Procedure for Captured Vessels
Kolonialbeamter replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
It is suspected that the unknown ship was from Namere. This is repeated in the list, saying that their accent was Namerian. Ska wouldn't have mentioned this if it wasn't of any significance. IMO that's enough to go knock on their court doors. -
Procedure for Captured Vessels
Kolonialbeamter replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Scimitar and Commerce de Breshaun's capturer was from Namere. That makes a case OL vs. NAM. The Torino was sailing under Khorne, not Dukesc. The Fairmont was sailing under Gideon, not Dukesc. Revenant is a 2F, not a 5F. All these traders can be sistershipped 'only' by paying the license, right? Same as we now technically have two versions of the 'Heart of Eslandola'. In this case a build off for The Torino and The Fairmont isn't really necessary. And the Revenant will simply return, as the name suggests... so I'd have no incentive to bid on my ship. Sorry, I didn't really follow the past auctioning topics -

Are you saying I'm fat? Our glorious Navy is down to one faction warship... guess that means there's more rum for the remaining crew Oh, and don't everybody attack at once, please! Fortunately, the rules for war aren't out yet I wonder how we get the King home to Granoleon now -
Wow, so much going on, no wonder the new KPA took so long to be published, these fleets are probably still fighting Thanks, Ska, for this thrilling read! Condolences to the brave souls lost at sea! Questions: Are there any build offs planned/possible to get some ships back? What happens to the Royal Marines that were stationed aboard captured faction warships? Do we have to raise them again? Do these troops automatically respawn to be redistributed again for next MCRA? What's the procedure here?

Fascinated by the reports in Father Tholeau's journal, Cato Calrelli immediately wanted to set sail to the mentioned island. But realizing he was out out supplies, he instead changed course back to Terreli to return better prepared as soon as possible. Unfortunately for him and his career, Calrelli was a bit too eager getting home quickly. He ignored the bad weather warnings from the Kings Port Advertiser. Never a good thing to do! He didn't wait for the storm front to pass, and took the direct route - were the hurricane caught his ship. Only with luck Calrelli and his crew were washed up on the shores of Terraversa. Alive - but he would never again be given the chance to captain another expedition to find out if Father Tholeau's stories were true.

The Poseidon Garden - Art and Culture Large - License active -
Ahoy once more! This is an entry for Oleon's Coronation Festivities challenge. The Poseidon Garden King Philip I was immensely impressed, and Queen Beatrice even more so. Continuing their tour through the city of Breshaun, they had just arrived at the Poseidon Garden - a terraced garden laid out in honor of the God of the Sea. Now, walking down the winding staircase, they looked around, then at each other, and lastly to mayor Sisnera, who was more than proudly smiling all over his face. This almost feels like being home in Granoleon - the King to his own surprise caught himself thinking - quite a decent garden! This tour has been nothing but joy so far. But now - hush - enough talk, enjoy the walk! about: Well, this one was tough. Constructing it was all challenging and fun, but at 18000+ parts LDD crashed quite a few times - which wasn't that much fun. The entire facility measures 165x128 studs. The ground took a lot of different design attempts to feel okay, and placing these bricks was a mind-numbing business Anyway, I'm quite happy with the final result now. I hope you like it, too C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!

Aaaand it's me again, As threatened promised, here's the MOC I was referring to when I posted this scene. A River Runs Through It Captain's Log, April 29th, 616AE: In the early afternoon we finished setting up camp at the beach, and immediately afterwards I had two armed scouting parties sent out to make a perimeter check. Also, the royal geologist from Granoleon - who was assigned to my company by direct order of the Intendant Général des Finances - insisted to have his mission started right away. So I had him escorted by a 2nd platoon, and they went off into the jungle to take mineral samples from various locations. Let's see what they find. Not that I could be bothered. I'd much rather see a fresh water source located soon... and if somebody could catch some fish, that'd make my day! about: Again, not really much to tell, pretty basic stuff. It's a dull prospecting scene, but to add some fun, I tried myself on a little creek with some tiny (not so rapid) rapids and some fishy action. Still not too familiar with rockwork, but I hope it doesn't look too boring. C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!

