  1. I didn't want to but my daughter suggested that's where it would go because it would say AL's PETS.
  2. So, I finally started rebuilding my modular sets now that I have set up my basement hobby room. The Detective's Office in between the pet shop and the town house bookended by the Perisian Restaurant and the Palace Theater. The DO really does need the roof addition to make it taller.
  3. That's from Robot Chicken, right?
  4. This looks amazing! We just recently bought this comic and would love it if this was a real set.
  5. Wonderful modular for all those various kitchen items!
  6. Nicely done, Fry!
  7. The Dalek is a very simple build because of the game. Look for it to be rebuild-able into a vehicle or a weapon. Just like K9 and the TARDIS. I suspect that whatever Doctor Who related set come from Ideas, the Dalek, if included, will probably be a little different. I think the issue most have with the Dalek is the fact it is not rounded and/or made from specialised bricks as the other brick company did.
  8. I could see an arcade building fitting in with the 1920s/1930s era feeling the current sets embody. Here is a 1940s era arcade. The arcade was originally a 1910s era bank building: https://vintageportland.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/a2005-001-1113-sw-4th-and-washington-north-1946.jpg
  9. The square I created before packing up and moving from the US to Germany used an all white minifig for the white fountain that had been created.
  10. Good review. We got this for my daughter last year, and she loves it for its play vlaue.
  11. LS, absolutely brilliant work on that square! It gives me some inspiration on one I will be setting up as soon as I have room.
  12. Beautiful! Awesome use of scale.
  13. That is absolutely amazing! Love the details you did inside and out. Your layout and booth execution are perfect in style and function.
  14. Holy snap and click, those are amazing! Can't wait to see more.
  15. Looking forward to seeing this with buildings.
  16. Love to roof mod. I think I might borrow that idea once I get around to adding some extra floorspace to the ground floor.
  17. Sweet ride! Great use for the mini figure stand, too!
  18. New pieces are always welcome!
  19. Wow! My daughter would love to have that setup to play with. Hell, I would love to have all those sets just to build. Great work, LS!
  20. PVP, what mods did you make to the inside of Al's? That building MOD looks great! Yet another mod to this set that makes the build look like it could be two separate buildings like the Pet Shop set.
  21. Talos, what you did to the Highlander is what I was thinking of doing to mine. That bar is just screaming to go to the edge of the plate and not be so limited. To bad Al's can't be expanded the same way with out moving the stairs.
  22. LegoSjaak, nice job on the expansion! How does the insides look now?
  23. Looks cool! My only suggestion would be to change the front to where the driver is looking forward and not down as he is currently.
  24. Could just call it SNIPS or CLIPS...
  25. This configuration looks the best out of the two.
