  1. Assuming said information is correct, and the series is indeed not based off of the MMO: Space Miner - Not sure what this is supposed to imply. Battle Goddess - A female warrior does sound like a good concept. Wizard - Interesting to see if it looks more interesting than the Castle Wizards. Dino Tracker - Not sure what this is supposed to be, and if it'd be interesting without a Dinosaur anyway. Swashbuckler - Sounds like it could be a cool pirate. Jester - It'd be interesting to see the CM take on a Jester. Piggy Guy - Another animal character? Okay. Hun Warrior - Again, it's nice to see such a character idea. Fairytale Princess - Again, it seems interesting as to what direction the CM may take this. Pizza Delivery Man - Cool idea! Video Game Guy - Likewise, especially if they come up with a new mould like a video game controller. Spooky Girl - Still wondering what this could be. Prospector - It sounds nice to have more alternative roles for Pirates and Cowboys. Genie Girl - Like "I Dream of Genie"? Rock Star - Been done. Lifeguard - Been done, unless they take it a different direction or it's a male one. Sounds good to me!
  2. I'm really curious as to what the Spooky GIrl is, probably something Horror related, right? We could always use more of those.
  3. Well, we had fleshies and yellow characters in the same set (twice if you count the Cinema promotional set).
  4. Got one as a gift yesterday, and to my joy, it was Bart! Which goes well with Milhouse and Lisa :3
  5. Not sure if I'm interested in any of the newer expensive sets besides maybe Emmett's Mech. It also annoys me how I've missed out on both Pyjamas Emmett offers, and now they cost £10 a pop :/
  6. Problem. This works for flat surfaces, but whatever I try with studs on the very bottom, there's always some imbalance. Help?
  7. Behold, the grandaddy of non-physical characters... Reminded me of Little Robots, which LEGO also had connections to.
  8. Back on topic, simply put, I completely agree with this point made about the first film and if it passes the Bechdel test: "Wait..unikitty doesn't count because she's not a human character? Uh, NONE of them were human, they were all Lego people..." The test is passed instantly at the 0:43 mark of .
  9. Question: Was the wheel piece used on Bernie Von Beam's head even physical?
  10. Out of curiosity, how much does around twenty pieces cost from "Bricks and Pieces", since this topic seems relevant to it? I'm trying to rebuild the Apple Tree House and I'm close to having all the necessary pieces :) To get this back on topic, how is everyone's modular buildings coming along picture-wise?
  11. Plus the minor fact they don't actually have the rights to Spongebob any more Maybe the Spongebob set appeared in the Simpsons episode purely because it was either a carry over from the episode's long production period or it just didn't bother anyone that it was used They were actually going to put in a standalone Duplo minifigure as a character in this original script, appropriately speaking in extremely simple terms, and there was of course that Duplo reference in 'Brick Like Me' where the younger, baby character (Maggie) is one of the figures ("They're so cute when they're Duplo!"). To be honest, besides using up older and unused themes (that kind of sounds unlikely in itself), I can kind of only see them using Jack Stone ironically, much less they also use someone like Clutch Powers. Besides, why not just make your own?
  12. She brings in more female characters! Great idea! So I suppose no 4 Juniors figures or Galidor either?Vampyre's Bride isn't a CM, but it'd be interesting to have such an antagonist be one of the main team characters (or Alien Queen).
  13. Outside of Bionicle, if we're choosing plain System sets then they were certainly lesser at that time, but I guess it could be something like Jack Stone X-Pod. I used to love that when I was younger, even though we only had two of them.
  14. I remember they WERE going to make a Phineas and Ferb board game, but it got shelved. It's instructions are still available however... http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/3868_Phineas_and_Ferb
  15. Having any Disney-original characters in there would be a great idea, especially since they got Star Wars in there. Like Toy Story :3 The Monster Fighters world also sounds good, especially since there's a whole collection of classic monsters in LEGO, MFs or not. Marvel has met DC in the past, but it would also be an absolute clusterfuck of rights to deal with in every direction (mostly if you consider ALL Marvel superheroes; aren't movie rights held up between Disney, Sony and Fox? Does it still count if it's LEGO? Etc.).
  16. Gali or Nokama from Bionicle would be awesome. How's that? Just because they've lost the license of Spongebob to Mega Bloks? They still have TMNT, and weirdly enough, a Spongebob set actually appeared in the recently aired 'Brick Like Me' epsiode I'm still confused as to how that works...
  17. http://www.huffingto..._n_5124829.html Great news! It really pleases me to hear they're addressing could-be-better representation of women the first movie arguably had. :3 So, just for fun, what pre-existing LEGO characters would you like to see in the next LEGO Movie? Here are some of my ideas: (More of) Wonder Woman Fabuland Representatives (like Bonnie Bunny, it'll be funny to see whether they 'count' or not) Ann Lee and the Vampyre/Zombie Brides from Monster Fighters CM's Cheerleader and the (for some reason controversial?) Female Scientist Simpsons Representatives Have fun!
  18. Someone should Cuusoo Ideas that.
  19. Seems like Disney has a phobia of putting its mainline classic characters in proper minifig/system form. Mickey - Fabuland/Duplo Winnie the Pooh - Duplo (twice) Disney Princess - Friends/Duplo Peter Pan (Jake and the Neverland Pirates) - Duplo
  20. Come to think of it, narrowing down buildings that are too costful (including Bricklinking individual pieces), already present in building type in town or just plain "eh", leaves me with the Grand Emporium and Parsian Resturaunt of the Modular Buildings and the Monster Fighters Haunted House for the hypothetical single £100 large building to occupy the town. I personally think the Haunted House might be the better option; it practically completes the theme, it may be the most suited for a single large building in town (as opposed to just one modular?) and just plain looks awesome enough. Might change my mind, but it seems like the most reasonable choice to me.
  21. Sorry, the Simpsons house costing more. Speaking of which, if I was going to get a single Modular Building or the Haunted House, what would it be? The latter seeing how it's just the one?
  22. Speaking of which, how come it costs more than any Modular Building, other than the Town Hall?
