  1. Well, now I’m a bit puzzled myself. I would still lean towards the legs being dark pink, as stated about the other parts from that set being in the tower. But you have an “I (heart) Legoland torso, albeit different colored arms, so I don’t really know. I don’t suppose you have either of the sets the dark pink pants came in to compare? Also, the magenta pants were made 5 years ago, I wonder if parts that old show up...I know they go back a couple. That sounds like my friend & I as we wait for the doors to open & see kids coming around. Get out of the way ya brats! Ditto. We always get there when or slightly before they open, and usually on a Friday, when even less people are there. Saturday’s..that’s when the elbows come out.
  2. Draco in the Astronomy Tower is a Death Eater. Graveyard Death Eater...still a Death Eater regardless of garb. Macnair, again...still a Death Eater regardless of garb. That is both Crouch & Moody, therefore a Death Eater. Snape is the only one you have right, as he wasn’t an actual Death Eater during the times the sets are showcasing. I’m not sure how you gauge what a “true fan” is, but I’ll echo these others here, I’m extremely happy with what we’ve gotten up to this point. Finally see Hufflepuff & Ravenclaw realized. Got fantastic new beasts, Threstral & Hyppogriff. All of the minifigs have been outstanding & this next wave will be no different. The sets have been equally great, even the small forest set with Aragog. I don’t know what it is or why you came in here hot, but it’s definitely strange. I suppose you haven’t read much of this theme being talked about, because the general consensus is that is an all around hit.
  3. Hmm...odd. I just checked mine from the set, looks the same as the one in your picture. Also, I’m addition to the striped shirt torso I mentioned, I forgot they had the kid’s head who is playing the ring toss game in that set. That makes me think the kegs are the same part.
  4. Magenta legs came in 60234 People Pack -Fun Fair. There’s also the white torso with red stripes in that set rattling around in BAM towers.
  5. Yeah, I figured as much. Just unrealistically hopeful.
  6. Wait...did you find those two white hoodie “ZAP!” & “BAM!” torsos in a BaM Tower at a store? I was under the impression those were con exclusive bits.
  7. Oh yes, I do remember these. Loved them. I had a bunch of these as a kid. Don’t know what happened to them, but I don’t think they’re still around. Those itty bitty cars inside the Micro Machines were great. I would imagine those are going for good prices on the secondary market, due to kids likely losing the itty bitty’s.
  8. That’s a lot of dissent based on the two smallest sets...the school bus is a fantastic set, & sized according. Likewise, the Shrimp Shack is appropriately sized, it is a shack after all. It’s meant to be a small, waterfront business & it pulls it off great. As to the Haunted House, it was being accused of being “stolen” from a MOC that is similar to the set(I mean, it’s a cliche haunted house, of course it’s going to be similar to others). Perhaps that’s where’s the CuuSoo thing came from.
  9. How are the background characters old timey? You could argue the waitress in the Shrimp Shack is out of the 50’s, but you could also argue she’s simply in an old diner whose owner never updated the uniform. I think the kids are great. They gave us those hairpieces for Jack & Parker(both waves). They’re as tough as you want them to be though, yeah? They’re teenagers, so of course they have smart phones. As someone who abhors seeing smart phones in everyone’s faces at all times....I don’t mind them here. Plus, the app thing ties in as well. I agree. I never did get the lab set, it just wasn’t interesting to me. I love all the townsfolk we’re getting in this theme. I have the Shrimp Boat & Shack, Bus, Cemetery, Buggy, & Drag car...all have great looking minifigs that are nice improvements over their City theme counterparts. The second wave took longer for me, but it’s really grown on me the more I look at it.
  10. I gotta agree. It’d be one thing if he was hounded by multiple people over many comments...but it was one person, one time. Anywho...with the blurry pictures, I’m on the fence. The skull fortress looks the best. The Bounty is a pass, I’d rather get the Movie version second hand. The mech, could go either way. If it’s like the Titan Mech in size & design, it’ll likely be a buy.
  11. I love this. I’m a big fan of “real” items being built in LEGO. I still do need to get my hands on the Maze set...and the Pop Up Book...and chess set that is still current. I do have Ship in a Bottle though!
  12. They did with the Barrel Escape set from The Hobbit wave. That smiley face on the reverse of the Elf Chief was a drunk face. I’m somewhat okay with that, given the stupid new price of The CMFs. I will definitely miss getting FB minifigs though.
  13. 70428 Jack’s Beach Buggy
  14. Wow, that’s a lot of room to work with. You have quite the assortment there too, by the looks of it. You have a great start going. I assume that area the Modulars are surrounding is going to be a square of some sort?
  15. Whatever the castle is, it sounds promising. More often than not, every building in this theme of recent years have been amazing. An Asian style castle would be fantastic.
  16. I love how some are saying this won’t sell....because LEGO never does research & just throws things at store shelves... I can definitely see this selling to people who make mosaics, it’s a great parts pack theme. There’s some neat printed tiles too, some of the quarter tiles are great.
  17. I could see a Grimmauld Place set being similar to Marvel’s Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown. The size would be about right & they could even have it open like that set did with the bottom floor being the kitchen & the upper floor being the room where the trio was hanging out.
  18. This is very cool! I love the snowman working the crank. Great looking figure as well. The base has some great details that really finish off the whole build.
  19. Fair. If you took the time to go over each great accessory, we’d be here all night. Something else I just noticed, which may add a little pizzazz to both Cole & Nya, is that their avatars represent their elemental powers. This may have been obvious, but I’m going to blame the awesomeness in this set for distracting me from noticing that sooner.
  20. Absolutely to everything you said. Even smaller sets like Museum Break In had too many vehicles. Capital City was gummed up with too much in my opinion. The crane, halfpipe & Police bike could’ve easily been omitted. If I didn’t find it for 40% off, I wouldn’t have bought it(still haven’t even built the crane). It’s the same with the donut shop, get rid of the toy store & crane(again....) & make a bigger donut shop. That business is such a departure for LEGO it’s a shame we got something that small.
  21. Finally picked up this set. What a fantastic set it is. For me though, the star(s) of this set are Harumi(finally have her & her hair...the only color I didn't have), Okino & Scott. But, Pink Zane is about as close as we’re gonna get to having the Fuchsia(Surprise!) Ninja. You forgot to mention though, there are six different colored katanas!
  22. 71708 Gamer’s Market 40408 Drag Car two packs from BaM towers....mostly filled with the exclusive goodies.
  23. That’s awesome that the artist is even helping you realize this. That has to be really satisfying & fuels you even more.
  24. And now that we have 70676 Lloyd’s Titan Mech(which is basically a Gundam without a full head), we know that they could really knock a Gundam theme out of the park. I was so excited to get that set when I saw it because I instantly thought Gundam.
  25. Boy, how did I miss these? I love them. I really love the cargo plane, great color choices. Desert Exploration Mobile Base is awesome as well. As someone who loved PQ, I wouldn’t definitely be down for these. Great job.
