  1. Not too sure about the lantern fig. Mine is the battery construction worker. I also struggled to find info on it before I bought it though and I haven't been able to add it to brickset.
  2. Awesome collection. Must have brought back lots of memories while building.
  3. I just thought weird as I'm sure I saw it in a popstar friends set and it's not really a pop song. I do realize it is a popular song just thought the type of music was a strange choice.
  4. A weird choice I think for a song on a Lego tile. May have something to do with licensing? Nice to know it's not just random notes as I can't read music.
  5. If it is for a mould of a big fig I know the construction torch fig has a removable hat, no force necessary.
  6. Not a big fan of stickers in general and normally leave them off. It is nice to have the choice of whether or not we want a particular piece decorated. Printed pieces are in my opinion better.
  7. These are awesome. Love the farm police with the cow cop and the deep sea police.
  8. If you are storing the boxes just for storing sake and not actually doing anything with them then I would toss them if you want to sell further down the line then the box in good condition could help to increase your price and if you like the artwork and want to look at them then cut out and maybe frame the ones you like.
  9. My favourites are the Organ guy, I'd buy as many as I could for the monkey alone, and the town crier. Would also like to get the business man and of course the troll.
  10. I enjoy building with instructions, and sometimes sorting is more fun than building.
  11. I made one recently that is about the same height. It works for me as a build/display table but I also want my three year old son to see so it's a great height for him to get involved. If you are a Lego purist replace the plates and use it for special displays that would be better viewed from a top down perspective.
  12. I have gone back to Lego as an adult but my younger brothers both buy Lego now. I never allowed them to play with mine so their first real introduction to Lego came when they were already working and I asked them to get a few sets for me as the work closer to a toy store. After that they seem quite keen to collect. When I asked him why he said he is older now and can afford it and he has a daughter which just seemed more like a convenient excuse than an actual reason. I think it's because of what you can do with Lego and we can now all get together and discuss/build Lego now so it becomes almost social.
  13. There are also the educational packs of minifigs. Can be precey but per minifig the price seems wort it.
  14. A great review of a set I have looked at with interest but I am holding out for Lego to do something similar with a steam train.
  15. I love seeing your robots. Each one is so completely different and full of life.
  16. I got the 6332 in a large lego lot but not complete, your one looks brilliant.
  17. That is an awesome moc and great use of "useless" pieces. Thanks for showing us that even the broken pieces might still find a use someday.
  18. Of course, I'm always having to pick up pieces
  19. Thanks for the review, I sometimes look forward to your review more than the actual figs.
  20. It seemed really slow and a little difficult to use. There are apps for stop motion available on thebplay store. I would suggest one of them for stop motion.
  21. That smash and grab set looks so awesome. The flick fires look good on that model too, I'm not saying get rid of them but use them wisely. They looked terrible on the swamp craft from the Monster Fighters but great in the above example. Granted that they are both completely different sets at completely different price points. At the end of the day though it's still Lego and you can do something awesome.
  22. True that they never worked but the parts as has been mentioned are still useful. The best use I saw for one was in the last Castle carriage where it shot the lock for the gate out. I personally have never liked them but do we need to replace them with something that shoots the smallest Lego piece? They work almost too well and I have been scared of just shooting them off as you never know if you will find the stud again. The longer projectiles are fine, just that the projectile is kind of a one trick pony and where you can always replace a stud the projectiles are not so easy, same goes for the new shooting crossbow that I think comes with Ultimate Aaron, specialised projectiles. I do prefer the non shooting guns just for the loss issue.I guess this is Lego's way of appealing to a new market.
  23. I love LLL. You seem to have a few great sets already, loving the castle stuff.
  24. I like the way they turned out. A little shiny, looks as if it has just finished raining. Matt lamination might work for that. Love the little city and the critter crossing.
