Fantastic exterior style on the station building. Incredibly elaborate layout overall.

List your favourite modulars in order of preference, and explain why?
Kayaderosseras replied to glendo's topic in LEGO Town
1 - GG (nice appearance, large -- 2nd heaviest modular at 2.17kg, as bricklinked) 2 - FB (like the outside appearance) 3 - GE (outside reminds me of Capwell's in Oakland CA, long ago, large -- 3rd heaviest modular) 4 - CC (flashy style but small -- 3rd lightest modular, as bricklined) 5 - PS 6 - PR (great details inside and out, but small -- 2nd lightest modular at 1.80kg) 7 - TH (large - heaviest modular at 2.77kg) 8 - PC (don't like the outside style) 9 - MS(1600's or 1700's Dutch style does not fit in well with other modulars, small -- lightest modular at only 1.34 kg as bricklinked) BTW, is there a secret to making a long post at this site, without having to press each letter up to 3 times before it shows up in the reply box? -
There's always Haunted House -- I tuned two of them into a corner modular.
-
Nice layout -- I really like the table with rounded ends, which goes well with the curved tracks.
-
Very impressive city layout. The large white station is fantastic, and the monument out front is even better
-
Very nice -- I especially like the the 2-6-0 and the GG1.

[MOC] Slight mod to use Haunted House as corner modular
Kayaderosseras replied to badbob001's topic in LEGO Town
Nice modification -- it should fit right in with the other modulars, even with the yards that are an important part of the look and feel of HH. I also modded 2xHH to be a de-haunted corner modular, but it had no yard -- just flat walls on the sides. The tower was moved to the corner (so there could be a plane of symmetry). -
Nice, with lots of details. I especially like the dartboard, seat cushion, and the electric outlets.

The train station is fantastic -- the style fits in well with the official modular.

Nice job -- it's amazing how good a 6-wide truck can look.
-
Fantastic conversion -- the level of detail really fits right in with other modulars. I especially like the TV antenna on the roof.

Very nice. I really like the uneven sidewalk stones, sort of like the ones around here down near the center of town.

[MOC] White River Junction VT - Old Post Office
Kayaderosseras replied to andyscouse's topic in LEGO Town
Very nice replica -- I like the two shades of red brick.. BTW, I've passed through White River Junction, but I don't remember anything but the name. -
Nice design -- I particularly like the rounded corner on the 2nd floor.

[WIP] Dump Truck
Kayaderosseras replied to Rishab N's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks like a good start. Although many dump trucks (especially older US ones) are short and stocky, the long wheelbase with 5 axles would be an advantage nowadays in states that use the bridge formula, or something similar. Since this truck is going to have twin steer, I'd suggest making it resemble a Kenworth C-500 dump truck. I've never seen a C-500 twin steer myself, but there are pictures of them on the web. -
Very good work. I've always been a fan of Fire Brigade, too. I especially like those exterior floodlights at the back, along with the overall style.

Very impressive results, especially for just two weeks effort. I really like those angular front fenders, like the ones you'd see on old Autocar dump trucks long ago, when I was young. Of course, this truck would have to be modern, with those twin steer front axles. (note: I've only seen one or two dump trucks around here with twin steer axles, out of hundreds or thousands.)

Very nice, realistic skyscraper model. I'll have to admit that the first thing that popped into mind when I saw the pics was the WTC. Also, the cat on top of the building made me think of King Kong.

Amazing creation -- It's hard to imagine how many hours of effort go into something like this. Is that Niagara Falls in the second and third pics, with a ship about to go over it?

Very nice MOC, with good styling and lots of details, both inside and out . I especially like the crane/hoist up on top.

Lego 10182 Cafe Corner--New Build Review!
Kayaderosseras replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Town
Very interesting -- you don't see too many Café Corner reviews these days. (Also interesting is how the browser automatically adds the accent over the e in café.) -
City Layout - Inspired by Los Angeles, California
Kayaderosseras replied to parrafilmsguy's topic in LEGO Town
Very nice setup -- I especially like the refection in the "glass" of the AON skyscraper in the 4th photo.
