I got the Lego 2017 Holiday Catalog in the mail today. 75192 Millennium Falcon was completely omit from it. I'm not expecting it to be available again until 2018. How possibly hard can it be to ramp up production for a particular set!?

That's a lot of money for a lot of grey pieces. I look at it like this - I could buy 2 Ninjago cities, have $200 in my back pocket, and have 9,800 (versus 7,500) much more interesting/colored parts. (One model for display, one for parts pack) If one looks at it from a pure PPP ratio, this is not a great deal. Just because it says "Star Wars" on it does not mean I should pay a ridiculous premium for licencing. Aesthetical, IMO, the MF is just an ugly ship, compared to the rest of SW vehicles. The B-wing might be a bunch of grey pieces too, but it's a more interesting design. This is also too massive to display, unless one has a dedicated Lego room. It's 2 feet wide and 3 feet long. I don't, and that reason alone makes this an easy decision.

I do not care for Ninjago whatsoever, but the designers did a good job of making this set appealing regardless. Day one buy, I'm looking forward to displaying this masterpiece -
UCS Snowspeeder is great model and worthy of the UCS badge (unlike insult on Hoth.) Couple of comments; 1. Very fragile, especially because of the ball joints and rubber bands providing tension for the bottom of the wings. Definitely not swooshable because there's really no great way of holding it. Patience must be exercised during build 2. EDIT: I made a huge mistake here and forgot to push 2 pins in. Still a little wobbly, but much more supportive now..oops lol. The base is complete garbage a does not provide adequate support, and is extremely wobbly. Too top heavy, it leans a good 10 degrees to the right. Tomorrow's project will be building better support stand for the Snowspeeder UCS millennium falcon is happening

UCS Snowspeeder already on backorder at S@H. I hope there's not a bunch of lame resellers in line at my lego store this morning buying multiples :l Edit: nevermind, they are limiting it to 1 per customer

Fantastic review. Day 1 purchase for me! Which, according to my Lego store, there is no early release anymore and will not be sold until May 4 :( Edit: I'm going to be really tempted to leave the white sticker off the side cockpit windows. I'm envisioning it looking slightly better.

I'm excited, it's a very iconic star wars ship and nice for those of us that missed out on the first UCS version, and is a very nice display piece. As some have said, the The excessive amount of stickers don't really bother me.. it's been the norm for a decade now. Printed would be nice, but it's hard to justify making so many exclusive printed pieces just for one set if you're a Lego executive, I'd imagine. I'll be calling my local Lego store every day the week before launch, as they typically get these sets in early :)

I really like the new UCS snowspeeder, it's much more detailed than 10129 and a nice update. I'll surely pick it up day 1 and have to fit it in my fleet :D Hard to tell from the impartial box shot, but I hope it comes with a pilot next to the plaque

Has there been any updates on the new UCS 75144 Snowspeeder? I was hoping for a January/February release once it officially got pushed back to 2017, but not hearing anything about it makes me worried I'm going to have to wait for a May 2017 release. Sadface

Lovely MOC. I love the use of studs everywhere, really adds texture and realism to the outdoors. Plates are far too common now :D

This is the most impressive MOC, Lego or technic, I have seen in a long time. The classic space scheme is on point. Can't wait to see your future builds!

This is a truly superb MOC. Very well done! I like the snot ceilings in the hangar with the slopes and imperfections.

My 4 favorite sets are the only Legos I keep on display in my bedroom as a grown man :) 10227 UCS B-Wing 75060 UCS Slave 1 75094 Imperial Shuttle 75102 Poe's X-wing Not coincidentally, they are all ships.

It's really growing on me. I think it can be appreciated more if you can envision the hangar doors closed. It looks rather bare with it open. It seems to be a very good starting point for a MOC interior. I wish there were a couple more snowtroopers, oh well. I'll be picking up at least one (maybe two?!?) the day it comes out at my local lego store.

75098 is growing on me. At first it was a big "meh," but I'm starting to like it and probably won't pass it up.

Any updates/leaks on the UCS Hoth base that is supposed to come out next month? It's going to cap off my lego purchases for the year..the first 2 being slave 1 and the Tydirium imperial shuttle :D

Hillsdale mall in San Mateo still had some left as of 11am. I grabbed the last one off the shelf but he said he had a bit more. I also got the flower and at st poly bags. They had a bunch of birds and exo suits in stock too. Not sure if the suits are hard to get at this point. K time to be a 6 year old
