"The cold never bother me anyway." Once again, terrific!

I do like the Demolition Site. And is that a new (slightly cleaned-up) logo?

AntiMatter looks very sick, and that motorcycle looks way more like a Tron lightcycle (in terms of color scheme, I love anything futuristic) than the Infearno Interception car (which is my favorite set from the current wave). Looking forward to purchasing one of these (or two, or three...).

It would be really cool if we could get the Mixels "eye dot" (the one on the logo) as a tag, and we could have a choice between that or a Hau when we qualify.

I am pretty sure that's just the same hand. It's pretty sad that the only variant of hands for the Masters looks to be silver, though (other than Kopaka).

So are the red tribe really new Infernites? I'd like to know, because we've had a heated argument about the situation on the wiki. I have proof that suggests this to be the case, but people aren't really listening. 1.) During SDCC this year, on Twitter, LEGO set designer Andy Seenan stated on Twitter that Burnard was an Infernite. This could have easily been a mistake. 2.) Their bags have a background of the Magma Wastelands (Infernites land, for those who don't know) behind the figures. Also, I wonder if this will affect Flain's current leader status, or how the Maxes work. Personally, I want to hear your opinions. If this is true, I really hope that we receive additional Cragsters, Electroids etc. in future series.

I love the many Rebels sets. The premiere was great, so if nothing else in the wave, I'll get those. Any chance you could put these images in a gallery, just2good? I would really appreciate it!

I guess we all just have different opinions. Honestly, I don't really care about real life proportions on figures like BIONICLE. It's a fantasy universe, and looks should be kept fantasyish (to an extent, and I'll be honest when I say that Kopaka's legs are borderline ridiculous). We'll probably never know the reasoning for some set designs in any theme. I guess it's the same type of argument as Lewa's color scheme, Gali's mask, or even Tahu's, for that matter. I just always thought of Kopaka that way. And, it really doesn't matter anyway, because if this is a reboot, God only knows how these characters will change, personality-wise. LEGO can do anything as we wish. Pohatu could be the leader, and we can see that Onua is definitely a monster of a thing. Heck, Gali could even be a boy now! Just a week longer until we know anything for sure. It's all just speculation based on images.

This just had to be done. I did NOT put much time into this, but once you have an idea there is no stopping.

Am I the only one who actually loves Kopaka's legs? The reason I like them is because of the fact that it makes him look very protected. This, I think, goes with the character trait of his independence and "I work alone." attitude among the Toa, in which he needs to fend for himself, especially in the harsh snowy environment. I think I'm reading a bit too much into this, but simply, to go along with what others have said, they just look like big winter boots. The only thing that could possibly make them better is to remove them (which as I just said, would not work for me, as I like them a lot) or do the same bulking up to only the front of the upper legs, as adding them to the back would restrict bending of the knees.

I love the Shipwreck Defense. Such a simple, but nice looking build. Also, dem minfigs!

I'd like to see a dimension-traveler Takanuva for a summer release in 2018. You know, a fifteenth anniversary special edition set for the Mask of Light film. It would also have to fit into whatever 2018's rebooted universe storyline is (assuming we are getting a reboot, which is pretty clear that the story will be one at this point). Also, I'd be shocked if we never got a Takanuva in Generation Two of the line. He (the same character from the original story) could reach that universe's Toa Mata/Niva and give them an important mission or something, I don't know. Golden armor with white limbs as a color scheme, along with a redesigned Avohkii, would be really cool-looking. His weapons would be a big and gold version of the twin staffs from his 2010 Stars set. That is all.

Headcanon: the new main villain uses the Mask of Creation to open a portal to Ninjago, which the Overlord sneaks through and possesses Onua. Ninjago and BIONICLE crossover confirmed!

Skylanders/Disney Infinity Discussion
TheBrickPal replied to EdWebhead's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I wish I could get DI 2.0, but I'd have to buy a whole entire new gaming console. I'll stick with finishing my figure collection for the first game on Wii.- 4 replies

Wait, what? Doesn't Rebels premiere TONIGHT on Disney Channel?

Who can forget Kardas? However, I really like that small, leaked image of one of the Toa/Protector combiners for next year.

Nope, I think he is referring to the Stars Piraka from 2010, who was known as Nektann in-story. Anyway, I can remember several Matoran of different elements having the same Kanohi in different colors. Perhaps that is the same situation here?

Panthar is Tormak after being burnt or something. I wouldn't know how, the episode with that scene hasn't aired in the USA yet. I initially thought that he was going to turn evil (the constraction set makes him look like a big bad), but it looks like he is still good, as he is seen fighting alongside Gorzan in that new set.

It's a shame that the beaver looks nothing like in the TV series. Other than that, I really like these sets. Definitely getting all the tribe packs, and Icebite's Claw Driller.
-
I guess that might be why. Thinking of the Phantoka Lewa as Lewa's appearance at that point kind of threw me off, but I loved the look of the set on its own. And to answer your question, Phantoka means "spirits of the air", and "Mistika means "spirits of the mist" in the Matoran language. But... looks like Aanchir beat me to it!

so twas the Mistika that killed it Was that a Mata Nui joke? And the Mistika WERE pretty awful looking, at least in terms of faithfulness to the character.

What? No Bladvic? He's my favorite. Oh well, it's good that we are getting bears (and beavers) in general.

What I meant was, LEGO could treat it like a soft reboot. Nobody can escape the Bonkles
