  1. I have used that trick a few times last summer - it works very well. It works best with white and grey bricks - I have tried with blue and red, but they got even worse!
  2. That's my theory too. I have never been missing pieces in new sets.
  3. 130 euro in bilka here in Denmark for 42099 Just bought the Liebherr for around 320 at the same store earlier today. They have 30 % off of all their toys.
  4. Recently I bought 2x 8475 (one of them had some missing parts, and the battery-compartment was completely damaged by old batteries, but the motors worked just great. I got it all for 330 DKK - around 45 EUR. The complete one has been sold for 1600 and the two motors for 500 each (total of around 350 EUR).
  5. It's a bit funny, because they've never had the Porsche, but they have the Chiron - they are actually having 35% this week, and the Chiron is less than 2100,- compared to 3199,- with the normal pricetag. So it's hard to say if they'll sell the R9800 when it arrives.
  6. We have a retail chain here in DK - Bilka. 3 or 4 times a year, they have 35% off every LEGO set. Their selection is not that great though. But the "mainstream" Technic sets are on the shelfes.
  7. If there still is doubt about the price of this beast, I've just picked the new July to December catalogue here in Denmark. The retail price is 3399,- DKK, almost the same as the Chiron, which has a price tag of 3199,- DKK.
  8. In previously catalogs the theme starts with sets for the youngest ones, and then gets bigger and bigger throughout the next pages.
  9. If kids aren't old enough to handle a smartphone/tablet, they shouldn't be playing with my LEGO. I don't see any problem in this new system.
  10. If you don't mind buying a second hand set, it's easier to find the BWE than the Porsche that way. What I'm trying to say is that you should buy the Porsche before it retires, and keep an eye open for a used BWE.
  11. I think it's really cool - I remember they did something similar when 8880 were released. I noticed a funny thing in one of the videos: That's not true - I own at the least these 4 from 3800 (Ultimate Builders Set): The gearbox appears in 25 sets, some of them are from 2018!
  12. A couple of months ago, I bought: 8277 Giant Model Set 8082 Multi Control Set 8547 Mindstorms NXT2.0 8868 Air Tech Claw Rig 8880 Super Car 8735 Motor Set, 9V For DKK 1.000,- (around EUR 135,-). Except for the 8880, all stickers were still on the sheets, and all electrics works.
  13. It worked like a charm - when I found out that, of course, it was the 4L joint I needed Thanks!
  14. Great, I'll try that tonight. Thanks!
  15. I actually thought of that, but then again - seriously?
  16. Great review as always. But why haven't they used 4L axles for the outriggers? I think it looks unfinished.
  17. It definitely doesn't look like the chassis from 42082!