Ceremony at the General Breshaun Monument - Art and Culture Large - License active -
Ahoy again, Just leaving this little scene here, as it's needed for my next MOC. Plus, it will serve as a starting point for next month's expedition into the interior of 'The Trap'. Claiming New Lands Captain's Log, stardate April 29th, 616AE: I've sent two of my men up the beach to gather some perimeter info. Meanwhile, the rest of the company has just finished transferring our equipment from the HRS Granoleon to the beaches. She's about to set sail again, back to Breshaun, and leave us here. We'll hopefully see her again in a month from now. Until then, we'll be on our own out here. But our orders are clear: We are to officially take possession of this island, which is commonly referred to as 'The Trap', and set up a base camp in shore sight. Once this is completed and secured, I will take my company of Royal Marines inland to find out what is and what isn't true about the rumors that some pirate has made this island his home. We are prepared to meet resistance, and I'm confident my men will prevail! For Oleon! about: Not much to say about this. The ship isn't new, and the ocean is a once more enlarged version of the one I've used before, and it only had LDD crash three times The rest isn't much larger than the picture is wide. Again, this is only meant as a start for something to be hopefully continued next month. I hope, you can enjoy it a bit, anyway Vive le Roi!

Hi guys, This is an entry for Oleon's Coronation Festivities challenge. Ceremony at the General Breshaun Monument King Philip I and his wife Queen Beatrice are busy people these days. News of the royal couple's planned trip to Breshaun has caused great excitement among the local populace, and upon their arrival, the entire town is now eager to present itself in the best light possible. Breshaun is experiencing a boom these days, its growth is literally visible, and a lot of prestigious buildings and structures have been finished just in time for the royal visit. Among these is the new monument to honor General Breshaun - the city's first governor - errected in the middle of the main market square. Now, for its inauguration a ceremony is being held - of course attended by King and Queen. And it seems that despite the early morning hours, a lot of citizens are afoot and want to welcome the royal couple, and proudly show them what the people of Breshaun are capable of creating here in their thriving city. about: This started out as a small, simple statue, but I got carried away, and this happened. The cross shaped base and the cobblestone pattern around the monument are meant to be an homage to general Breshaun's insignia, represented on the city flag - which is based on this part here. What else? Well, minifig creation and placement is really not something I enjoy in LDD. Apart from that, building this went astonishingly smooth, and I'm quite happy with the result. I hope you enjoy it, too C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!

Ahoy mateys, A ship - who would have guessed?! Presenting: The 'Scimitar' The Scimitar is a rather unusual sight in the waters of New Terra. She is what most people these days would call a Xebec – a ship type clearly not common to the shipwrights of the Madrice Peninsula. And she wasn't built in Oleon. In fact, her true origins lie to the far south. She was bought by the Royal Shipyards from merchantmen who traded in Granoleon. Merchantmen from the Mokolei Empire, where expertly crafted Xebecs are used vastly as warships as well as traders. The Royal Shipyards were impressed by the Scimitar's cargo capacity, but astonished by her protective capacities. Arming a fast trade ship that heavily is something not very common outside the Rogian Sea, where pirates are a constant menace to merchant ships. But with the ever increasing trade volume here, more pirates are likely to try finding opportunities to prey on unprotected traders in the Eastern Brick Seas, also. So what better opportunity to learn new concepts and adapt to the new times than to buy a veteran ship, that excelled under such conditions. The Xebec design is now being studied extensively by the Royal Shipyards' master shipwrights, and the Scimitar has been given Oleander colors. Now she is ready to sail under her new flag. And - as always - IFS shaming about: This one was a tough one to build. Building the angled poop deck, and attaching it to the rest of the ship - without gravity and the magic capabilities of the opposable thumb - was, well... difficult. So was designing the latin yardarms (or what they are called) Credits for the 'eye' design go to Dunkleosteus. Some numbers: She's 92 studs long at the waterline, length overall is 135, and she is 23 studs wide. She's also my first ship to feature completely snoted decks. For now her intended class is a 5F, but I armed her a bit heavier than the average 5F, so that might change with the new ship list. I hope you like her, C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!

If through provokation you find consolidation, then I stand corrected. I humbly appologize, and will instead express my sincere sympathies for the misserable state of your once glorious empire to all you consolidated Eslandoliansers. -

By explicit request of His Majesty, the loyal subjects of the realm are encouraged to perform their civic duty by contributing to find names for Oleon's newest colonies in the eastern Brick Seas. In his paternal wisdom, His Majesty has instructed the High Council to list a number of names, from which each of His Majesty's loyal subjects is to select the one for each island they deem most fitting. His Majesty will then take these into account when making his decision. Island #8 ('The Tadpole'): Pharos Akron Island #3 ('The Trap'): Île de Tyche Île Philipin Niriis So, from the list above, pick one name for each island and post them here! On Saturday the 30th we will add the 'suggestions', and the High Council will proclaim the islands' new names. New Islands Information Vive le Roi!
