Wow...those two shots to his immediate right & left....that’s really bad.

Nobody is commenting on your opinion...but you didn’t say “I don’t like it because it won’t work in my city.” Which is totally valid, it’s not an easy building(as it’s intended purpose of being a house) to place. But to say, as you did, “they didn’t put much effort into that side” is unjust because you can’t gauge the effort put into something you didn’t bother building. There’s no knee jerk reaction nor me saying or implying that anyone needs to love everything they release. I certainly don’t.

Seen those before too...and every time I feel uncomfortable. But the white/black legs & Chip n’ Dale suit torso will go on my list too. That’s awesome they put that torso in there...could that have been a mistake? Seems strange. Even the unprinted pink legs are a nice addition. I hope they have them his weekend at the store I visit.

Great...now I can’t unsee that. Thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of minifigures. Set wise though, good point. The carriage especially so. It had a fraction of a second on screen. I think the Knight Bus played a bigger role than it’s screen time portrays, plus we know LEGO loves their vehicles.

How can you say they didn’t put effort into something you didn’t even bother building? Because it’s too small for your liking?
-
They use those trans orange flame piece as a tail. Yeah, I almost expect a centaur to appear in a CMF series than HP. Unless the theme lasts longer & we get to the more obscure stuff, movie wise. The centaurs played such a little role in the movies compared to the books.
-
That would help, but the shape of it I think would still make it look weird with a regular Minifigure torso/head combo. It looks fine with the oversized Trolls head, but too flat & wide proportionally for a proper centaur. I agree, having that piece gives better hope than what we’ve had in the past.
-
The only downside to this part is the cartoony proportions...it looks too off to be a “real” centaur. But it’s not horrible.

I love the Tuning Garage, it has a lot more pluses than it does minuses. The new dog, bike, that great little trailer, the cars are all great. Although I think they could’ve done without the small blue car & it’s sign/ramp. I realize it goes with the trailer, but they could’ve easily made that where the shop owner lives instead. The Stunt Team team doesn’t really interest me, but the ATV is neat. Racing Cars I like...the blue car more than the red. The Service Station is too incomplete of a building for me today actually buy it. But the cars are fantastic & new.

I grabbed Lloyd’s Titan Mech finally & I want to fill in the cockpit area with a head, like Gundam. That was the draw of this set for me, how much it resembles them. I want to build it from the eyes down using the existing head as the top. Problem is I have no idea how to really even begin. I looked around at some LEGO builds of Gundam to get ideas, but still don’t know where to start really because I don’t MOC, especially robots. Just little things for my town. I am doing some trial & error based on the pictures I did save, but any pointers would be awesome.

70676 Lloyd’s Titan Mech- found it for $49 at Walmart, pretty happy about that.

I’d consider getting a Minion if he were Porg size, sounds pretty cool. Artoo & Wall-E, along with the Porg, could use another buddy.

Jealous! That face on the kid is fantastic! Is it exclusive or just really new? I can’t place it, but I love it. Looks like me whenever I get a new set.

D’oh! With all the red hair & hand me down robes....it’s hard telling them apart.

Lego Island and Lego City are the same place?
Vindicare replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Town
Never played the game, but checked out some videos. It seems likely I suppose. It could also be that they just threw sets of the time in the game. But hey, it’s a fun theory that could work. -
I could see them recycling General Hux’s face for Charlie.

LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Vindicare replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Sadly, those days are gone. If they were to bring them back, I’d be happy & would likely grab them. They’ve done a fair amount of houses since switching to open back, a few are quite appealing to me. -
LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Count me in on the missing the full Creator houses. I have all, except the last one...just didn’t get around to grabbing it. Little did I know it would be the last...it’s a great looking set too. Still on my list to get even though my residential area is gone. -
The first thing I would do is get rid of the curved street plate & make it a 90 degree turn so it would be clean & easy to tile. That would be the easier route than having to make a couple new tiles in order to smoothly tile the inside area of the curve.

Yes! I always love reading your updates. As you said, the stories you add really make your town come to life.
-
I noticed something weird after rewatching the Designer video once I finished building the set.that little plant area on the back of the townhouse had four of those round 1x2 plates instead of the two the set had.

Ha! Great point. May have the get that book after all.
