  1. Hi guys! So I was rebuilding my tie defender today and I noticed that the cockpit is sagging a lot. Is this normal? I did have to change some things on my version since the two technic pieces that hold the three wings on broke, and I needed to replace it with an alternate solution. I'm planning on modding the set more, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I might make it's own topic when I finish, but until then any help is appreciated.
  2. Yes!! Another chance at an imperial shuttle and tie interceptor! Seriously if these aren't released I will cry. They are well overdue for remakes, plus they might show up in rebels. (maybe not the interceptor)
  3. These sets sound great! They also sound like I can afford most of them, so double yay! I am really sad that we didn't get a new imperial shuttle or tie intercepter however. I guess more reason to finish my system scale version...
  4. I would go with the AT-AP and kashyyk troopers. The troopers go perfectly together and the model looks better than the previous one. I do like the AT-TE, but I feel that you'd have more fun with the other option. Enjoy!
  5. Yeah on BL. I couldn't believe it either, and everyone is sealed in box!
  6. Thanks for the advice! I've decided on the Dropship since it has much more playability. $300-$400 will get you a sealed copy as well.
  7. Hi guys! So with Christmas coming up, I'm finally in a position to get a big LSW set, but I'm not sure which one. My candidates are, Republic dropship and AT-OT or the Super star destroyer. I could also get a bunch of BL orders and fill out my starfighter ranks instead. I'm not really a ucs collector, but the sets look amazing, and snubfighters are always good. Any help/suggestions?
  8. Very cool! The link worked fine for me. That must have cost a fortune! It also must attract dust like no ones business.
  9. I have to agree with everyone else. Also, amazing DX-9 markus!!!
  10. Thanks so much! I can finally build one! This is definitely going to be my one of my new projects! Oh, and congrats on becoming a vassal.
  11. Very nice work!! All of the greebling and other little details are perfect!! I love the exposed gears! they give it a very functional look! that gun made of rifles is pure genius! Good luck!
  12. I've tried that. They are similar but not the same. That one used snap plates, but this one doesn't (I'm pretty sure). If you look at the original, the side wings are almost perfectly connected to the main wing, with virtually no gap. Hopefully sleeper can help me out. He was on earlier today...

  14. Hi Guys! Today I've decided to share with you my very first LDD project, re-creating Sleepers E-wing. I absolutely love the E-Wing as a starfighter, and Sleepers lego version captures it perfectly. So far, I have managed to make the nose, body, and wings, leaving just the engines and smaller wings left, along with some other fine tuning. Really, I've hit a wall and can't continue. My main issue is the how to connect the smallest wing and gun. My current iteration has the wing connected to the gun, and that connected to the engine, which snaps underneath the wing. This isn't perfected yet, leaving it in pieces. If any one has suggestions of tips, they would be appreciated. 15. In the comparison between the two, 7657 looks almost better than 8038, but 7657 is much more movie accurate. A really tough choice. I guess 8038 was a good buy, assuming you want a very accurate model.
  16. I suppose a new AT-ST would made sense. We haven't gotten one since 2009, and those videos tend to bear fruit. TLG is also going back to more OT sets, so this rumor has that going for it.
  17. I used a topic a few pages back, mainly about the turrets, but included this gem. I forget who posted it. I was going to put it in the first post, but I forgot.
  18. Very nice build! I love all the gold in the front! Although, it doesn't scream steampunk at first. Maybe it's just me, since I'm not a huge fan of steampunk. I also like the color scheme, which adds to the steam punk vibe. Good luck!
  19. Funnily enough, I was watching that the other day! It is there for a few brief seconds, but I'm not sure of a video clip or anything.
  20. The imperial landing craft was originally an EU vehicle, but it was given some screen time in the remastered version of episode IV, so it's both? Personally I don't think of Tie collection to be anything more that a collection of sets. The Tie D included is and EU vehicle however.
  21. Hi guys! I was wondering if the new jedi intercepters will fit in the old hyperdrive ring, with little or no mods. I don't have one my self to test it out on, so any help would be appreciated!
  22. I decided, since we already have a razor squadron ARC 170 here, why not a gunship? So I took a shot at it, using the latest gunship. I came up with two versions, one with lighter blue, and one darker. They aren't perfect, and would benefit from some stickers, but it's the best I can do for now. Enjoy! Light blue: Dark Blue:
  23. That is true, but I don't think that's justifies a $40 set that should be only $25. Personally, I don't think popularity or anything like that should affect lego prices. At the end of the day, you are just paying for bricks, not anything else. The price per piece ratio should determine prices more than anything else. Of course, that is what I think. TLG (and you) may think otherwise.
  24. yep. I have the death star and it is amazing. great buy. definitely go for it
  25. After not posting any MOCs here for a while, I recently went back to look at this topic, and decided there were some things I was displeased with in the original design, so I went back and made some changes. I know a Rebels version of this vehicle is eminent, but I still want to buff this one out before that one comes out. All that aside, here is the V 1.2! Enjoy! As you can see, not a whole lot changed here. Mostly, I added some greebling on top, seen here. I went away from the smooth and clean look from before, and gave it a much more gritty, industrial look. Also, a tiny detail barely noticeable is that I deepened the troop baskets from two studs to four. This picture should set the motif for this update, simple changes. Here is a shot from the back, showing off the "door" of the vehicle. some sources show a kind of engine thing in the back, but I just left it squared off. I added a ton more greebling here from the first model. You can also see more of the top greebles and the turret. A shot of the new interior. Before, this whole area was just empty, but now it contains six chairs for troops, as well as a gun rack for six troops. I know the stormies are supposed to hang out of the sides, but this is the alternative way of doing it. You can also see a glimpse of the controls, elaborated in the next pic. There are two seats for your drivers, with corresponding controls. P.S: sorry for the huge pic at the end. It wont go any smaller
