I know nothing about planes but I think your one looks great. I think the tail works, Your shape is alot more in scale and shape that it should be. I have Aviation Adventures 31011 and I really don't like the tail but love the plane. I will probably try to change it at some point.

I was just going to ask what bracelets were. Does anyone know if these could actually be used as bracelets on a minifig? I also find the "upper" part of the name to be strange, where is the "lower"?

I laughed at the first one. All mine seem to be odd. ☺

Hectic party, the fountain works well when joined onto the pool. I like how you did the water where it enters the pool.

Help with identifying parts/sets!

Like a container that a set would've come in. Unfortunately not round like the X-pod one shown. It is rectangular. Is there a way to search for canisters/containers on BL? -

Help with identifying parts/sets!
legoguy1984 replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hi all, I got a Lego lot and in amongst all the Lego and clone bricks I found a container. The bottom is clear and straight backed, the front curves towards the bottom and it has plastic ridges inside. The top is green with two tabs on the one side qnd one tab on the other to hold it onto the bottom and the top has a wierd tab thing cut out in the middle. Both the top and bottom have Lego on them but no part numbers. Any ideas? -
You are really really talented. I have loved all your animal builds so far.

I used a dremel like tool with a cloth over to act as a buffer to try this. I sort of succeeded in making a small part of the brick look like new. You have to remove the top layer of plastic, I would think this is the only way, and unfortunately this will make the brick weaker and it will be very difficult to get it even across the face of the brick. For the flat area just below the studs I just used a knife to cut off the little chewed bumps so it sat flush again. I would love to hear if there are any other theories so that I can try to fix the rest of my pieces like this.

It depends on the part and the break. If it is a nice clean break just superglue lightly together. It's only really worked on seats for me so far but the rest of my broken stuff sits in a tub waiting for a use to still come to me.

One word: AMAZING. I love the whole build. Thanks for sharing.

All my broken pieces either get repaired or modded. If it is too broken and beyond all help it just sits in the boneyard, haven't figured out what to do with those ones just yet. I'd say loom at what you have with an open mind. The bamboo pieces might still be useful in a place that the other leaves would have gotten in the way or a plate cut down and neatened up might still be of use.

This is an awesome project, your history and buildings are perfect. I love the idea of mixing all the styles and historical periods together to create a coherent city layout. Can't wait to see your finished city.

If you have minifigure accesories just use those. I was thinking the same thing and used adventure type stuff.

Thanks for doing this. I have been waiting for a review to finally see the ship. Not into Pirates as a theme but have always wanted a pirate ship. Can't wait to finally get her.

Very well done. Love the details. Thanks for sharing.

I also have neither. Still hoping to get the Brick Bounty. Don't know which ship I prefer but as a set I prefer Brickbeards Bounty. A monkey and a shark that while cartoonish seems to not be available anymore are definite wins for me.

I think it looks great. Just the same skylight options that gazumpty suggested. It looks to me like the kind of building that would perfectly house a museum. The windows and colour scheme definitely work. Good work.
