Having only just seen this... I for one think it a real shame that this is only in Minifig Cutomisation - this would inspire tons of people over on Historical in my opinion.. Much love D -
It's ALL good but the belt is the real killer - perfect combination of simplicity and design - clip and a bucket handle... Genius!

Where do you think YOU'RE going, fancy pants?

You know what I'm not sure that's true... The purple shielded lot (South) have more. Ground troops around the flanks and will most likely crush the centre in a pincer movement! The 5 xbow men on higher ground is somewhat troubling but their rate of fire isn't too quick and the armoured and shielded purples will be in the midst of their own troops in furious melee after just one shot so they're unlikely to be decisive! The build and that battle scene is gloriously tense BTW - nice one!

Don't forget it isn't just independent sellers that sell army stuff - I have a LOT of Orc/Goblin stuff for sale via PM here (see trade/bazaar) or on BL!

Another beautiful historically themed MOC dude - but please tell me... Where are the blue shields from... Part of me thinks they look familiar but I have no idea where I might have seen them! D

I need Lego shavings for project, but how?

Not to be too picky but IF you were doing a bald spot wouldn't you remove some hair to cause a depression before you put the flesh colour in? What you have here is more of a comb over.. Like the minifig is trying to hide his thinking hair... -
Yeah I knew the queen one just couldn't make out the lobster armour... Brickwarriors stuff is great isn't it? Mebbe they could be short beards? (Very VERY short beards!! Heh) OR maybe they shave their beards when they join the army (as rookies) and the older they get the longer the beards are... It's just a rookie army that's all!

Can I agree with the Dancer on this one... although I haven't been so brave as to mix the pots (and I tend to paint in acrylics as I'm more used to it and it's water based so easier for me to clean up my messes! And Revel do the same range in acrylic also.. yay!) so I mix the batches every time I want to paint some ears... none the less - you don't need very much of the Lufthansa yellow... it is quite orangey so just add little bits at a time as he says! Now you'll DEFFO like this... Take a rgb/html colour code from here... http://rebrickable.com/colors (or an alternative list) Stick it in here... http://scalemodeldb.com/paint hit the "show matching paint" button - and tadaaaa - a whole bunch of ranges and shades - as close to the original as possible... it doesn't have the Citadel/GW paint range... but I think I've seen comparable charts for this so it shouldn't be too tough to double check. Hopefully this will help start people off! Much Love D -
+1 to the ad pages (perhaps we should encourage him to post in a more viewer friendly site?) but yes - definitely some good ideas there!
