The Bus, Pizzeria and Bike Shop are from the City Corner, the House is from the City House, the TRU is from the TRU Delivery Truck set and the weird Blue car is from Alien Conquest. -

Homages to the McToran sounds cool, minus the fast food chain deal presumably as that has gotten less and less likely over the years (last time we had CUPS based off of TLM).- 16,226 replies

There were also the Rahaga (who were later unmutated back into their Toa selves), and maybe we could also pretend this is supposed to be Turaga Jovan:- 16,226 replies

Plus he didn't really say where he got his information from. That wasn't definitively put forward as Turaga Lhikan but yeah, I'd like to think that it was him. Should I get the set?- 16,226 replies

Well I got my Batman from a Daily Mail DC Superheroes polybag But you know, for everyone else. And that Angry Kitty is a pro, and it also comes with his gun. I can't wait to see what other characters and sets the third wave brings!- 2,626 replies

Wow, that is pathetic, and probably disgusting at a $15-$20 mark. It's got to be a smaller box at around $10, right?- 2,626 replies

The one Unikitty that's the normal style but a different expression and it has to be a Comic-Con Exclusive? Can we make some decals that resemble it instead? But the fact the line will continue into 2015 supposedly is great! Though, the shown set doesn't have the most going for it besides a new Unikitty (which they should really release the brick model of, and this would have been a good time to it) and Batman's weapons (assuming he isn't a slightly new release himself). Here's hoping we get more interesting TLM sets, because if freaking PIXAR Cars can get sets in a year without a movie, than so can LEGO's own movie! It was nearly feasible for CMs until they introduced freaking Mr. Gold Toy Story I think you can 100% collect feasibly.- 2,626 replies

For £3 I got a box that was assorted of LEGO and non-LEGO, and I came out with that Rabbit Head Slope piece, cream/blonde classic female town hair, some miscellaneous printed race car (?) parts and others.

Six of one! But I don't know, there should be a thick line between helpful rewriting and alienating older fans by removing certain traditions. Honestly, for the rule of six thing unless it's something like the Matoran, if it's not broken don't fix it.- 16,226 replies

Yeah, if anything it'd be lazy to just switch around the genders of characters to fix the ratio. Plus the internet has enough Rule 63 as it is... Oh dear christ, no. I'd rather it'd stay dead. Now if you're talking Lord and MIller... Eh, fine by me. Let's see, to the common consumer Bionicle would instead have things like... Collectible (or at least a great focus on) masks A greater focus on elements A different setting A consistent product style Specific groups of things, often in six Care to add?- 16,226 replies

Oh, was I the one to start this off? The problem is, they missed the boat with both Hero Factory and Glatorians, which didn't have that pesky rule, so that kind of lowers the chances for when they do possibly have to deal with it. Seriously, there was no excuse for not including more in Hero Factory, and they still haven't done that over the 5 years it's nearly been here for. A female constraction line would be more divisive sure, but it seems more likely than what's going on right here. I don't know, gender-swapping the characters like that seems weird... But back on topic, how close can the new pieces potentially resemble the old ones (eg certain masks) if the moulds are absent (and if, indeed, this is all true; let's speculate :b )?- 16,226 replies

Yeah, if they can say those Matoran go either way gender-wise, and recton the romance, they can pretty much recton the whole one gendered tribe thing. In fact I think someone pointed out that Matorans not quite questioning Vezok being a male Toa of Water and they seeing that as normal counts as male (or trans, if you want to go the Tumblr route XD) Toas of Water existing. Just a crazy idea, but does anyone think it might be a little good that females were less feminised because it doesn't make them sexualized or objectified in that manner, or does that cancel out? Since when are there rules on head canon or not? If we want, we could headcanon that Emmet is an alternative universe variant of Vezon because they both get hunted for things accidentally attached to them. If there truly is new Bionicles, I hope they still make awesome Titans like they used to (like Gadunka, Maxilos & Spinax and Jetrax T6). If they can manage to make the Hero Factory system do that, then that'd be really great.- 16,226 replies

Would they still have to deal with the romance, gender ratio and less feminine feminine characters, because it's quite disappointing Hero Factory carried over the tradition of one female character to several. That being said, let's not go all Tumblr over this Could be the one exclusive Summer Wave set?- 16,226 replies

Ooh, that'd be cool! And to see the original Toa back not in their Mistika/Phantoka redesigns... Incidentally, are the Phantoka usually considered better than the Mistika?- 16,226 replies

I saw a bag of Fabuland and old LEGO in a charity shop once, but unfortunately it get sold before I could get it, which I kind of regret now.
-
Which Fabuland set was that, then? As a side note, I've often found very old LEGO sets for sale in shops casually on my yearly holiday to Spain, presumably years after their discontinuation. Including but not limited to: (In chronological (?) order, though looking at it now, they all seem to come from around 2002) 8552 & 8553 Lehvak Va & Pahrak Va Years later... 8550 Gahlok Va 4612 Super Glider (XD yes, I know) 8471 Nitro Burner

In a hypothetical way, how many new parts could come from the theme? It's funny that Bionicle cameo'd in The LEGO Movie because Also, how there was no Hero Factory reference, maybe because it may still be getting its own film? (Though, Ninjago had cameos, but maybe that's the whole point...)- 16,226 replies
