  1. I finally got around to making an infinity sweep, so here are some pics of the E-wing. This is my first attempt using an infinity sweep, so any suggestions are appreciated. I've made some subtle mods, mainly the guns and the landing gear. I've also attached the LFX since the other doesn't appear to work. You can get it here. If you do build, it I'd like to see it! Enjoy! Sleeper's E-Wing Starfighter by GuyDudeMan27, on Flickr
  2. Well, there are two 'versions' if you will, of the E-Wing. The one you linked is the smoother version, and the other is a bit more angular and in line with the X-Wing. Sleepers version is kind of a mix, but more so the latter version. I quite like it with the grey nose. White would probably look good as well, but you'd need to reconstruct the nose a little.
  3. I'd love to but I'm on vacation... I'll be back tomorrow so if someone else doesn't post it I will. I built this guy and I really like it. It fits in with my other rebel fighters perfectly. I managed to build mine entirely from spare parts. Also, just a tip, you might want to replace the dbg 6.6 bar with just a 6 bar. They are crazy expensive on BL. I'll also post some pics when I get home.
  4. Me too. I'll try to mod my version into a rebels style one.
  5. Maybe because it's an .mpd? I exported mine to an .ldr for continence. I can upload it if you want.
  6. No problem. Happy to help!
  7. Why don't you sign up for Flickr? It's free and you have tons of space. It's also pretty easy to post them here.
  8. It looks just like the old one. The printed cockpit, escape pods, and engines all give it away. A new Tantive IV would be awesome though, however unlikely.
  9. This thing is amazing!!! The sheer size is fantastic. All of the open hatches make it an amazing playset, without costing any accuracy of the body! The fact that is motorized as well as having an interior is also amazing. Believe it or not, my favorite thing is actually the swamp speeder! I love little models like that. Do you have a comparison to an official TLG version? I'm guessing about x2 larger. Do you have plans for any other large vehicles/ships, because this one is fantastic!!
  10. This is awesome! The modular build style make it that much cooler. One thing I love is all the different shades of grey. It makes it look like a battle hardened war machine. The turret is a very cool idea, and I was wondering what it would look like with one on both sides... The tail is a super original idea, and one that works quite well. At first I couldn't tell that it would flip up because it blended so well! I can only imaging troopers sliding down the tail of a giant mechanical dewback The cockpit is really cool and very reminiscent of the Slave I, the Ghost, and the police gunship. I like the greebles on the inside of the cockpit, and everywhere else. They make it seem much more gritty. The only thing I dont like is the smooth area behind the cockpit, but I guess there is nothing you could really do about that. I would love an MLcad file, even if it's not finished. I'll probably play around with it a bunch for a few hours Overall this is just a fantastic build!
  11. You called it a beauty! Thanks so much! I've been working on and off on this. The last thing I was working on were the snoted wings. When I get a chance I'll take a screenshot. I'm also working on the Z-95, so this might take longer to finish up.
  12. Well, it looks like whoever it is has a vey rounded head. When you compare it to jango's it looks pretty similar.
  13. Hi guys! Today I have a quick update to my Tie Emancipator. Mainly, I've changed the connection between the wing and the actual strut, using Fuppylodders design. It also encompasses everything from the last update. Lastly, I've made it perfect for building... LFX Tie Emancipator update by GuyDudeMan27, on Flickr Oh, and I'd like to add that I updated the original post with Vean's render. Thanks so much!
  14. Like I said, I was lazy. Definitely go ahead and build it! Just post it here so I can see. I've made some slight modifications since the last update, so I'll make a point to post that before you build it.
  15. I never looked into using anything like that. When I designed the connection I did it very lazily. That looks like it would be infinitely stronger. Maybe if i try to build one I'll take that into mind. If you want a tie bomber, use cornwaille's. I am loosely trying to design one but it hasn't gotten far and would just be a rip off.
  16. I'm pretty sure it's a real build. If you look you can see some slight color variations in the snot portions. I wonder how it stands up though. The inside must be pretty technic-ed up.
  17. This is awesome! I love the snot route you took. What is the size compared to the official one?
  18. Thank you so much! I am admittedly still new to POV Ray. Also, Im glad you like it!
  19. Yes. A million times yes. I got fed up waiting so I built Cornwaille's version. It looks like an official TLG set, so I'm happy.
  20. Well, if you start off of some cantinas (you can find the lfx here) it shouldn't take too long. LDD is very intuitive and easy to use, so it's easy for beginners to jump in. The hoses are hard to angle, and there are some pretty wonky clipping/part collision physics, but this Moc should translate fine. Happy building!
  21. There's actually a really easy way to fix this. All you need is 4 6628 pieces and the existing rubber bands. Put the 4 pins in the holes in the front on the top and bottom, and string one of the 2 extra rubber bands from the back on the pins. That should eliminate the brick separating. I think that the wings might flop a little on the bottom, but I can't remember since I modded it further. Extra bands on all of the pins should fix it, but might make it harder to open. Hope this helps!
  22. Same. Hopefully it'll also sit by my Z-95. (totally not self promotion...) (also not to muddy the Z-95's histoy any more...)
  23. This is great! It has that jumbled feel that tatooine radiates. All the random angles look perfect. The minifigures are so cool! They look like they should be there! I really like the tantalizing look at the rest of tatooine. I also love that it can open up. I would really like to do something like this, but I don't have the funds or space It would be cool if there was some booths behind the bar though.
  24. I love this! It captures the tatooine feel perfectly. Is there any interior? It looks perfect for some control stations.
  25. Thanks! I really want to build this, and when I pieced it out it was only about $60. About the wings, I'll work on that over the next few days.
