Hi guys! I was looking at my new Jedi intercepter today and was wondering about Obi Wan's red version. That, in turn, sparked a thought. There are so many ships in Star Wars, and many have alternate color schemes. So I was wondering if a topic existed solely to display these alternate colored ships. I have failed to find one, so I started my own! If this in fact should go in another topic, do move it mods. Thanks, and enjoy! Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I agree with Rollermonkey. I would love a chance to get the SSD. This waves B-Wing really doesn't impress me enough to pass something that fantastic up. Personally, I like RengadeClone's/Krispy's/ScottishDave's B-Wing better. A lot better. Have fun with that SSD, if you do end up getting it! -
Thats good. TLG really made a mistake not having a stand. The B-Wing is a little pricey already and a stand might've made 5 extra bucks worth it. I have always liked the look of that stand, especially the black and yellow color scheme. I think I will pass on 75050 in favor of ScotishDave's B-Wing v1.3. That is a truly amazing MOC.

Awesome build! The color scheme does fit somehow. I guess this means that 75050 will fit in the old ones stand quite. Good to know...

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

It looks like from the pictures there is a pull out tray of some kind in the back. It's probably for guns, but I'd like if the wookies could fit in there. The more I look at this set, the more I'm beginning to like it. -

The wings look really stubby in comparison to the body. I'm not quite sure what to think of this set. I would've liked a better interior. -

I imagine this would be amazing, but I can't see the pictures. Clicking on them or the link takes me a 404 page, and your name takes me to a friends page, where I did a search for you, but to no avail. -
Nice build! I love your classic space theme! This is supposed to be the landspeeder Luke takes to Jabba's Palace right? I still love all the detailing with the hoses and rods. The rollcage is a very nice touch. Keep up the good work!
-
Very nice build! I love how you mixed in some wood, while keeping the yellow and grey color scheme! The front with all the details is just mindblowing! The commando droid head is an awesome way to give it a little more of a steampunk feel. Good luck!
-
Very nice job! This is what TLG's version should've been! You've captured every aspect of the B-Wing very well, and kept it at a perfect scale. I do have a few gripes, however. The smaller S-Foils are a little too fat all around, and the front of the cockpit doesn't scream B-Wing to me. Still, this is an amazing build.

I got a few of mine through magnet sets. They had one with a stormtrooper, rebel pilot, and AT-ST pilot. They were real mini figs attached to a magnet by some studs. Lego made a mistake when I ordered one and sent me three instead of one. The ones I got have darker breast plates than the normal ones, but it looks like from pictures that it was just a mistake. Having three of all of those figs really helped boost my collection. It looks like they are kinda expensive now however. BrickLink is pretty outrageous in prices for full figs. $5+ for just about every variety. A microfighter with a stormie would be the best way to get them in mass amounts, unless we get a battlepack. Both options could be likely for 2015.
-
I agree about the micro fighters, but I'm not sure about the new bad guys. Is episode VII going to acknowledge the already written EU, or ignore it completely? The new x wing in episode VII isn't a Z-95 at all. It is based off of the Ralph McQurrie X wing art, in which the circles split on the x wing. The Z-95 should still be cannon, since it was in TCW. I would prefer if we just got pretty generic characters in the micro fighters. I'm sure if they made some thing with a stormie in it, It would sell tremendously. That was kinda the idea for the planet sets, and I see these as an evolution of those.

I just got the X-Wing micro fighter. I actually love this little set! The mini fig has amazing printing, as does the droid head. Just need the body from the advent calender now...

The slave 1 was confirmed here a little while ago, but I'm not sure if it will be boba's or jango's. Brickset list set 75060 as being a UCS star wars set, and 75065 doesn't exist

Darn it! Beat me too it. I did make a MOC of this a few pages back, but called it the RTT, Reacon Troop Transport. (I think) -

Here's a quick pic of my current rebel pilots. A few of my pilots are currently MIA, so their not here. I'll have some more pilots after some of my BL orders come in and I go out and get the X-Wing Microfighter and the Snowspeeder. -

I agree. Having a floor for more droids would've been much better that a silly STAP launch rack. It seems like one of TLG's criteria for making sets is to have loads of pointless play features. TLG is smart enough to make better sets than these. The exposed technic parts would've been a super easy fix. Personally, this and the B-Wing are pretty bad remakes, that TLG could've done much better on. I bet there will be extensive modding done to this version just to make it somewhat decent. -
Nice job! I like the subtle changes the the main bike. The idea of the sidecar being a gunner seat is really cool. How stable is that sidecar? It's just held on by some rods.

It looks like the brown on his belt is also a bit lighter. That or it's just lighting. -
No your fine. I was just looking at chibi boba fett and thought this was the same thing.
