3804 RCX 2.0 worth it?
JopieK replied to Cusm's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It is really worth it then indeed! Make sure it is alive of course. another option is to use Arduino with Scratch to program a LEGO robot but you need to have some technical fingers yourself when assisting him then. (we use Arduino + LEGO PF in high school) -
Lots of questions about Lego Western! WW Guys Have Names?
JopieK replied to captain gabe's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Legoredo is the name of the large Fort (Fort Legoredo), I just reproduced stickers for it so I had a careful look at it :) those sets fit in very well with Lone Ranger I think! -
MOC: An 'almost' Climax for the Kotanga Tramway.
JopieK replied to Locomotive Annie's topic in LEGO Train Tech
you might want to use a 'gold cap' capacitor to make sure the LED also works at lower speeds (that particular kind of capacitor is an even better buffer than normal ones). In German, but that shouldn't be a problem should it: http://www.ralfwagner.de/rmb/bau/0310_led/ledschaltungen.html -
The dalmatian is a nice one as well isn't it?! It is in the Fire Station set... so not all animals are in Friends...

1237 Honda Asimo stickers?
JopieK replied to Lost_In_Noise's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
interesting... both the set and the sticker issue :) offtopic: did you guys know that honda does not allow an Asimo performance when the floor is more than 4mm off? Maybe their newest version is better, but balancing is still quite a challenge. -
I would go for a wireless solution, I have done several experiments with this already and it is a mess ;) But if you really want to: See this topic (in Dutch: http://themepark.nl/...ego_vragen.html) Conrad has those 'anti-twisters': http://www.conrad.be...Kabelontwarders Update: they call it untangler: https://www.hama.com...ansparent-black Another option is using ball bearings (but make sure they are conductive of course ;))
-
better report it to railbricks / bricklink as well then ;)
-
why not? Your work is great and people appreciate it! I do at least!!!
-
saw your MOC already at 1000steine forum ;) Nice work, I'm wondering though if ambulances often need to yield (since they are emergency vehicles and with whistles and bells have priority).

Look what our friends (uhm I mean Lok24) from 1000steine brought us: I just love his solutions!!! his switch is fully functioning, the train is a PF train with LiPo! He did not alter any LEGO part whatsoever.
