  1. Eurobricks auto-correct FTW! Megablocks = @$$... brilliant! *roflmao* Thank you! :D
  2. Meg@Block$? How dare you sir - I only use pure Lego / BrickWarriors elements or my own custom fabrics / stickers! Grrrr
  3. Nice! Any more shots of the well and the cart?
  4. Just a small unit of bald battle monks for a human faction to be completed sometime in the future (after the greenskins obviously) posted here because I don't believe 3 minis makes an army (sorry!) - who said I'm only about the LegoIDEAS? :D Weapons as ever by BrickWarriors - apart from the hammer I modded to make it look "better" :P *duck* Gotta love them bald battled-scarred berserk boys in billowing bloomers bludgeoning baddies with big blunt-force bashers! :D
  5. Thanks! We just need 9900 more of your close personal friends to support too! :D
  6. Thank you! ( feel free to support if you haven't already :D )
  7. Thanks AP... still about 9900 odd votes short so really appreciate it! :D
  8. We have Medieval Market Village / Temple of Airjitsu / Kingdoms Joust - all good sets... but in terms of having a lot of grey for castles we grabbed 4 of the most recent Kings' Castle sets... Coupled with a whole mess of 4x1 light bley bricks and 2x4 dark bley bricks (from your local PAB store) you can make a really big castle :D
  9. Is that what the other one did? Wow! BTW I must send you private email (just to update with sneak peak of latest build)
  10. hehe only teasing its fine :P I saw him whilst researching before... whilst I was wondered about posting on IDEAS in the first place - I had never played any Zelda much so had no idea of who he was. In fact I hadn't known he was from Zelda until someone commented and I googled it! (Still think mine is better though :D)
  11. I reckon LDD will be updated more regularly in the future - you heard it hear first! :D
  12. Seen him but Nah... (its just King Bulblin from Zelda apparently) Goblins are too weak to hang on and ride war boars in my mythos... its for the big boys only! :D
  13. Feel free - its quite a simple build really! :D
  14. Thank you - if you have a moment I'd really appreciate any support on LegoIDeas :D Oh that's cool - I know little about Scandinavian mythology! And thank you for supporting 2 out of my 4 projects - that's really kind. The thing is with your projects is that they're themed in something that I don't tend to collect - I'm not particularly pirate-y I'm afraid sorry :( Do you have any castle / medieval themes coming up?
  15. I like it - a good solid structure! Functional - hard to assault... does what it's meant to do and looks imposing! :D
  16. Thanks - but I disagree about you being "intermediate" - you've got great skills dude! I'm strictly a small "thing" builder for battles... but to be able to build such a skillfully big yet consistently inventive MOC... All good nothing bad :D
  17. Fantastic! I love it... The pathfinder mat works really well and the barrel stools are a nice touch :D
  18. They are the wargs from LOTR sets - but in my mythos they are wolves... (although I'm not really sure on one level how much of a real difference there is between wargs / (giant) wolves / dire wolves... they're big, they bark and howl, they have teeth and they bite. Hard! :D
  19. Yeah I had fun with the build and I had lots of fun with the story - thanks! Actually I had no idea about the spider in Harry Potter until I looked it up... sorry to all you... erm... Pottists? Pott-heads? out there but I must be a muggle of the worst order seeing as I frankly can't stand anything to do with HP and it's mythos. It just does nothing for me! :D
  20. Heh - you ain't seen nothing yet! *wink* I'm not saying I have as many greenskins as elves... but its close :D
  21. So how can we make this happen then? Any suggestions? :D
  22. Hmm I do have some of these - it will go on the list of things to try at some point, thanks Mr Roy! :D Thanks - I tried to make it Goblin-y as opposed to my Elf chariot which is sleeker and more Elf-y (IMHO at least!). The heroica figure is an Orkling... (baby orc) who IS beating a rhythm on the war drum... but yes that picture (no 5) slipped in by mistake... I've notified them and they're removing it from the project as it got submitted in error *facepalm* and replacing it might give give me a better chance of not getting kicked off Lego Ideas *rofl*
  23. I don't suppose LOTR is ever going to return in the way people will hope... partly because did the hobbit not sell well? but also I expect TLG would prefer to move away from licensed sets I think... (apart from SW... as it will always sell I expect). I still believe that if the whole lego community (not just the Eurobricks ones) who were fans of castle/medieval/fantasy were strategic and regularly submitted and supported all of those kinds of sets on IDEAS... we'd get better results in a few years time, than if we didn't.
  24. I really hope you're wrong... but I can't help but think you're probably going to be right... Plus with Chima being given the boot I wonder if they're hoping point those fans into the direction of NK? This is part of the reason why I'm uploading so much of my stuff on LegoIDEAS at the moment - I want to show someone that (paraphrasing Gimli) There is one castle themed AFOL in Middle Zealand who still draws breath! I agree in that there is no reason why the castle / medieval / fantasy themes can't be more creative like in previous years... but I'd take another middle ages castle over the mechanised NKs. And there are a myriad of options... look at Burlogh's Claw Coast http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=122702 for example of a different style of build... or something smaller like Combee's Ogre Encampment http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97430 Wonderful builds! Oh I don't know... the "castle" could be split into more modular sections... so 2 or 3 sets which would build decent enough structures in themselves but when combined could be built into something larger. I will pass on the Bionicle... but i'm down with everything else... I would offer respectfully is, why aren't we (ie: the Lego Community) not doing anything about it? There are a TON of amazing builders on here and on historica. Why aren't there more offerings on LegoIDEAS? Why no groundswell of support for existing projects that will show that there is a great demand for these types of builds. Like https://ideas.lego.com/projects/116214 or http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=117496 by Michael Kalkwarf for example. If it were the "castle" themed submissions that were hitting 10K every time then surely the business arm of TLG would be thinking a little differently?
  25. Agreed! The floor is looks haphazard yet it is controlled and built perfectly - well done :D
