The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Transparency for Effect replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm kicking myself for missing out on the simple newspaper thing to get Pajama Emmet, and now he costs £10 :C- 2,626 replies

[MOC] - A Nice Big BURP....
Transparency for Effect replied to CamelBoy68's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks! -
I'm pretty sure there was a female jester in one of the Dacta sets of recent years, with other Historical(?) things. It was just like the Castle one, but with a female face.

My two cents: Space Miner? - Eh. Wizard - Presents a different type of wizard well enough. Not bad. Dino Tracker - Oh goodie, this means more females than expected! :3 Other than that, ho-hum. Looks like it could fit in with the last Dino theme, though. Battle Goddess - Ah, it's Greek. Looks like it accurately represents its subject matter. Swashbuckler - Looks like an accurate and well cone representation of its subject matter. Video Game Guy - Just a 1x2 tile and reused headphones headpiece. Bah.

Those Simpsons ones are hilarious, it's like a fever dream. Has anyone done a review of them yet?

Mistika prototypes closer to 2002 Toa?
Transparency for Effect posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Do we have images of the prototypes of the Toa Mistika that were supposedly closer to the 2002 Toa Nuva? -
[MOC] - A Nice Big BURP....

Nice builds! Can we get more images of them to build our own? :3 -
No, because they'd just come off when you'd lift the minifigure off of a studed surface. That's the reason the Studios Frankenstein couldn't have it. I'm also surprised they haven't really reused (to my knowledge, at least) the really tall Woody/Jessie legs.

Non-physical Lego Characters In Physical?
Transparency for Effect replied to Dorayaki's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh please, don't apologize for it :p I suppose you could fashion a MOC of some kind, a red ball joint, Mixel eyes, a "dish" piece, etc. Love to see somebody give it a shot. On a side note, I've been planning out my own Clutch Powers figures: Clutch Powers Headpiece: Proper black hairpiece (Eric/Jack Fury) Head: or Torso: Indiana Jones's Legs: Woody's (Hips) and normal blue (Legs) (as illustrated in this pic) Bernie Von Beam Headpiece: I got nothing; not only can't I find any hair even remotely resemblant (spiky) to his in orange (even the flat top due to Brick Masterson's usage of it), but I also can't find the wheel piece he places on his head in orange, and it doesn't fit on a minifigure head realistically anyway. So just pretend he's "bald" like when he's without his hair in the film. Head: Torso: Not a perfect fit, but this green jacket: Legs: Just plain bright orange, though the hips could be more accurate (missing the belt) Brick Masterson Headpiece: Silver Fireman Hat or Brown (not sure which brown) flat top hair. Head: (could be more accurate, maybe?) Torso: City Forest Fireman Legs City Forest Fireman (Hips) and normal dark bley (Legs) Peg Mooring Headpiece: Not the most accurate, but perhaps the closest you could get to it. Head: Torso: I have no idea, so possibly just plain dark red with yellow arms. Legs: Possibly just plain dark red. Please say if your have any superior suggestions! -
A closer look at Emmets apartment building
Transparency for Effect replied to Super Goblin's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I've heard the Blu-ray has a layer-by-layer build of the building so, can we virtually be guaranteed a 1:1 MOC of it? -

For one thing, I've heard that the Blu-ray has a layer-by-layer build of Emmet's apartment That'd be cool if you had the resources to make it :D- 2,626 replies

More completely transparent minifigs and minifig parts would always be a plus, like an Invisible Man (I can't think of much others actually ).

Does anyone know about 66158?
Transparency for Effect replied to Transparency for Effect's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I'd think if it had building instructions, the maybe that would contribute to its possible legitimacy. -
A lot of these do sound like interesting takes for the CMs and very implementable, and it's always good to have more monster figures :3

Hey, I'd be okay with an original series instead of a year entirely to do with external licenses
