Better gui?
JopieK replied to Grimofdoom's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
RobotC is for people with a bit programming experience very nice and slick!!! -
I assume LUGnet would be an option... Although it might be eternal september in some ways, I enjoy it here :) We could maybe also have a look at 1000steine, I technically don't like the forum system, but the option to have a (paying) members only option makes it much less "eternal september" in those Plus member areas. It only costs about 12,5€ a year so...

Light up the town! Light Bricks or LEDs?
JopieK replied to BlueCaret's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Light bricks are more difficult to use of course. I normally use self made LED's. -
hehe now we are getting somewhere... what about the workers ;) I think I need to puke! "swinging ship 1 was too intense!"

@roamingstudio, very nice work!!!! Then it is indeed much more appropriate.

New NXT imminent?
JopieK replied to JopieK's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well, small would be very inappropriate, at my school we have almost entirely switched to LEGO + PF in favor of NXT (except for the FLL of course where RCX and NXT are the only allowed platforms). -
I just noticed the NXT set begin discounted at LEGO.com, often a sign of discontinuation. With LEGO so deep into things like the LEGO League etc. it is unlikely they will discontinue it without having an alternative. Or are they just trying to sell a bit more?! Al those sensors etc. are also discounted so I'm wondering...

I think united nations soldiers (blue helmets) would be possible though...

Review 70003 Eris' Eagle Interceptor
JopieK replied to Cardinal Brick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
again nice parts, would be only reason for me to get such a set, but might be my problem since I'm not too much into fantasy etc. -

Not tweakers allowed here ;) (just kidding, have been a t.net member from before the great DB crash...). Welcome to EB.com and please do introduce yourself. Nice work, you used very thin wire?!

Nice job... Looks very nice!!! maybe it would be better to use some heat shrink tube for your LED's b.t.w.!!!
-
Very nice job, too bad those plants are not available in yellow!

What are that cone like parts behind the bridge of the battleship? Nice work!

the mould design would be very simple for straight track, only creating the mould itself is expensive, but quite some people would be eager to buy it I guess.

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
JopieK replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
stealing the idea for lone ranger and then abandoning it?! -
These are indeed normal L-gauge tracks with narrow 4.5v straights inside in that mine. I'm not sure about that oval tracks!

Nice job indeed! you could improve it by adding a coupler so you could pull small cars.

Hmm, not very smart that LEGO didn't think of that! Just modify it indeed I would say!
