Huh, so it's not only me finding Bricks and Pieces painfully slow at the moment? They say up to 2 weeks delivery, but my current delivery of just 6 parts, 1 lot, which in itself was supposed to be replacing the parts that were forgotten to be placed into my last BnP order, took 2 weeks to just ship, and a week later, it still hasn't turned up. I'm sorry to hear yours appears to be taking even longer than mine, it doesn't give me hope for my newly placed order that's for sure! I eventally caved in and placed a new order because I desperately wanted some Mixels parts in bulk (the only June release parts they actually HAD for order), at this rate I'll be lucky to see them before July The staff that work in the replacement parts warehouse obviously cannot cope with the increasing number of orders even with their recently introduced limits in place, it suggests to me that it might make a world of difference to just hire a couple of extra staff dedicated to picking BnP and replacement parts orders. As for the other June release parts, I've just given up and set up Bricklink wanted list notifications for the new parts I want. At this point I figured that would be quicker and easier for me

Today I caved in and bought Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty, Attack of the Morro Dragon and Chain Cycle Ambush, thus probaby spending far more than I should have, but I just couldn't resist them

I would say so. Between £8 and £10 would have been my guess. I remember picking up the last Chima battle pack early (before it's release on S@H) in Legoland Windsor, and I might take a trip up there tomorrow to try and get myself quite a few of the new Ninjago sets, and I'll keep my eyes open for the battle pack. They could have it out, it's worth a look!

Yeah, I never really liked Onewa's colour much myself (but I'm willing to bet that if Dark Brown had existed in 2004, we would have had a dark brown Onewa). I much prefer the current browns anyway (though the lighter variant of Dark Flesh is still about, but I hope we don't get shells in that colour for the next Toa of Stone ). And sorry to nitpick, but Chi Vardy's shells were Sand Yellow, not Brick Yellow. Brick Yellow is used in Obi-Wan and Grievous

I actually made a list of all the ghost's names: Wrayth Pyrrhus Bansha Pitch Ghurka Wail Ghoultar Ming Cyrus Cowler Hackler Attila Spyder Yokai Soul Archer Wooo Howla Morro Evil Green Ninja 19 in total, that is quite a lot if I'm honest, and I'm not even counting the Ghost Master's lower half variants here.

That's weird, they're STILL unavailable via their online service. So if I call them up, I should be able to buy all the new parts from the Ninjago sets I want? Correct? Nice find! I wonder where this came from, because it's certainly not on S@H. I'll have to keep an eye out for this one, hopefully the shop at Legoland Windsor will stock it. My local LEGO store doesn't usually stock these kind of battle packs, plus I get a nice discount perk when I buy from LLW since I have their Annual Pass Also, that shield isn't a new piece (it looks like the Captain America shield to me), BUT... it is new in black, and new as an unprinted variant, so very nice to have
-
I already mentioned Earth/Metru Blue, I desperately need it for my self-MOC who's supposed to be dark blue and black Unfortunately, we won't be seeing Onewa's colour (BL Dark Flesh) anytime soon - that colour was discontinued. But instead we could get more Reddish Brown, Dark Orange and Dark Brown shells.

Recently I have had another reason to complain, and that is that 99% of new pieces (that were new in sets that came out in May and June) on their Bricks and Pieces service have never been available to purchase, not even the ones that should be completely unaffected by license issues, like pieces and recolours exclusive to the new Ninjago, Ultra Agents, Elves sets and so on. The only new piece I could find that was purchasable was Krog's medium azure robot arms. Has anybody had any luck whatosever buying any of these newly released parts via BnP yet, either by phone, email or online? Just want to know other people's experiences so I can try them myself. I've emailed customer service expressing my disappointment (as sad as it might sound, the monthly BnP update usually brings me much joy and excitement, but not this time round!) and they said they would pass on my complaint concerning the abnormally long time new parts are labelled OOS (well, it's valid, normally these pieces are available to buy immediately), but told me they hadn't updated their stock for the new parts yet. That was 2nd June. At least I think the VIP login issues were sorted when the site went down for maintenance a few days ago, so I think LEGO may actually be listening to us

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
Erm... nothing to see here, move along now Nah, it's just stuff I got in a mixed LEGO lot a few years back and I keep forgetting to put it away. I don't have an interest in Mega Bloks Back on topic, I have a serious confession to make... I've never watched Jurassic Park before in my life. But these sets have really caught my interest and it's made me want to go see Jurassic World now, and I really hope that this line gets more than one wave. It's not the first time a LEGO line has made me want to go see the corresponding movies though, LEGO has also made me want to watch Lord of the Rings, and even Star Wars believe it or not- 1,412 replies

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nah, people do it all the time I will post some comparison pictures. I'll probably do the same with the T-Rexes when I eventually get the T-Rex Tracker. Oh, and yes I do have the Triceratops. See the end of my dinosaur line-up below- 1,412 replies

Earth Blue CCBS shells, preferably in 3M, 5M and the 2.0 torso shell, and I'd really like for the rounded detail shell to be recast in black, I can't get enough of them! Don't care what sets they appear in, just make it happen! Oh, and some trans torso bones so I can finally make a fully transparent figure, and maybe even some trans-clear CCBS. It could happen if they go down the armour-animated-by-ghosts route for Bionicle. But Earth Blue CCBS is really at the very top of my wishlist at the moment, but if they just use it as a weapon colour, I won't be impressed

