  1. Never looked at it that hard. I guess V.3 will be coming soon...
  2. Hi guys! Today I have my latest Moc, the Z-95 Headhunter. I think that this is one of the coolest starfighters, seeing as they've seen service before the X-WIng, and alongside it. There are a few versions of the Z-95, but I chose the one I liked best (and had nice renders for). Seeing as the Z-95 has one incarnation (albeit a clone version) and is very similar to the X-wing, I used some parts/techniques from 75004 and 9493. Overall, I'm quite pleased with how this Moc turned out. My only concerns are stability of the wings/body. The paint job is just meh, but I guess that's easily changeable. If you want to read up on the Z-95, you can do so here. Comments and criticisms are welcome, as always. I'd love to post the LFX, but I'm not really sure how to do so just yet And now, onto the pics. All pics are on my flickr. 3. I think he's referring to the Bespin guard, not boba. The previous guard had arm print (I think) and that's what he's referring to.
  4. Thanks! About the name... maybe they're freeing the people of the rebel influence? I just had to come up with something that wasn't already taken
  5. I'm not really worried about what clone, but more upset about the inconsistency. Suddenly, our arc pilots go from blue arms and legs to grey! Looks like I'll need to BL a pilot for my arc 170...
  6. This is amazing! The Ghost finally has a good lego incarnation! I really wish I could could build this instead of the dinky lego one I'd love to see the Phantom, seeing as I've been trying to mod/moc one myself, and I just want to see it Really, just a great job on this!
  7. Thanks! I could probably strengthen the connection some and make it more smooth. Good thing I'll probably never build it.
  8. This is amazing! There's so much detail! Every last part is fantastical detailed and thought out. I love the little vehicle, and for that matter, the srormtroopers!!!! Overall, just a fantastic build. Good luck!
  9. All those clones Otherwise, great build! I love the V-wing and the whole 2005-2007 vibe. (My favorite years of lego Star Wars)
  10. I agree about the dishes. I think the transparent dishes were used in the last one at the same size.
  11. I guess now we can all get hyped for this: The one weird thing is that it looks like he has light bley arms and legs, and the other ARC pilots have sand blue. Other than that, his helmet looks amazing.
  12. I'd like to see some new UCS sets. Here are a few: UCS Eta-2 intercepter - yellow, red or green UCS A-Wing - green or red UCS Tie Intercepter UCS ARC 170 UCS V-Wing
  13. I agree. Also, we just had an X-Wing UCS, so a normal Tie adversary makes sense. On the other hand though, it was red fives X-Wing, so a Tie advanced makes sense in that regard.
  14. I need some help with something, so I'll ask here. I want to be able to post LFX files from my brickshelf, but I'm not sure how. I've seen people do it all the time and I'd like to now how to as well. Any help is appreciated.
  15. I know this isn't strictly star wars related, but does anyone know how to post a LFX using brickshelf?
  16. This is my quick stab at a new bow rifle. It's a little long, but it does what it has to. Also, I couldn't find the gem I wanted so I substituted. New bo-rifle by GuyDudeMan27, on Flickr
  17. Thanks! I'll definitely use some of these techniques on my version.
  18. Hi guys! I Have a quick update to my Tie Emancipator. Mainly, I changed two things. 1: I added the non existent "light guns" I mentioned in my description. 2: I changed the way I attached the grey strips to the wings, to make it more in line with 9492. Enjoy! Tie Emancipator 2 Raw by GuyDudeMan27, on Flickr
  19. Sure. It is a black lightsaber hilt with two blaster coming out of each end. The actual version is a little hard to explain. It is basically a long stick with two energy "things" at each end. There are also some little "things" along the stick. Hope that helps!
  20. Congrats guys! On an unrelated tangent, where did that Imperial Shuttle come from!? It's perfect! I think I'll "borrow" some ideas for my system scale version.
  21. Nice work! I've been meaning to finish modding my gunship as well. I've added another door like on the CW version so it'll close all the way. I'll definitely need to make the ramp bigger now as well.
  22. Yep. It's a new book and the pic is from SW Insider
  23. I think that they mean it is is from the animated TV series, not a microfighter. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing it in a better image. Otherwise, I'll probably only be picking up the AT-DP, Tie Advanced, and the battle packs. I really can't express how excited I am for the shadow troopers. Perfection. And the red clones look nice, especially the AT-RT. I really want OT stormies, but I'll take rebels ones, mainly for the vehicle at that point. The skyhopper is very disappointing to me. The design looks ok in some places, and terrible in others. I'm probably just spoiled with RenagadeClone's version... I'll probably pick up the micro fighters solely for the figs, assuming they're good. The hailfire droid is in the same boat as Anakin's fighter, but I'll probably end up getting it too.
  24. I just got the new Star Wars Insider and they had art for the new book with Kanan And Hera. All the art had regular stormies in it. One cover even had the CG characters and normal stormies at the bottom. I think this might be reason to say they are supposed to be regular. Although, I must say the difference looks quite striking.
