    The Fire Ring is a great set. The build is actually pretty cool, a new kind of swooshing...rolling it along. The big draw for me was getting 6 eared Macaque & Lady Bone Demon together. Then I ordered Princess Iron Fan so now I have lol the villains so far. Since Brickset has it listed I would imagine so. Not sure why it hasn’t been revealed yet though. They haven’t officially reviewed them yet by way of an article,,,so maybe they’re waiting on that set for some reason? It better be legit because it sounds amazing.

    Love the hideout! First off....Baby Mo!! Young Mei & (I assume) MK, even though I can tell if he has medium legs. Base looks awesome & now I have to make more room somewhere for it. Brickset has a set listed as “Monkie Kid Marketplace.” No picture but it’s definitely a buy for me. And again....need to make more space.

    Looks great. The greys was a good choice as I’m not sure black & white would’ve translated as well. I don’t think the desk alley would’ve stood out as it does here. The splashes of color still pop just as nicely as they did in the comic/movie.

    Jay’s Titan Mech is awesome looking, more Evangelion than Gundam though. And that Creative Ninja Brick Box has some cool looking structures.

    Okay...so she’s basically neutral. Just leave her & her rabbits alone to make cakes & all is well. She may have reason to be concerned though, Pigsy does have a bag full of something. Would’ve been nice to get a physical cookbook.

    I just got the Chang’e Moon Cake Factory. Love the set but what’s the deal(I need to watch the show...)? Is Chang’e a good guy? She’s definitely not happy that Pigsy...looks to be stealing some cakes judging by the box art.

    I don’t have them together at the moment but they are in the same vicinity. They definitely go together well. Take the wedge plate area off the noodle shop & you could replace it with any module from Lanterns. Or you could fit it on the opposite side of the stairs, just remove the Technic pins(or remove the stairs & put it next to the buildings).

    Even though I like her, I can agree to that. Reusing a City face is a pretty lame move. CMFs have some of the best expressions & having such a reused one is disappointing. As I mentioned before though, I never did get her hair(I’ve been meaning to get the tractor just keep skipping over it) so I’m happy in that regard. Her torso print is a good too. The face really knocks it down it a few pegs though.

    Piñata boy for sure, but the girl with the foal was a great minifg. Medium legs in a new color, same with hat/hair. Nice tiros print & a fun head print. They definitely went the lazy route by giving the piñata boy a plain torso. Even though it was kinda understandable given the poncho. Another sombrero was nice. But then I just thought about the Pea costume...has a salad printed on her torso. And I believe the Chili pepper has a print as well.

    Candy shop would be a good one & one that I feel is missing. Put a gingerbread house & candy canes in the windows along with other candy prints we have.

    The current open spot for me is next to the Corner Garage(garage bay side). Not very fitting for either a jazz club or pizzeria to be next to that...but the design of the building determines where it goes more than the contents of the building for me.

    I haven’t read the book, but I doubt they had mechs. So I think there’s plenty they can draw from. Plus, they could give us traditional locales like Flower Fruit Mountain & Heavenly Realms every year or so. Going off the other comments there’s no shortage of inspiration.

    I think it’s a mix of things. Lack of exposure for the theme could lead some to not giving it much attention. I give it a lot on the other hand. And, particularly with AFOLs, I think there’s a bit of a mech/vehicle fatigue because of Ninjago. It is a shame this theme gets the treatment it does, it really is a great theme. I certainly hope not. Next to HP this is the one theme I’m buying a lot from & focusing on. We’ve gotten so many gems in this theme & excellent minifigs that I hope it doesn’t end anytime soon. I thought it was going evergreen? Did I read that or just imagine it...

    That is perfect! The toros definitely screamed Fett to me...and now I see the helmet is totally Gundam. Great call. This is a great looking series. I like most of them. I haven’t gotten a set, or bought it by itself, with the dark orange pigtail piece that the rocking horse girl has...so I’m excited for that. Even though I’d rather have city minifigs be in City sets. Or that rocking horse could’ve been a highlight for this years WV set. Ah well. I love the paperboy as well(here I go again). Baby Benny is of course fantastic. Baby! Baby! BABY! New animals is always fun & just overall a nice slate of new/recolored parts.

    Exactly how I feel too. The World Map is a kind of cheater biggest set. I’m counting the Eiffel Tower as the first official set to hit 5 digits.

    Oh man, that Christmas sweater is great! I was hoping this would happen after the AC’s had them. Going to the store Saturday but I think it’s too early for my area.

    That first picture they use on the slide is amazing! That pose screams “buy me now!” Jan 1st just got a bit more expensive.

    Getting a better look at the parade makes me like it more. The slight price increase is driving me away from the other set though. I like them, just not $90 like them. They were already going to be a hard sell at $80. I did recently see this year’s sets on sale, in the case of the Traditions set it was $65. Maybe I’ll grab it if it hits the sale price. Now....let’s see this Add-on Pack! If it’s anything like the Asian Xtra pack...I’m gonna want a lot of them.

    Great look at your city. I hope it’s taken care of the zombie problem... I've been giving a little more thought into using tiles to make roads so its always nice seeing examples so I can better picture it & get an idea of how it could turn out.

    I love it. I think I it’s distinctly different enough from the old one that it won’t feel repetitive getting it. Can’t wait to get the official reveal so we can get a much better look at it.

    Ha, that was one of my first thoughts as well, a great time to give us a new instrument. I was thinking stand up bass but a trombone would be fun as well. And yeah, any pieces that are hypothetically saved by a simpler jazz club could be used to liven up the pizzeria. Which I’d be for since the front will likely be mostly windows. As was mentioned above, the Green Grocer is the perfect interior Modular. Bottom floor that we can easily see inside, details, details, details. But the rest just ask glimpses of an interior.

    Haha, looks like I got I what i wanted. That new headwear is exactly what I was hoping for. That parade set is great, loving the minifigs. Build looks really fun as well. The other one is a bit of a miss for me, mainly because I prefer sets with minifigs. May still get it though.
