  1. 'Kay so, apparently the original price for the 10190 Market Street was $90.00 (hmm, may have never got released in the UK). Will this bring the price closer to the original base price? What are some of the prices for each of the different (mostly earlier) buildings you guys have got?
  2. Well, there are those Hello Kitty vibrators, so...
  3. This could be a topic for multiple uses of this idea, right?
  4. Professor Frink and Moe.
  5. Not sure if it counts as licensed (it IS listed under licensed themes despite being recursively based off of the company's own property) but it annoys me that Michelangelo (as well as The Statue of David and Traffic Enforcer) isn't a physical thing; it leaves the collection of Master Builders incomplete.
  6. Well, both Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann think it's a good idea.
  7. Thanks! Although with how I'm using the baseplates they are the very bottom of the construction, but I assume I can just do this with those as well, right?
  8. Simpsons already has a set costing more than a Modular Building!
  9. Would anyone recommend this as a cost-effective way of getting one of these quite costly Modular Buildings?
  10. So, I'm starting to work on this LEGO City, but a lot of the buildings I'm using have baseplates at the bottom, and I'm wondering what the best way is to use them with other baseplates, like the road ones. I've seen it done before, with buildings like the Modular Buildings.
  11. Not even if I squeeze it together for a while?UPDATE: I've managed to squeeze it back in on itself and put it back to a normal shape. It has a weird line going across it though, but I can deal with that for now.
  12. Sorry, I typed in the wrong word there. And I referring to how they use LEGO as a lame "We build on each other" message in Clutch, while in The LEGO Movie they don't even mention the word 'LEGO' within the entire body of the film.
  13. I recently found all four old wheel pieces necessary to rebuild the 8360 Racers, but the racer's yellow helmet is bent, unfortunately. I wonder, is there any way I can straighten it to work again, such as using pliers?
  14. Team Clutch wins. Their movie doesn't even mention the word LEGO. And wow, he does look like him if he got some stubble. Funny, I just put back the Indiana Jones figure to normal...
  15. That's incredible! Thanks for telling me that. Incidentally, according to IMDB: in a reference to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Funny to think that after they couldn't get Indiana Jones in their movie they not only bring in an Indiana Jones analogue of LEGO's to make a cameo instead, but also give him something Indy-related to do. Maybe it was a leftover from this earlier version, but I'd have to check the script. Makes you wonder why they'd ever get Clutch when they can not only have the actual Indiana Jones, but also a pretty good backup. I'll see what other characters are in the script. INCLUDING BIONICLE. Hero Factory on the other hand, already showed that in the adverts. Like how the cameos in Backlot and Blacked Eyed Piece fit in with Bionicle's storyline?
  16. Well it seems so far that you could just swap Irnakk with Vezok's head and remove the tubes, but I don't know where that leaves the "pin" in his "neck" that would be connected to the tubes, the colour of the other neck piece and if it uses the three additional "long pin" pieces that come with Irnakk despite not using the other Irnakk pieces; if it's really built from just those three Piraka then where did those pins in the hand come from?
  17. Yeah, but they never made it in black, right? Do you think his head fits? Are there any characters in that script that didn't make it into the movie, by the way?
  18. How so again? 'Course, you could always make your own Clutch minifigure: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/nori-gallery/movies/clutch-powers/clutchpowers4.jpg
  19. Both movies have a character putting a wheel on his head in place of a head piece! If your theory was true, it makes me glad I watched it in anticipation of TLM. And who knows, maybe he'll be a master builder in the next one, just to give back for "setting the groundwork". (Of course, I'd also like to see mentions of properties like Toy Story, Doctor Who if they make Cuusoo sets of it, maybe sets like Galidor just to take the piss out of...) He had a 4-D ride, a DVD short and a mention on Ninjago the series.
  20. UPDATE! Well, I finished my "recreations" of them through definitives, assumptions and guesses of the building, and here's what I got: http://www.brickshel...14/dscn9936.jpg http://www.brickshel...14/dscn9939.jpg
  21. Yeah, but a Matoran also appeared in the LEGO Studios online Backlot game, and a Rahski in this LEGO Club segment:
  22. Just as well, his theme has gone over to Mega Bl**ks. I don't have the exact same thing as what you guys have going, but as soon as the LEGO City is in an at least somewhat admirable state, there's hopefully going to be an overwhelming sense of anachronism, with the town being able to be simultaneously occupied by residents (at least one per theme) of CM, HERO Factory, Mixels, Bionicle, Fabuland, Alien Conquest, Super Heroes, Knights Kingdom, Jack Stone, Clutch Powers (custom), Castle, Space, Toy Story, Basic (those McDonalds "Monster" sets released ages ago), TLM, Spongebob, DUPLO, Monster Fighters, classic "no-face" minifigures, Pirates, Creator, Games, Belville, Western, Adventurers, Sports, Racers, Technic and whatever else I at the very least have a representative of. I could even throw in Ollie the Dragon in there! They could live there peacefully or they could be a part of a dangerous "interdimensional" rift that has struck the town and doomed its people.
  23. I already tried making the second one from that really tiny image, and I more or less just swapped the head on my recreation of Irnakk (I didn't have the set) from Thok to Vezok for the first one.
