    The best possible scenario from a fellow exterior focused AFOL, is that a jazz club could be easy on the piece count. Tables/chairs & a slightly elevated stage for the performers. A bar could be a toss up. Detective’s Office didn’t have one, while Hogsmeade Village Visit did have one, albeit simple.

    Can see it now. The pizzeria is a front for the mob & the Don is sitting up in the club in the VIP section.

    Pretty close. It says Music Hall-not exactly Jazz club like- but the man advertised is a sax player. I’m all for this. It’s a very weird pairing, but I’m intrigued. They know what they’re doing.

    This is fantastic! What a great idea to repurpose that set in a pop up storybook kinda way. Love all the different logos on the block as well. One slight correction, Goblet was fourth, not third.

    Definitely will. I checked out 4 reviews on YouTube(the first four that showed up) & only 1 had the misprint.

    Oh really? The instructions show it as two gold painted parts. So it must’ve been a whole batch of the part...which makes it even worse. Here I thought I had something special. I asked for a replacement,...we’ll see.

    Having just finished a marathon build of both Flower Fruit Mountain & Heavenly Realms....I really hope we get more sets like them. Not only are they great builds with fantastic minifigs, the lore behind them makes me curious & now I need to track down the book(s). Also got Dragon of the East & the namesake minifg has a neat misprint, one side of his crown isn’t painted gold.

    Very cool! I’m not familiar with the game, but reading the blurb about it in the instructions definitely made me want more of the machines.

    This is what concerns me, that they’ll price me out of the Modulars...one way or the other. I’m not quite sure yet where that threshold lies, but it would rely a lot on the build. I’ll use the Justifier & Sweet Mayhem’s Systar Starship. The Justifier is outrageously priced for what you get($170 for just over 1000 pieces & 4 minifigs). I was leaning towards buying it but then I decided to read some reviews in hopes that it would sway me in the right direction. It did the opposite... then Sweet Mayhem. Also overpriced but I felt it was okay as the build was solid & feels like I got my money’s worth.

    Ya know..I thought of a much better reason for wanting a new bunny head, a face. Just looking at the CNY sets, all the animal hats had faces, as do most if not all other animal hats. In that regard an update would be nice.

    HP CMF Series 1 offered two different skin tones, a very reasonable price. Then Kingsley came in the second...at a less reasonable price. Then we had Jim Gordon & a number of Barbara’s in the Batman Movie CMF. Aladdin, Jafar, & Jasmine in Disney. Cyborg in DC. Monica Rambeau & Star-Lord T’Challa in Marvel. And 4 in the German football series.

    It’s just been around awhile & change would be nice. I blame the BaM stations for me wanting all these alternate pieces.

    Looks like we’ll be getting a rabbit in next year’s sets. In that case, I’d like to see a new mold for the headpiece.

    I imagine we won’t hear much until the end of next month at the latest(hopefully).

    I just got the mariachi(x3) and while they’re supposed to be dead, since they have the white hands, I put yellow heads on them. I may or may not switch out the hands & just have the White be gloves...even though that doesn’t make sense. The Dia de los Muertos could also be used as a living person, just someone who really goes all out on her costume.

    It’s not like the interiors of businesses past have been full of details, they’ve all been sparse. The houses are a different story. I’m loving it even more now but as mentioned above, a new instrument would’ve been been more than welcomed. I do love the new sweater prints though. And the Charlie Brown like one I’m glad to have...eventually.

    First world problem incoming! Is this really coming on October 3rd/8th?! I’m already going to be at the store on the 1st...and all the other sets(bar Visit which was already released by this time last year) have been Oct 1st. What are they doing?! I hate waiting for shipping.

    Oh man, that looks to be the best WV set we’ve gotten. I love it. Bonus is outside of winter, these buildings can work well in a city setting. And a cable car. Looking very forward to getting this one.

    Yeah, that’s the least exciting bit about this set. A third* toy shop is a lot. I’m very intrigued by the rest & even still, I’m sire the toy store’s building will look good.

    Huh? That set is directly targeted towards the average Eurobricks user. Unless you mean that the average user isn’t into Marvel sets. But using Brickset, where the poll was cited, your example of polling MCU fans doesn’t match up, because Beickset(much like here) is a site for all LEGO fans. And they have a wide variety in most cases of themes they collect. I love the Marvel theme but I have zero interest in this. The helmet sets don’t interest me at all...and a bugger version is no different. And it’s price is insulting & just them trying to capitalize on the character. I’m not so sure that the average non LEGO buyer that loves BP would even throw that amount of money at this set. They could buy some amazing statues for a lot less.

    I agree most with your minifg lineup. Not having Kacillius at all is definitely unfortunate, maybe we’ll see him in a CMF. Leg & arm printing is a plus, but we really didn’t need another Spidey. And considering we have the book with that spell & the doors, Kacillius would’ve been perfect for this set. Onto the building. It’s fantastic. The angled bit is well integrated. I like interior during the build process, but that’s it. So I’m glad they paid extra attention to the exterior.

    While I can’t really envision a set built around a banner, I’m certainly intrigued due to the books being quite neat & fun builds.
