlin( Mage is well respected and known to them and they are not very busy after they ended up not joining the Desert Kings forces) . A group of these fiery warriors would definatey wreak havoc on the Aglus's icy magic. But I suspect this is the sort of threat you Mitgardians need to face alone
  9. Nice work ME! That legion looks sharp! THEY ARE FROM THE MINIFIGURES LINE
  10. Wait category D!?! First a month extension, then a new category!? This war can't go on forever! This challenge has been fantastic, but Eventually I want to start building stuff besides Kaliphlin!
  11. Thanks everyone! :) Thanks! That is not actually my agent, it is actually my Mitgardian Diplomat from my CMF series. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102857&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 The agent was the one who discovered this scene and is not actually shown.
  12. Challenge accepted :p http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109157#entry2210462
  13. After hearing many disturbing rumors that the North was under attack Lord Dan sent agents into Mitgardia to assess the situation and find out what was going on. What they found was quite disturbing... Notes: Hey guys, this is my first Mitgardian build! Hopefully I didn't intrude too much on the secret Mitgardian frozen beyond conspiracy thing going on, I just really wanted to use these bionice pieces since they seemed perfect for this type of scene. C and C are appreciated
  14. Neat shed! The tree also looks fine, only the trunk is a little weak. What most detracts from this build is the pictures. Without proper pictures we can hardly see the mic, and is is very hard to appreciate and offer tips for improvement if you can't fealty see the build. One of the issues that I notice is that in some of your pictures the focus seen to be on items in the background, instead of the actual build, which is blurry and out of focus. For example in the last picture the chair? ( chosen thingy) can be seen crystal clear, but we can hardly see any detail of the build. Also you should try to be aware of lighting. For example we can hardly see inside the armory because of the shadow. If you could improve these features then it would greatly improve your presentation I hope this was helpful
  15. Neat build! I really like how the boat is angled, it makes it feel like it's been blasted away
  16. Yeah, boats are probably my weakest area, along with brick built creatures. This is my second time building a boat. Here's another picture from a lower angle, I think the boat looks a little better in this shot Supplying Esterbroke by lorddan413, on Flickr
  17. Welcome Hali, to the best guild in all of Historica! Wow I just realized that we have passed 3000 topics!! That is insane, especially considering that soon after I joined( only less than a year ago) i distinctly remember it being mentioned that we had just reached 2000 topics! Activity sure is increasing!!!!
  18. Gorgeous scene blufiji! I really love how the front view is a picturesque scene, and then the action is taking place in the back
  19. Thank you guys! The landscaping is intended to be very similar to Garmadon's landscaping, it is a little plain in some spots but those are mostly intended to be covered by the wagon. The wagon was a quick idea I had that started with the railing technique. I was especially happy at the end when I was trying to attach the horse to the wagon and I was fooling around and trying to fit a gun in somehow when it turned out to be the perfect shape!
  20. Thanks guys! Although the baseless builds are very good for guerrillas because there is less space for the counter this was not my intention, I just ran out of blue bricks, plus I had seen this technique before in other builds( particularly a partially submerged village that I don't remember who built)
  21. Fantastic work! Both the underground and above ground scenes look great!
  22. Nice work! The building is really good, and I like how you incorporated several recognizable features to identify this as Barqua. I'm not sure about the helmets for the border, it seems like a huge waste of parts that could be used for figs( as least personally I don't have many of those headgear pieces. It might have look better if they were sort of indented into the stone instead of just lying out in the open
  23. Fantastic scene SK! The colored houses are fantastic, and it makes me realize that I should definately try to variate more than brown, bley, and tan!
  24. How did I never end up commenting on this? I must have looked at it a dozen times. Oh well better late than never... This is an absolutely fantastic build! I realy love the roof, and the white outline on the crenellations is an awesome detail! The fig posing is also awesome!
