  1. Does anyone else find it freaking hilarious the youtube ad was removed by warner bros?
  2. Remakes of remakes, as it were. But again, if they are better executed remakes of awesome sets, then that'd be great.
  3. I kind of wish I still had some of the canisters. What was the compatibility/story relevance of all of them again? I believe it went something like... Toa Mata/Nuva - Arrived in them story-wise (former), could place masks/pins on them Bohrok/Kal - "Slept" in them story-wise, could hang Bohrok upside down inside them Rahkshi - Could place Kraata on them Toa Metru - Lids could use pins (?), discs and join together to make the matoran balls seen in the story 2005 canisters - Could place Rhoutaka on them 2006 canisters- Light up features Toa Mahri - Pin compatibility (supposed to be battle stations for them, apparently?)
  4. I have the three movies, Bionicle Heroes and a couple of books :D
  5. Good concept, better execution, but maybe only if they were going to be different characters than the first wave.
  6. Would be a nice icing on the cake, though; if they can't get gears, collectibles or old story, we at least have that back!
  7. I'm pretty sure they've probably sorted out the lime green issues by now but, prove me wrong. Wow, I've just checked the Kraata; imagine the Rahkshi variations they could have spawned from all those wild colours.
  8. Ooh, like Stars, but less sparingly crafted (still likeable, but simply comprised of similar, very small and limited piece builds). Someone already mentioned transparency, but was there any feeling, at the very least for the right type of mask?
  9. I saw a Toa Hordika Matau sealed for cheap in a charity shop, but didn't get it because I already had it and, what not. Does it count?
  10. I'm pretty sure they shot down the many proposals of studios for a Bionicle film because they all wanted humans in it, and that's why they went with the DTV films but, I could be wrong on that. There was the brief mention in TLM, also. I actually always missed out on the collectables for whatever reason (maybe it was a LEGO Store-exclusive thing; I never had one of those nearby for a long time, and the Birmingham one annoyingly shut down...) so I can't really relate, but I can get into it if the concept is redone if this is all true. I assume they were like the Collectible Minifigures of yesteryear?
  11. Okay, sorry While Gresh lacks its blend of colours from the previous design, it works well enough for a minuscule variation, I suppose. And yeah with Skrall, you have the ball joint, the awkwardly-"outed" arm pieces and that unconfortabley long head... But couldn't they put in others, since 2009 had just happened before and there were none from 2004-2005 at all? What was the canonical explanation for Takua and Gresh shrinking, again? At any rate, starting out with sets that are kind of reminiscent in the same way Stars was isn't necessarily a bad thing to me, especially as there was only one wave of Stars (if that's what we're seeing here, what with interpretations of Tahu, Fikou/Visorak, Kopaka, etc.).
  12. While White Takaunuva can go die in a hole, I can accept Tahu/Golden Toa, Rahkshi and Piraka. The others are from 2009 so, meh.
  13. Incidentally, he also told me that he wouldn't be keen on the idea of Bionicles in TLM 2 because making fun of it was something they were fairly strict about while they were making it, because it'd detract from the "epic" feel. So yeah, that's kinda neat, what you posted there
  14. As mentioned before, the one in the top does look a lot like video game Tahu Nuva. Could be coincidence, but still...
  15. Quite interesting, this calendar features a Halloween creation very similar to what would later be released as the 850487 Halloween Accessory Set:
  16. I don't know if this is ironic, but I've heard of and checked the second hand prices on the Monster Fighters Zombies set which I have. I really can't complain anymore.
  17. Not bad. Especially with the price in mind, may pick it up at some point. Now they better make Doctor Who next.
  18. Um, any part from TLM that isn't an actual part, so the movie really is something you can make entirely out of LEGO ;)
  19. There were also prototypes of the Mistika that were said to be closer to the 2002 originals, but they may have remained only viewable to those inside the LEGO company, or something.
  20. Funny, I have thoughts of making a "LEGO-LEGOLand" and then this pops up.