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm fine with one to be honest. I'm more a collector than an army builder, but this poly will be opened and the (not) Gallimimus will go live with my other Coelophysis from the 2012 line Maybe I'll post some comparison pictures when I do get it, but I can't see that happening for at least 2 weeks (it's coming from Canada). Oh, and I'm female despite what everything else you see next to my posts suggests- 1,412 replies

I will be honest, I'm not completely satisfied with the leg (or rather foot) design I came up with for the Ronin set's dragon, but I've now replaced it with a simpler method inspired by the Mixels. I didn't design the Cowler Dragon's legs with standing in mind, but pretty sure the other two would be able to stand. Oh, and giving them legs I think matches them better with the ghost dragon in Destiny's Bounty, which does have legs. But then again, might these ghost dragons be made of ectoplasm themselves, hence have no need for legs, and this is what the designers intended?
-
Yeah, they're nice in themselves as sidekick builds, and I was quite surprised the dragon in the Blaster Bike set can actually pull off some nice flying poses even though it suffers from the "Ender Dragon" problem (it can only be posed in a linear fashion). The legs and extra articulation were more of an experiment to see what they looked like with appendages. If you can think of a way to shorten the legs, please do tell me (though the large feet might exacerbate the largeness of the legs). As far as I'm aware, it's virtually impossible to go any shorter for the two small dragons without going to illegal and/or unstable builds. The builds you see there would be pretty robust except maybe for one type of barb connection.
-
You're right, but you know, I did actually make an on topic post on the last page alluding to the Ghost Dragons and what mods could be done to make them better, which everybody completely ignored as they started talking about Ronin's hair colour (of all things)! This topic can go pretty off topic once in a while though, it's kind of normal. So, as an attempt to swing this back on topic, does anybody think the smaller ghost dragons in the sets look better with legs (like the ones I posted earlier), or are people okay with how they currently appear in the sets?

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh yeah, I forgot the baby T-Rex piece existed there But, as luck would have it, I finally have a Gallimimus (oh how I absolutely hate calling it that ) poly on the way! Now all I need is Raptor Rampage and T-Rex Tracker and I'm done for this theme. If only all those beautiful Ninjago sets that just came out weren't eating into my budget... Erm... it has a poor price per piece ratio and the raptors don't fit into the back of the truck? That's all I can think of- 1,412 replies

I really like that there is a dragon in most of the sets of this wave, but can't really help feeling a bit underwhelmed by them, so I thought I'd give them legs and more poseability options... Ninjago Ghost Dragon modifications by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Sure, there's some substitutions on the big guy on the right (because the Chima flames he uses aren't in LDD ), and in some cases I needed to use these pieces such as on the middle dragon's feet (they're not in LDD either!), but all 3 of these can be built in real life. I might knock up some instructions for these guys at some point...
-
Huh? That's odd, there's no IP problem either so really surprised they even suggested that. For reference, here's the exact email they sent me (this doesn't just apply to Ninjago parts, I inquired about some UA and Elves unique elements too): So there you have it. I'm really surprised you got a completely different response. This was the response I got from the customer service based in the UK.

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
Anything that would be an excuse to get more dinosaurs really I wouldn't mind seeing a vet and dinosaur polybag, with another recoloured Coelophysis (well, a Triceratops in a polybag is about as likely as me winning the lottery ) and a Vet with a couple of pieces of vet equipment, even if that's unlikely. But we have much more chance of seeing an ACU polybag I think.- 1,412 replies

Well, there is a bit of a result. Customer Service sent me an email back and they said all the new parts were out of stock, but that was apparently just because they needed to log them onto the system. Yes, I can believe that, that happened last June and they had 99% of new parts marked in stock within a week then, so I'm hopeful. I say check back next week. The only things that probably won't be in stock are fabric items, like the Morro Dragon wings, and items that come in their own bag (though that probably doesn't apply to these sets). Everything else is probably fair game. So no, I don't think there's any real motive to get people to buy the full sets here

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
I ended up getting Rocket from the TRU stand at Brick 2014, so I don't need one, but thanks for offering anyway I was just saying I'd never seen it in my local TRU, despite the fact it's LEGO section is enormous... It's ironic to think that I've had more luck finding polybags in temporary TRU's that no longer exist- 1,412 replies

Not exactly. I think that this tactic (if it is a tactic and not just some sort of glitch) would actually drive business towards the secondary market (after all, it's what I'd turn to). And we all know LEGO doesn't necessarily like resellers, but that's a whole different discussion And I'd be buying all the Ninjago sets anyway, but I do like to keep them together. Plus, I need a lot of Spring Yellowish Green barbs, more than what all the sets combined offer (counting spares). I can understand minifigures, but doing it for new parts that people will want to MOC with? I can see that outraging a lot of MOC'ists...
-
Bought the full set of Series 5 Mixels today, as well as some Bionicle related collectibles and the last couple of parts needed for an MOC.

Ah, I hadn't had time to fully read into LEGO Worlds, but I had the suspicion that Worlds was probably to blame for the delayed brick update ever since we first learned of Worlds. Nonetheless, you're probably correct, thinking about it, and it'd be a nice surprise if LDD finally gets upgraded to LDD 5 with vastly improved features thanks to Worlds. Well, one can hope anyway! As long as LDD itself stays free to use, I'm not complaining.
