10247 Ferris Wheel is the good one to look at for those trees(or at least similar enough to what is here).

Nice idea of reusing these bottle parts. I like the variety of plants you have, really makes the place feel busy.

This looks fantastic, and quite the undertaking. I love that entrance building. The iron fence, the masonry brick walls turned on their side, and the dark tan tiles on the edge. Great color combination.

Wow! Those buildings are fantastic. The details are great, I love the 1x2 with the hole & Technic pins being used in that way.- 4 replies

Haha, that’s great. Nice little builds. Looks like he’s quite the chef.

Hmm....it could be like an oddities type of store? You could build a little something for the hand to hold to help convey it & work as signage.

Chinese New Year’s Sets 2020 - Rumours and Discussion
Vindicare replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I would imagine they’ll get more stock, but it’s kinda weird that that set is out of stock while the other is back ordered. I would probably go the route of ordering it in the UK, that way you’re guaranteed to get it. -
I’m not sure, might be able to if you called them. I finally used vouchers & all it did was add the credit to my VIP card. Then it was scanned at the register.

Well, I totally missed this, but I didn’t venture here years ago. I’m only vaguely familiar with the show, but that ship is great. The shaping is very odd, but it looks fantastic in LEGO & is quite faithful to the source material.

Star Wars VS In-House Space: Which do you think is better and why?

Allow me to interpret. Chibi, I believe, is referring to the 4+ X-Wing. RoS is Rise of Skywalker. -
Hmm...what about making a bush out of it? Stick some small brown bars in the fingers & throw some foliage all over.

I didn’t even know this thing came out...never once saw a trailer for it, at the theatre or on TV...

Going in I thought, “he knows we already have a great solid one of these...right?” What a sight this is though. It’s really quite different. I like all the features you have here that the minifig scale one doesn’t. While I didn’t notice until that top down shot, those pieces that are upside down are kinda odd, taking away from the smoothness of the car. And the fins are a bit too short, when comparing the real thing. Overall great job, you really made it your own.

60234 People Pack: Fun Fair- found this sealed for $28 on the eBay. A little better deal than what the stores usually offer, so felt good. 30453 Captain Marvel and Nick Fury- this one I got from an Instagram friend. Saved me the searching & likely disappointment at not finding it.

[PRESS RELEASE] LEGO Creator Expert 10272 Old Trafford Manchester United

I would guess it’s microscale. Not knowing the stadium, I would imagine the statues that are represented here by nanofigures are life size, so I’m judging off of that. I reckon there’s always a chance of seeing it on sale. Like you said, the Carousel was on sale. More recently Welcome to Apocalypseburg! was on sale. I don’t know how much or often big sets like this go on sale on S@H. -

That is what makes me miss out on a lot of SW too, price. There’s so much other great stuff that I want to get, sets get forgotten. That’s a good idea. To give a bit more variety, they could one with Sebulbas. It’s probably nearly as popular & equally as well known as Ani’s. Or, price wise which would be in usual LEGO fashion, they could do add two other podracers with the each of the well known ones. -
Now this I agree with. I miss the single use buildings. I don’t really mind the multi use ultimately, but I would prefer single. It just made the building more cohesive. The only one it realistically worked was on the Detective’s Office.

The line can already be more diverse...they release 50+ sets per year for the past few years, so having an X-Wing & MF always on the shelf shouldn’t deter new things being made. This is where being a toy company comes into play. Other than us AFOL’s, would kids really buy all 18 other podracers? I’d love to see that personally & would very likely try to get them all. Unfortunately for us, much like City, LEGO would rather sell sets that are sure to sell rather than ones that may. -
I suppose they figure most VIP card holders are parents, hence all the color sheets & such. I did consider that VIP set as I missed out on it. But ultimately I didn’t feel the points were worth it. That would likely be a different story if they offer the Rocket Ride, depending on the amount. But now that I’ve finally used points on vouchers, it was a lot easier than I assumed. I figured they would email vouchers that we then had to print or show at the register, but it just went on the card. Them not having these other “freebies” isn’t such a big deal to me, as dollar discounts are priority. But I can see how it would irk people, like with the Batpod.

I saw that over there, I do wonder of that’s merely coincidence or planned. I looked back at the old Sports theme, I’m somewhat familiar but not enough to really picture them. They definitely were small but I loved how you could buy the additional stuff-lights, food stands, signs. Very cool. I don’t think I’d buy them, but I’d like to see them revive that & see how they handle it now I was meaning though seeing this Creator set at minifig scale. Curiosity would be to see the piece count & price. -

If it wasn’t it’d be unaffordable, probably even by UCS buyers standard. At minifig scale, the piece count would have to at least double I imagine. Then the question of how many minifigs do they include? From that perspective alone, going micro scale was the way to go. However, I’d absolutely love to see a minifig scale one. Just for curiosity’s sake. -

This seems more limited in appeal than most sets of this caliber they’ve done. But it is an impressive looking set. -

I love the Dragon Boat, but it’s the least exciting of the now 5, so it’s continued availability isn’t all that surprising. Ordered mine tonight. Unfortunately, the stores nearest me were sold out, which I pretty much expected, so I had to go the electric route. Now the agonizing wait...
