  1. Thank you, @Grover. I wanted to use some olive green and dark green parts in the landscape. But I did not find a way to actually blend the colors in.
  2. You have build some interesting stuff. Great use of the plate arch (I don't know how to call the part) in the house and the wall.
  3. Hi everyone, 20 years ago were the Knights Kingdom sets in the store. I was happy at the time that a new Castle theme was in the stores. My mother said that the sets were too easy to build and we already had Castle sets. Looking back, the sets are not quite challenging. To celebrate the anniversary of the theme, let me show you my latest creation. Deep into the forest is the hideout of Cedric the Bull. The hideout is located under ground. John of Mayne is imprisoned and knows that Cedric the Bull and his gang will attack the castle of King Leo very soon. Gilbert the Bad is working on a new catapult. Cedric the Bull is monitoring the construction of the artillery. I don't know where I've read that Cedric the Bull had a hideout in the forest, but this was always in my mind. For more pictures, look into my Flickr album. Feedback is always appreciated.
  4. My compliments on this build. You've done a great job on the shape of the mill.
  5. What @zoth33 said!
  6. Great build! It is nice to see a lot of details in the walls, but not that overwhelming.
  7. Wooh! That is a stunning build! Great job on the SNOT build house.
  8. I agree with @zoth33. Nice job!
  9. Thank you @Lego David. It is really weird to have a super secret HQ above a cafe, but it is a fun mix in one build. My brother was teasing me, that it was the color scheme of Res-Q. I have also a video of the tower. In the video the mechanism is working. Video of the Alpha Team tower
  10. Hi everyone, I finished my latest build. This build is for the LowLUG collabration at Bricks am Meer in April. In the tower is the HQ of Alpha Team. After the attack of Ogel on their previous HQ, Alpha Team had to restart at a smaller location. Below the HQ is an cafe where people can buy some drinks and snack. This tower can be reached by monorail. For more pictures, please look into my Flickr album. Questions and feedback are appreciated.
  11. Hi everyone, I am currently building a tower for a collabration with other members of LowLUG for Bricks am Meer. The first build, that is finished, is the remake of the Helicopter set from 2001. Feedback and questions are appreciated anytime.
  12. Great versions of classic sets!
  13. That is a good looking Half-Track! I really like the shape in the front and you have used the car piece of the adventures very well.
  14. That is amazing! You've done a great job capturing the base in miniscale and the vehicles are very nice. Great job!
  15. Hi everyone, I finally took the time to take pictures of a few scenes. The scenes were already shown at Dutch Comic Con in November. The first scene is inspired by X-Men: Days of Future Past movie. Magneto was at a gathering to stop people from buying Sentinels. In his exit he confronts the local police. The second scene is inspired by the Lego Marvel Super Heroes video game. Venom is creating chaos in an office building. Spider-Man is very close. Can you spot him? For more pictures see my Flickr album. Feedback and questions are appreciated anytime.
  16. Thanks guys! I wasn´t very active the past few months. To make up for it, I will show you my final DC Super Heroes scene. For more pictures from other angles, please look into my Flickr album. Feedback and questions are welcome anytime.
  17. That was a great public meeting. There were over 400 visitors (in 4 hours). Some people of Rogue Bricks and Bricks am Meer were present as exhibitors. I took some pictures of the builds. See my Flickr album for the pictures.
  18. Sorry for the late response. Thanks guys!
  19. Lego World is already three weeks ago, but I was a bit busy with sorting Lego and preparing other builds for other events. I had some great reactions from the visitors during the seven days at Lego World. There were some trouble with the mechanisms in the Droid Factory, which means that I do not have a video of the action inside the Droid Factory. Some pictures of the landscape: The battle of Geonosis The Droid Factory For more pictures, see my Flickr album. If you want to see more pictures of Lego World, see my other Flickr album. Questions and feedback are always appreciated.
  20. You’ve done a great job capturing the shape and feel of the house. Yet, from some angles it feels like screaming at you with that many colors in the upper section. I really like the way you have build the roofs.
  21. I've started building with some various Super Heroes scenes. Two scenes are finished. The Scarecrow has placed some canisters with fear gas in the docks. But why? Is this a distraction? Batman hasn't noticed the green question mark yet. The other scene is a bit inspired by the Flash TV series. The Flash noticed a yellow streak moving through Central City and started to chase it. There are more pictures in my Flickr album. Feedback and questions are appreciated. Sander
  22. This is yours? I saw this build on Brothers Brick. Really stunning! Great work on the colors, signs and stripes in the orange panels.
  23. That is really amazing! Wonderfull build. I like the shape of the body (in the middle).
  24. That is an amazing version! Thanks for sharing!
  25. @BEAVeR: thank you! First my compliments on such a detailed response and analysis of my build. The left front XL baseplate and the right back XL baseplate have a big mechanism that is removable. At the front it created a limitation in space for rocks to form, which led to using a lot of slopes of 3 bricks high. To keep it subtle, I used the same structure with tiny variation in the entire mountain. The top is a bit flat but I had to end the rocks at some point, because I was almost out of slopes. The part with the stairs was an excuse to build a movable Geonosian Canon, but it looks probably weird from this point of view. If you look straight at it, it looks better. Thanks again for commenting. @JoeChu1980: Thanks! I look forward to it as well.
